Some of the pharmacy staff take it on themselves to 'gatekeep' COVID boosters despite the Virginia Dept of Health's Statewide Standing Order authorizing pharmacists to administer to adults consistent with the FDA indications. Wasted time registering and was denied, despite GETTING MEDS FOR THE FDA INDICATION FILLED AT THIS WALGREENS. CVS followed the guidance provided. read more

Well just ran in to get some snacks. Girl was so rude and disrespectful. Never experienced this at this location. So tired of these young people not doing their jobs and being kind. She threw my change on the counter and walked away. I never bitch and moan but this was uncalled for. read more

The staff is pleasant and helpful. I have learned not to pick up my medications right after their lunch break or at local quitting time as the drive through is very long. They do seem to be understaffed. read more

I have been using thus pharmacy for over 20 years and have never experienced any type of error or mistake. These folks are so pleasant at this store, don't rush you, and answer all your questions in just plain English so you are comfortable asking for clarification or asking another question. There is another closer Walgreens store but I am happy to go the extra distance for this location. read more

This Walgreens use to be great. It's horrible now! I can't ever get through on the phone, prescriptions aren't ready when the store says they will, the drive through is impossibly long, and the staff isn't friendly. I recently had pneumonia and spent 45 minutes on hold then eventually had to go up to the pharmacy to get them yo fill my prescriptions a half hour before they closed. Had I not gone up there, I definitely would have ended up hospitalized. read more

Well another drug store we don't frequent this store to often. We pop in when we are over in that part of Chester. It's a good size store with every thing you expect from a drug store. You know like the Pharmacy, candy, photo center and other stuff. I really can't say how the people that work here are because we just go through the cashier, and they have been friendly. I just left this Walgreens location after sitting there over an hour for my medication. I told them that I would wait for one of my prescriptions to be filled and they never let me know that it was filled. I finally got back in line only to find out that it had been filled and was sitting in the bin. That is not the worst part... As I was sitting there waiting the pharmacist (A man) was getting very snappy with the elderly customers in the drive thru. When the intercom was turned off the pharmacist was complaining about the customer to the people back there with him. After that, the young women in the back was starting to also get snarky with the customers in the drive-thru. One customer could not hear very well and the young woman actually got really short with her. I am sitting in the waiting area hearing all of this. The pharmacist was unprofessional so the young women started being very unprofessional also. I will be switching pharmacies!!! read more

Ok.I just got back from Walgreens.I thought I'd give them one more chance.I called them this morning to fill all my prescriptions.I asked to have them ready today.When I went to pick them up I went thru the drive thru because I had my dog with me.I have gone thru the drive thru most of the time that I pickup my medicines.But with the Covid-19 testing I wouldn't recommend going thru the drive thru.I was in line in the drive thru 30 minutes.They really need to have 1 line for the Covid-19 testing and 1 line for prescription pickup.After today I am definitely switching to another pharmacy. read more

Always busy and sound totally understaffed. Staff are frustrated and let you know they are very busy and there are just so many of us to do too much work. I'm sick and tired of this treatment from every drug store I go to. While Walgreens looks well run it is understaffed and the morale of their staff is terrible. Almost makes you want to use mail order for prescriptions. read more

This Walgreens had all of the right things that I need, expect for my favorite drugs. I mean, it says "green" in the name. This was my first time visiting one of these so I didn't know what to expect, but I expected better. At least like some quality cocaine or meth. So at first when I went into this Walgreens it was a new experience because I normally go to the one on Hopkins road but when I went in I met with the lady who help me with my passport photos I was in an urgent need of them however she help me out she was even nice enough to help me with my 7 months olds picture everything went great then she told me she was out of paper so she had somebody going to a different location to pick up the right paper she said they should be done within 30 to 45 minutes so I went all day now all this was around 12 o'clock in the afternoon and I return back to 7:00 PM and I met with another lady who works in the photo department who was very rude I had to speak to her then I asked her if I could pick up my photos she looked and then she could not find them so I just looked at her with a blank stare and she looked back at me with one and said well they're not here and I told her that the lady had explained to me someone was going to go get paper from a different store to print them she said well they didnt so then They are not here It was kind of rude I'm not saying that I need someone to bow down and kiss my feet but in all honestly that was probably the rudest Walgreens experience I've ever had I'm never going back to that Walgreens read more
