Of all the horrible CVS stores I've had the pleasure of having to patron, this is by far the least, least best. The pharmacy staff would prefer to spend 15 minutes on the phone with you bs-ing reasons why they cannot fill your script than 15 minutes filling your script, even though they are legally required to do so. If you luck out and have no problems undoubtedly it's because there was one particular worker on shift who is helpful and not miserable. But I know what they're doing. They're trying to limit heir workload. Last month they lied and said they were all out of my medicine. Thankfully the aforementioned pharmacist soon came on duty. CVS, I understand that you're busy but your job isn't to triage customers and pick who you'd like to help based on God-knows-what qualifications; it is to fill prescriptions to provide necessary medicine. If you're busy, say you're busy and you'll get to it when you can. Don't lie. read more

This is one of the busiest CVS I have been to and last time I went was even filled with more people but was no problem at all, since it's organized, clean and with amazing staff that are willing to help in any way you need. Unfortunately we have an hurricane coming and had to get the prescriptions ready. My sister and I went to the pharmacy and the lady in charge was very kind with her and tried her best to provide the medicine she needed in time before the Hurricane Irma comes to Florida. Boy, Boy boy, where do I start, I've been coming to this location on and off for the last 12 years. This location is like a ten minute drive and it's on my way work. I usually try to come in the morning, when literally the store is empty and sometimes I do my couponing with ease and staff on the overnight shift always helpful, patient, and willing to assist. I'm going to write about my shopping trip this past Christmas (December 25, 2018). I came after work and it was around 3pm, I know it was Christmas and people were doing last minute shopping, it understandable of the heavy traffic they were encountering. I had some coupons that were about to expire and I wanted to do some last minute shopping. I grabbed a shopping cart as usual and started shopping. I then went towards the front to retrieve two shopping baskets to separate my items, due to me using my mom's and daughter's card. As I was separating my items, one of the worker approached me and was taking one of the baskets that I had started separating and I advised her that I was using the basket. (Very rude of her, without asking!) I managed to separate my orders to pay and I got in line to pay. I hate to put this on Yelp, but if I don't ,my review/encounter will not feel right. It was my turn to pay and I encountered Maria. I advised her that I had three separate transactions.She rang my first and second transactions with mo problem, when the third one came around it was my account and my Extracard card reward its digital and my cell phone was going dead. I asked Maria if its possible to view on her screen the available coupons and extrabucks I had available on my account. She replied, "that's why you have your phone for." I then advised her that she was not being helpful and that I was going to report her to corporate. I usually do have a problem here when I shop, but there are two supervisors that work on the afternoon shift who are not very pleasant when its time for me to shop, other than that I regularly shop here before and after work. read more

This location is huge with all kinds of choices, food, flowers, cosmetics, pharmacy, and all other types of items to shop for. Very complete. The Pharmacy can have great people working there or wretchedly bad. Have encountered both on many occasions. Since it is extremely difficult to exit here on busy hours - if you are going East or North you can totally forget it, and the parking is dismal I usually go elsewhere. Insanely busy location! I've never been in CVS with 4-5 registers open and a line with at least 7-10 people deep. Located in a high traffic touristy area. They didn't miss a beat for me, I was in and out with no problem! I found everything that I was looking for with ease. Borderline impressed actually. Honestly at this point they should just close this location, there is no point. No one answers the phone ever. I go in person to request my refills and the lady says "order placed pick up at 2" and nothing is actually done. It seems to be done on purpose. No buttons are pressed, nothing is processed. NADA. Sometimes I have to go back 3 times and just wait. They placed a new manager a few months back and it started to pick up. Lasted maybe 2 months. Today I stood in the car line 30 minutes. Nothing was happening. Their system was down and didn't bother even flashing a sign for the cars. When people got out to basically knock on the window they said "come back later". What a shame, this CVS is at a very busy intersection. CVS corp doesn't seem to care, I have tried complaining. You get put on hold "please wait for a complaint specialist" and they never pick up. Service started off as great as it could for someone having a sore throat. The nurse practitioner was wrapping up with the patient before me and gave me the paperwork to fill out, as their electronic check in system was down. I appreciate the fact that she kept the clinic open with a paper backup instead of taking the day off. She was also very thorough in her checkup, knowledgeable and with a pleasant chairside manner. The pharmacist was OK, professional in explaining the OTC medicines but the doctor was definitely a little more personable. Thankfully I didn't have an issue with the parking but agree with the other reviewers that making the turn to go back east can be a little tricky. read more

When I called and spoke with Donna she was superbly helpful, kind and thoughtful. Upon arriving at 7 pm on a Tuesday there was swift drive thru service and I was attended by Karla at the window. Karla had a radiant, fabulous, and an extremely positive disposition. I needed to swap forms of payment and Karla accommodated my requests and resolved everything with such grace.. Awful service by the pharmacy staff starting with the pharmacist. I had a medical emergency in which I needed a controlled medication for pain. After waiting for over 10 Minutes in the drop off counter, - there was only 1 staff working the counter and although I had been waiting , he kept tending to everyone that approached the pick up counter not even acknowledging my presence, finally the pharmacist walks over to the counter. He first goes to the consult counter and the very nice customer waiting in the consult window tells him that I was first, the pharmacist answer was " I'm the pharmacist and I'm the one who decides who I tend to first" , after he was done with the nice customer he approaches me . I give him the prescription and he gives it back to me and says " I'm sorry but I can't dispense that medication because I don't have access to the safe " ... really ? How about the emergency I have ? Isn't medication supposed to be available for when there's an emergency... like my husband with burns all over his arm and face can wait until the next day after 7am for the pain to go away ? Seriously ??! The pharmacist showed no regards whatsoever, even the customers around me couldn't believe what they were hearing. CVS need to train their staff a bit better if they want to compete with Walgreens. Although CVS has 3 stores with in 5 miles of where I live and Walgreens only has 1, making the wait time a bit long most of the times, I would much rather go there than to CVS. read more

Scheduling a same-day appointment at my doctor office is comparable to Moses parting the Red Sea. Nothing short of a miracle could get me into that office without at least a few days notice. With that being said, the Minute Clinic rocks! My job is a bit ridiculous about calling out & require a doctor note for any day that you take off if it is not scheduled in advance. So, if I feel like crap & call off, I have found my new go-to clinic. I still see my own physician for routine visits but if I'm just under the weather and need to see someone, this place gets the job done. And quickly. I am usually in & out of there in less than 20 minutes. I have gone several times and, even with 1 or 2 ppl ahead of me, have never been in the store for more than 30 mins. The Nurse Practitioner there is really sweet and knowledgeable. Oh and BONUS... They are open on Saturday AND Sunday! Whaaaattt?? Forget URGENT CARE and their looooong wait and higher co-pay!! The Minute Clinic accepts most insurance and with my particular insurance (AvMed), I'm not required to pay my co-pay on site. They bill me by mail. So if I'm short on $$ that week, I don't have to worry about paying the co-pay ON TOP of whatever my meds are going to cost. SWEET!! read more

I have never used the pharmacy for myself but have picked up plenty of prescriptions for an elderly neighbor. The place is BUSY but its because its an incredibly busy pharmacy that seems short staffed . The staff itself is efficient and very nice . They do the best they can as more and more people pour in . MANY of the customers are rude, obnoxious and they are the reason the line moves slower then it should but the pharmacy staff themselves are very good and truth is , how they don't lose their temper with many of the Doral customers is a mystery to me . read more

Summary: extremely disorganized with prescriptions (attempted to get my prescription multiple times after receiving texts and specific times that the prescription would be ready and every time they said they didn't have it ready), unprofessional behavior (answering personal calls instead of working), long wait times (over 1 hr in either the drive through or inside). Use a different pharmacy if you want to keep your sanity. I just spent two days picking up a prescription that should have been ready a week ago. The first time I went they said it wasn't ready yet and it would be ready at 8pm. It's important to note that I gave them a couple days after I received my prescription in order to give them time to do their job and I only went to pick it up after I received a text message saying my order was ready. Nonetheless, I came back the next morning to pick up the prescription that should have been ready at 8pm, the time they said yesterday. Surprise surprise, it wasn't ready and they once again asked me to come back in 3 hrs (which is an absurd amount of time considering that most pharmacies take 15-20 minutes to get your order ready). This was at roughly 3pm and at around 6:15 I called the pharmacy to see if my prescription was ready... it wasn't AGAIN. I asked to speak to a pharmacist who (after some waiting on the phone) hung up on me before I even got a word in. I was forced to call again only to be told that it would be ready in 5 minutes. When I went to the CVS the line was excessively long and took me 1 hr to get through. Before I could reach the window, the lady at the front desk decided to stop attending to costumers and instead answer a personal call for approximately 15 minutes. Overall, this was the absolute worse experience I have ever had in any pharmacy and will no longer be using CVS. read more
