The parking lot feels like 5 o'clock traffic on 610, packed with the same people who apparently believe they're the only ones on the road. Unfortunately, that behavior continues once they get inside. Folks stop dead in the middle of aisles, park carts diagonally across entire lanes, and stare into the distance like they're solving international diplomacy instead of choosing between a 40-pack of granola bars and a barrel of cashews. Spatial awareness goes here to die. To be fair, the employees here are consistently polite, helpful, and somehow manage to maintain their sanity while directing human gridlock for eight hours straight. The store itself is also impressively clean, especially considering it regularly looks like the entire Gulf Coast showed up at once to buy mayonnaise by the gallon. And honestly, it's a fine store. If you're ever in desperate need of an 8-pound can of tuna, a case of Bavarian sauerkraut, or enough paper towels to survive a minor economic collapse, this is your paradise. The samples alone can replace lunch if you're patient and willing to circle the aisles like a vulture.

HEB was not accepting new patients for my medication. I was beginning to panic because I have to take this medication to function and would become extremely sick if I didn't have it. The Pharmacist promptly asked for my information, set me up an account over the phone and told me to have my Dr send over the prescription. She was very kind and professional. I had initially told her I had insurance but it did not cover the prescription and when I called back to confirm it was received she wanted to make sure, in fact, that the insurance wouldn't cover it because it was almost $300. I always have issues every month with CVS. I didn't have not one issue with this lady who didn't even have an account with me to fill a prescription that is so important for me to live. I went into this Bath & Body Works location for the first time the other day. They had some great…read morespecials going $13.95 for 3-wick candles that are usually $27.95, and the body mists were marked down pretty steeply as well. I found some lotions and mists that compliment some seasonal body scrubs and washes I recently bought really well. I came home with two of the candles, The Perfect Christmas and Lavender & Pine. They smell so good. My home is currently decorated for Fall but already smelling like holiday cheer. The workers were very helpful. There was a young lady with the most beautiful curly black hair that helped me pick out the scents to match my body washes and one of the cashiers was kind and patient with helping me sign up for their rewards program which allowed me to get an additional $10 off my total purchase. It's nice not having to go inside a mall to get to a B&BW. I'm sure I'll be stopping by fairly regularly to try out new scents and to replenish my current ones once they've run out.
