This Walgreens is located in the Park Road Shopping Plaza with one of the storefronts about five or so doors down from Harris Teeter. Inside, it's a little dim but they're well stocked with all the usual Walgreens stuff - cosmetics, personal care, snacks, over-the-counter, drinks and candy, greeting cards and in the back, a full service pharmacy. The young lady who helped me at the pharmacy desk (over the counter pseudoephedrine for my post-nasal drip, if you must know) was efficient and helpful after the queue. I received a text notification that my Rx was ready. I couldn't make it to the pharmacy due to record breaking snowfall. After the snow, I couldn't pick up my prescription because there were no plows. I received a text asking if I was still going to need my prescription. I replied yes and the automated message said that they'd hold my prescription until 2/11. I showed up on 2/10. While I was waiting at the counter for the staff to prepare their cash registers after coming back from lunch, one of the techs asked me my name and date of birth. I gave her the information. She said she didn't have anything for me and asked me what the prescription was for. She then told me that the medication had been returned to the shelves. She told me they could have it for me in 1.5 to 2 hours! Turns out that Walgreens automated system and the actual pharmacy doesn't synch up. In this situation I would have been only annoyed that I had traveled so far for no reason but it was the utter rudeness, dismissiveness, and extremely poor attitude of the cashier is why I'm giving this Walgreens a 1 star. And it's also why I drove straight to a CVS and transferred my prescription. Terrible customer service and the people don't care. read more

I always have a great experience coming to this Walgreens. It's always super clean, and all the employees are super friendly and awesome. It's always very well stocked with various things you could need. The pharmacists are always so friendly, answer all of your questions. This is located in parking road shopping so there are plenty of shops around and parking spaces. Never have an issue stopping by this location. read more

Took them 2 hours to put one vaccine. I was there waiting no one would acknowledge me. They are the worse

Please get a self check out. Cashiers are usually single by themselves. They always have a line takes entirely too long to just check out for a drink Customer Service should not be an option. read more

Auto refilled my prescription while I was out of the country and that was the last refill for this med. When I was unable to pick it up they put the meds back. Now they will not fill the prescription as they say I have no refills left but I never picked up the last fill. read more

I shop at 3 different Walgreens. Two that are close to my home and this one at Park Rd Shopping Center near my work. This store, unlike the other 2 Walgreens, cannot keep its COLD bottled water cooler stocked. There are literally 10-12 shelves that are 4 feet wide solely dedicated to bottled water. Today there were probably 6 bottles in maybe 3 rows. Absolutely ridiculous! This is common at this Walgreens. It's not a supply issue, it's lack of employee motivation and poor management. read more

A pharmacy isn't supposed to be fun to visit, but you should at least be able to count on getting the medications you need without feeling like the staff are trying to engage in some sort of power struggle with you. Go to the local pharmacy on 7th street! They'll treat you like a human being. My partner and I have each gone to this Walgreens dozens of times, and we leave seething every time. Most recently, they made me wait in the store for an hour - after I'd gotten a notification that it was ready several hours before I went - only to be told they couldn't fill it because they couldn't figure out how to use a coupon. (The other pharmacy I mentioned was immediately like "oh yeah, I'm familiar with this one. I'll get it ready right away." And it was cheaper.) There have been countless times when they've made it extremely difficult for my fiancé to get medication that's literally a matter of life or death. They are consistently rude to him and treat him like it's his fault for not being able to predict the unpredictable. This is a despicable excuse for healthcare. read more

My review has got to do with my experience in the pharmacy section and in particular dealing with Ariel. If the reader ever gets a chance to deal with Ariel, please, don't; politely ask for another staff member. This woman asked my father; the manliest man I've known, "are you pregnant?". I know funny, but I'm sure she was being sarcastic. She had an attitude that she never showed to others in this store. Otherwise, the location of this store is great. Plenty of parking and remainder of the staff members are fine to deal with. read more

This is the worst Walgreens. I love all my other Walgreens locations and never have problems. I live right next to this park road location and I am done shopping here. I've had photos I paid for and had developed sitting there for weeks because they lost my contact info. I had another incident after I shipped a package for my business through their shipping area. Apparently they didn't try to scan the item until after I left and for whatever the reason they couldn't get it to scan. They had my information right on the box and never called to tell me. I called them multiple times and they kept saying they didn't have the package. I finally went down there and saw it sitting right on the counter! Today I placed an online pickup order through the Walgreens app and was charged a much higher price than what the app had charged me. The only way to figure it out was to call them. After being placed on hold for over 15 minutes and explaining to multiple employees my question about the price difference they finally figured out that Walgreens coupons don't apply for pick up orders! Which is not mentioned anywhere on the website and doesn't match what the website functions allow. Online it shows my order as a pick up with all my coupons added and the accurate balance. I was so excited Walgreens bought out this old rite aid location but every time I go here for something, there's a problem. Cashiers are slow and don't pay attention to us when we are in the store either. read more
