I have been coming to this Walgreens for over 20 years. I have been here so many times in my pajamas in the middle of the night to find medicine for a sick family member. I have used the photo center quite a bit and this Walgreens is always great for picking up a last minute items, medicine, health supplements, and makeup. It's always fun to discover you have $5 off a purchase at the checkout with their rewards program. This Walgreens is the closest pharmacy to Wynmoor, a large 55 and over resident complex so the pharmacy does tend to be extra busy here. I recently had to go on a medication and Walgreens has been great about keeping in contact with me with texts which makes it a breeze to know when my medication is ready for pick up, when I need a refill, or its time to contact the doctor. On this visit I finally decided to get the shingles shot. It has been on my health check list forever and I decided to finally take care of it and some other stuff in honor of my birthday in a few days. I am trying to work on my health goals so I can see another one. I was going to make an appointment but instead stopped in on the spur of the moment and it wasn't a problem at all. Andrea who is the pharmacist and who is also an RN did the honors. She couldn't have been nicer and answered all of my questions so that I felt comfortable. If you get shingles you can have pain long after the blisters have cleared. One in three people who have had chicken pox will develop shingles. Those weren't odds I was willing to play with. I have some soreness in my arm this evening but it will be worth it. One more shot to go in 2 months! read more

I will never understand why a store offers online inventory and never does inventory to update items that are sold / stolen/ or damaged. It's especially challenging when a store like this Walgreens doesn't show the amount of inventory so you could measure any success. (Do you have 1 or more ) You then take the chance,, and that's what it is, and even the store employees don't know where it would be located in store. They act like it's not a store if you're not looking for the actual pharmacy. After 10 minutes you (customer) find the tab and missing items. a like product at same list price by same brand, you would then think the manager would resolve it, after she verified on her little inventory tool, that it was sold over a month prior and it was there error. They are very overworked in the pharmacy, and there are a lot of customers using this popular pharmacy, maybe they can investigate " this issue and hire another worker or two for the pharmacy, they do the do the they can., the store is very clean and organized and is open 24 hours, so that you can acquire a few items you forgot, the pharmacy is open late' not 24 hours. read more

The ABSOLUTE WORST Pharmacy around. I'm done with them. I went in three times in abiut 2 weeks and even told them I wasn't in a hurry if pick it up later or the next day and they never filled my prescription. Even though I transfered all my information and prescriptions when I switched to them from cvs per my insurance this year I was getting told by cvs (my prior pharmacy) they filled it. When I tell thrm thr last time that I grilled a card out the pharmacist says it's my responsibility to transfer the script but factually speaking I'm supposed to fill that card out and they call the other pharmacy with the number i listed on the card. I can't have incompetent people filling my medications. read more

I used to come to this Walgreens a lot back when I was a student. Hasn't changed that much. Everything was neat and clean, aisles stocked and the crew was pleasant. The parking lot needed a little attention, though. I love some of the vitamin, beauty and soda specials they run. I use Walgreens quite a bit, and since I will be driving my son to college a few times a week, I expect I will be back many more times. read more

I have to agree with the others here about the pharmacy staff. Mistakes with medicine, rude personnel, both pharmacist and their helpers. If you have another choice AVOID this location. there's a particular guy in the pharmacy who has an attitude problem and is extremely rude for absolutely no reason. I don't think he's ever heard of customer service. The fact that the management allow that kind of behavior is appalling. 0/10. Will never be back. read more

This is the absolute WORST Walgreens's I've ever had the displeasure of shopping. Almost every single time I go there (the past three times for certain), there is an item that has the incorrect price point very clearly displayed below it and dozens of others. Tonight it was a difference of $10. And even though I went back to show the ladies and took a photo, they would not honor the price that was clearly displayed below DOZENS of the same item. This was my pharmacy of choice because it is so close to home, but the pharmacy has the worst time management and customer service experience. They give you an estimated time frame of when your prescription should be ready ok that's great but then you call just to make sure it is ready the person on the phone says yes it's ready for pick up. Fast forward one hour later just to make sure it is and then told you still have wait because it's not ready. Communication training is needed at this location. read more

I have tried on many occasions to do my prescription business with this pharmacy as it is very close to my home. At the drive up windows, there is always a long wait even if not many cars in line. I have spent as much as thirty five minutes waiting for my prescription and ten minutes after giving my name and address for it to be handed to me. Last wednesday I was give two prescriptions to be filled by my doctor. I brought them right away to the inside counter and was told there would be a two hour wait. When I returned 5 hours later to the drive up window I was first in line. I was able to get one of the prescriptions but was told the other one had not been scanned into the system. This negligence is inexcusable in the medical profession where health and life depend on competent and caring service. This pharmacy should give their employees the training they need to behave responsibly and/or hire more help! read more

Came in for diapers for dad and a father's day card..this really is only good for a quick stop they don't always carry what I'm looking for...I shop here from time to time for make up or cigarettes..that's about it..oh yeah and batteries. .lol I like the deals they run from time to time on the candy but since i am cutting chocolate out I wont be buying the 3 for 3 dollars milk duds that I loved so much...Last time i ate something like that it cost me 3,500 for 2 crowns and one fake tooth for a bridge...candy consumption got too expensive for me LOL read more

Pharmacy takes forever, very slow branch disappointed every time. I've waited for over 30 minutes in the drive thru

I am visiting my elderly mother in coconut creek Florida and she called the pharmacy tonight at 7:30pm. She was on hold for 15 minutes and we decided it Was time to hang up. I am glad it wasn't an emergency question. I Mentioned that we should go tomorrow and wait to ask the question in person. She said that you will wait forever there and then they will tell you that you need something and they can't answer the question. I am from New York and use CVS as a pharmacy and I have never ever been put oN hold. Unheard of. Never rude, never put off and never had this experience. Time to switch pHarmacies. Will do that tomorrow. Shame on them. read more

The pharmacy is the worst. I thought Www.walgreens was good. They were in Texas but not here. Numerous times my rx copay is wrong. This is after I give them my secondary insurance card. This bothers me because being on limited income, when I call to check the status and price of my Rx and I hear $85 it's pretty shocking. Especially before a payday. They have all the info on file. The latest issue is they failed to return my driver license. After picking up my rx with photo id, i then went on my way. Usually they put it in your package. I waited on the phone to renew a perscription for almost 20 minutes, which is understandable during these times. However, once I spoke with someone and asked a simple question, she put me back on hold. After another 15 minutes of waiting for an answer I hung up. I've heard the Walgreens Take Care Clinic mentioned once or twice in passing, but it wasn't until I woke up at 2am on a Saturday wanting to Van Gogh myself (ear infection) that I ever had the opportunity to go to one. I was able to make my appointment online in the middle of the night and the nurse did not take a walk-in that arrived just before me because she knew she had an upcoming appointment. I was taken in within 30 seconds of my appointment time that Sunday and seen by an extremely professional and kind ANP (Cheryl Thompson). She also helped me with some symptoms I'd been experiencing from quitting smoking recently during the visit and it was all covered under the same cost for being seen. Insurance covered most of my visit, but even without it, I would still have only paid about $90. My prescription was filled at the same location within 10 minutes, and everyone I had the pleasure of speaking with was honestly wonderful. While I hope I never get another illness that warrants a visit, I will definitely use this Take Care Clinic again --- probably before I bother with my "usual" Doctor's office. read more

This store don't even deserve one star !! I came in at 4:50 they scan my prescription and told me to be back in an hour which I did . I came back at 6 and to be told my prescription was never scan so I had to wait 10 more minutes. So I came back and still they didn't have my full order but worst of all the girl working there Florist is the worst !! Horrible attitude !! I was about to explain my situation and she said and I quote " are you going to pay or what ? I ain't got time for stories " and she turn around ! The pharmacy's employees only care about making a quick buck, I went to buy a medication prescribed by my doctor and when I called my insurance they just told me to show my card and the medicine would be discounted, I asked the lady employee for my medicine, she told me that it was over $200 and that wasn't cover by my insurance I tried showing her the card and she didn't want take it, once I asked to speak with the manager and ask for the corporate number she realized she was getting in trouble and passed me on to the other female employee, at that point I started calling the customer service number and the female employee started checking my insurance card in the system and told me that my insurance covered almost all the cost of my medicine , processed the sale and charge me the right amount, after I left, I called my doctor's office and asked them to change my future prescriptions to Costco pharmacy instead, I will advice anyone coming to this place for prescription drugs to go elsewhere or make sure they know your insurance covers the cost or partial cost of your medicine. read more

Highly unprofessional. They lost my mom's anti-inflammatory drug prescription at the pharmacy. Now my mom look like a chipmunk, and they didn't seem to mind. They told me they would send me a text when the drugs were ready to be picked up, but that obviously never happened. All they could say was sorry and suggest night cough medicine. read more
