Pharmacy staff is overworked but do their best. No major issues in my experience except an occasional long wait

Indian girl at the counter refused to take my ten dollar bill just because it had a few tears in the top and bottom of the bill. The serial number and everything else was in tack. Told me customers would get mad if she tried to give it back to them. Was rude and unfriendly. read more

First time coming here needed a place to grab some medicine and some quick bites. Overall it was a decent visit. Easy to find stuff, plenty of great seasonal gifts and other practical items you'd expect at a Walgreens read more

worst staff and customer service in the county. Avoid them like plague!!!! They have a bell you have to ring like pavlovs dog. If you don't ring the bell they get mad at you. read more

I was an hour away and had a sick child. This pharmacy was the only pharmacy within two hours of any direction of me that had the medication I needed it was a Saturday night and they were open. Until 11 PM I called a number of times at least five times and they would not answer the phone. I called the front end and they paged the pharmacy and the pharmacy still did not pick up. I have a very sick child and could not get my child's medication because I could not get a hold of them to have the other pharmacy transfer it. Please get enough help so that you can answer your phones within 20 minutes. I understand having to wait sometimes five maybe 10 minutes but they were very 100% unreachable. read more

Just got done at the take care clinic. Registered online and got in early like they asked. Everything went pretty smooth I had to enter more info on the kiosk station. The Nurse Practitioner was very nice, knowledgeable, and kind. She took care of everything from diagnosing my issue to sending the prescription to the pharmacy across the isle. Everything was so convenient, especially because I couldn't get into my primary care physician around my evening shift work schedule. read more

2 callers ahead of me and I have now been on hold for 35 minutes and still waiting. It's the same thing every time I call. This is beyond ridiculous. If I try to call corporate to and I'm lucky if I can get them to answer the phone in an hour. This company has really gone downhill. read more

My husband and I get our prescriptions filled at this Walgreen's. It is open 24 hours and is on my way to the office. In January of 2015 I had a great experience with this Walgreen's! Two months after my husband and I were married he had a physically violent reaction to some of the food we had eaten at a restaurant. It was pretty uncomfortable for us since we were newly married... I felt so bad for him and I think he was embarassed. While my poor husband was in the downstairs bathroom I called Walgreen's pharmacy to ask for some advice. It was a Sunday night around 9:00 pm and "Christina" answered the phone in the pharmacy. She was SO comforting and understanding. She gave me plenty of options - she also went out into the aisles of the store and stashed a few medicines at the pharmacy counter for me. In the event that I came in to buy medicine for my husband I wouldn't have to rummage through the store - I could just run to the pharmacy counter, pay and leave the store. Christina didn't just go out of her way to help me, she calmed me down and enabled me to help my new husband (which I was totally unequipped to do)! Thank you to the Walgreen's pharmacy on State Road in Cuyahoga Falls! You have our business for life! read more

I just went to this store looking for a series of collectables that they stock. These come shipped with the same order number for each item and they have the same 3 riding the shelf that they have had for a month. I talked to the store manager and he said that the system is set to reorder when they reach one or two pieces. I told him I have been stopping in his store for a while looking for a few different figures, none of which they have had. He grabbed a scanner, scanned the shelf and ordered 6 more. While he has no control over what figures arrive I was very impressed with his friendliness and going above and beyond to satisfy me as a customer. BTW, he also took my number and told he he would call when the shipment comes in. read more

Horrible experience. Was not greeted (cashier was not assisting anyone) and then went to the FedEx counter to talk to the rep. They stared at me and didn't greet me. Immediately they told me "we can't ship that!". At least say hello! Just a really bad experience. I will not be going there again-ever. read more

90 degrees degrees outside, no air conditioning, no sign on the door to warn you. Aisles full of stuff to be shelved blocking the aisles. Me with an 85-yr-old mom with a cane trying to keep her from hurting herself among the mess. I normally love Walgreens, but not this one! read more

I used to be able to come to the take care clinic when I was younger and get any ailment taken care of. Now you have to call ahead and make an appointment. I'll do that with my regular doctor thank you. read more

My suggestion for anyone with prescriptions is to avoid this place like the plague! They have got to be the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They have the longest wait times in line, and most workers literally have no idea what they are doing. I have had the same 1 birth control for the past several years. They have managed to mess up my prescription every single time I have gone in to pick it up. One time they refilled my prescription incorrectly (with another drug) then told me that they can't refill it because my insurance won't allow it. After a lengthy conversation and several phone calls to the pharmacy demanding they make it right, they refilled my prescription with the correct drug. After, they had a manager call me and try to tell me that it was my fault that they filled it with a prescription I have not used in 5 years. That went well for them. Today was the last straw. I went in to pick up my prescription the other day and I was not allowed to pick it up without paying because I didn't have a new insurance card. I pay my insurance for a reason, so I don't have to pay for prescriptions. So I was pretty upset that they would not let me take it, even though my insurance card was the same. I got my new card and waited in line for 12 minutes. I get up to the window and wait another 4 minutes for them to tell me that they were out of my specific birth control and wanted to know if I could take another one. No!! First off, why did you call me saying that my prescription was filled if you didn't have the drug? Secondly, how was the prescription filled two days ago and now it's not? Also no I cannot take another random drug. School should've taught you that different drugs have different side effects on people. Hence why I've been on this specific prescription for the past five+ years. They wanted me to pull around the building and jump back in line and wait. Not happening! I waited 12+ minutes to get here! This place has the most incompetent workers. I thought about going to another Walgreens, but this experience has completely turned me off Walgreens for good. I would suggest ANY OTHER pharmacy. It will save you gray hairs and drama! read more

This review is in regards to their minute clinic: If you're in a pinch and can't seem to get into your local physician quickly then this is not a bad option. Although not the most budget friendly of places for those of us who do not want/have health insurance ($89.00 per visit) it is still way cheaper then the Cleveland Clinic (in Chagrin Falls- $200.00 per doctor visit, $180.00 if your doc is nice & knows you're broke!). Signing in on their computers is nice because you don't have to really interact with anyone but the computers were so slow that I had to cancel my appointment & try again. They take walk-ins as well as appointments but it is first come , first serve. As far as cleanliness... not their strong point. There was dust bunnies, hair, and tiny little ants all over the floor and the pre -screening room was really cluttered. But otherwise, hats off to the staff. At first, the nurse practitioner seemed abrupt but she actually turned out to be incredibly nice and passed along a lot of budget friendly tips. One of the tips I appreciated the most was that the nurse pulled up a price list of what my prescription would cost me if I got pills vs. a liquid. Since I cannot swallow pills, she wrote on my prescription to have the pharmacists show me the size of the pills beforehand. She also made some cheap/easy suggestions that helped me learn how to swallow pills that I stupidly never thought of nor had any other doctor or nurse suggest. I also thought it was very sweet of the receptionist to call me 3/4 days after my visit to see if I was feeling better or had any questions. Again, not a bad place to check out :) read more

SCAMMERS!! On an afternoon trip to Walgreen's I noticed after I paid and was handed back the bagged good I wasn't given a receipt, there was a big sign in front of me saying something like 'if you aren't given a receipt at the time of sale we will give you $5' I pointed this out to which the sales women said she'd get the manager. After a few minutes the manager came out and handed me an A4 sheet of paper that she had just printed out on her computer in the back office. I said "but i wasnt given a receipt at the time of sale" to which she said "well what is this then" she didnt know how close she came to getting my fist in her face. I complained but nothing came of it. YOU OWE ME FIVE BUCKS WALGREENS. I nor anyone i know uses walgreens anymore. read more

Tonight was the 3rd time in a row that Walgreens messed up my daughters pharmacy. This time they "lost" the prescription, then after I called the dr. to have them send it again, it took them 45 minutes to fill it. I went to pick it up and they said that the dr. messed up the dosage and they would have it for me tomorrow? What? My daughter had surgery TODAY and needed the RX TODAY!!! When I told them that wasn't good enough and got upset with them then they could have it ready in 15 minutes. This is the second time that they "lost" a prescription. I will never go to this pharmacy again! If you value having your Rx filled appropriately you'll stay away from here!!! read more
