This Walgreens is pretty much like any other Walgreens I've ever been to. I shopped a photo department sale and was very disappointed with the quality of the product. It was advertised as a "photo square" and in reality, it was just a printed picture with a cheap plastic frame that fell into pieces. When I had an issue with this photo order, they were able to refund my money without question. I did appreciate that excellent customer service. I recently discovered that they are also a drop off location for Fed Ex which is very convenient for me. I've lived in the area for years and had no idea. They really need to have a sign that advertises that service. They have the same sales as other Walgreens, and I make sure to stock up on their detergent sales when they roll around to save some cash. I have never used this pharmacy for my medication because I don't like that they don't have a drive thru pharmacy. There isn't a lot of close parking in the parking lot, and I find having to park and walk in in order to pick up my medications is just too much of a hassle to get it filled at this Walgreens. This Walgreens could have been any Walgreens. Once you're through the door, the layout and the merchandise is the same as any other. The store is tidy and the cashier greeted me when I entered. A quick pass down a personal care aisle and another down the coolers to get a drink to go with my new pills, and I was back at the register. Easy and quick. I've been here through drive thru to get some medications and never had to wait long. They've always been pretty friendly too and good at answering questions. One flaw about this location is that it can be tough to get in and out of. Sometimes I have to do a U turn when I exit this place. read more

Trying to get anyone besides Clive to help you in this pharmacy is like pulling teeth. The other pharmacist is rude and completely unhelpful every time I'm there. Never has the medicine ready, even at the time he tells you to come back. My father has about a dozen prescriptions there and I think he enjoys getting him confused and me angry. We are moving all to Canon as soon as I can call all of his doctors and have them moved as he refused to transfer them for me. Don't use this place if you can help it. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever! They NEVER have my prescriptions and have to order them. Which takes anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks. If they are out they will not call it in to another location. I just had a migraine pen filled after 4 days they said they had it in. They notified me it was in, but upon arrival they said their refrigerator had stopped working so they didn't have it!! Wouldn't even call it in to another store. Told me to do it. They should have notified me that the medication was spoiled and made every effort to have it filled. They even asked "do you need it"?!!! Don't go here for COVID Booster unless you want to waste hours! We had 3 family members and 3 appointments. The slowest lady ever was keying in the info it took her 30 minutes- no exaggeration- to just get our basic info in the system. We sat to wait for pharmacist and then they handed us the medical history form that was already completed online as the system did not populate it for them. Wish I had seen the reviews before making this appt because 10 months ago someone had similar experience and obviously no improvements have been made. Finally went up to the counter to inquire about how much longer it would be and the lady seemed surprised to see me. I had been sitting in plain view the entire time. +Had to buy some clindamycin (10 tabs) for a dental procedure on 9/21/20. WALGREENS charged me $26.00 for it. Went to Harris Teeter today and filled another clindamycin (20 tabs) today and the charge was $5.50. I told the HT pharmacist. He said he just used the normal medicare code for pricing. It stinks when you drop off a script and told 30 minutes- and come back in 45 min and the script isn't filled. I sit here and continue to wait and my script is still not being filled.... you want to know why ? Because they are too busy giving Flu shots! Really, can you focus on your primary business model instead of the side hustle? Or at minimum wait on customers in the order they come in. They treat all of their customers like they're stupid, they're unapologetic even when they are in the wrong. They make you feel bad for doing things that they told you to do. They never keep your medication in stock and that's somehow your fault. None of these people care. There is some serious malpractice going on when it comes to withholding meds. read more

Every time I come to this pharmacy, the drive through takes a ridiculous amount of time. Today I spent literally ten minutes in my car just waiting to give my name to pick up two prescriptions. Of course, after fifteen minutes, only one was available. No consideration of your time, which is limited at lunch hour. read more

Amazing customer service!! My car broke down at the busy intersection in front of this walgreens location, and a friend and I pushed the car into the parking lot. The store was already closed, but there was a man working outside who immediately went in and got the manager when I approached him for assistance. The manager came out, and I asked him if he would mind if I left my car overnight as it was late, and I honestly wasn't sure what I was going to do, b/c I really didn't know what was wrong with it. He and I discussed the battery, etc for a bit, and he agreed to allow me to leave it there overnight. Now-my car is very old, very ugly-paint chipping, you name it. It really isn't the greatest sight to have in front of your store, but by some magic he agreed. I am very grateful for that as the tow would've cost me over $100 to get it back to Rock Hill where I live. The next day I went in to see if the car parked beside mine was owned by an employee, and it was. This employee came outside and had no problem moving her car to allow a friend of mine to move his in closer to mine. (We had to charge the battery with his for a good 30 minutes before I could leave.) This walgreens is staffed by truly wonderful people who I feel honestly care about their customers and their well-being. Thank you!!! read more

This has been the slowest pharmacy service I have ever received. I left the doctor at 10:15, doctor called the prescription in immediately. I stopped by on my way home. I checked in at 10:20 to let the pharmacists know I was here. I was told they would fill and call me when ready. I browsed the store and at 11 I came back only for them to tell me they hadn't received the prescription. I called the doctor and they had a time stamp on the call at 10:20 for the prescription fill. I spoke to the pharmacists and told them it was called in over 30 minutes ago. They never checked, never informed me of what was going on. I have now been to the counter 3 different times and have waited almost an hour for my prescription, that was a simple 3 pills for an upcoming trip. Worst experience ever and won't be back to give my business here. What a waste of time. read more

I came to this location about a week ago. I was looking for two specific items. I asked 2 of the people that work there where to find these items and they just pointed off into the distance. I knew they were probably a little busy standing at the counter doing nothing so I decided to walk around and try to find the item I was looking for. After looking I still couldn't find it so I asked another employee. I cannot for the life of me remember her name but she was so helpful. She went out of her way and physically pulled the item off the shelf and handed it to me. I do really appreciate her going the extra mile to not just point in the direction but to take me there and point it out personally. I used online ordering to have pictures printed. When I picked them up today they were by far the worst quality photos I've ever had made. The color is faded and the photos are blurry. I have had copies of these same photos made at cvs and they turned out great. I will not be using Walgreens photo lab again read more

Two weeks ago now I got a text telling me my prescription was ready so I went in to the pharmacy only to be told they couldn't give it to me until the following week because it is a controlled substance. Which I totally get there are laws and policies about that's not the issue. The issue is my doctor had just sent it in and the pharmacy messed up by sending me a text telling me I could come in and get a prescription. Because of that mess up I took time out of my workday to go pick it up and it was basically a waste of gas and time. But at this point I wasn't even that annoyed. This past week, one week later, I go in because they say it will be ready by then and I have to come back on Saturday they say. I went back two days ago on Saturday and they told me I had to wait until Monday to get it in because they didn't put in an order so that they would have enough to be able to refill the prescription on Saturday. So at that point I'm definitely annoyed. It is now Monday and I just called and they told me it won't be ready until tomorrow. Not only will it not be ready until tomorrow but I should call back at the same time around 1030 and ask if it's there to make sure. WHY EVEN HAVE THE TEXT SERVICE IF YOURE GOING TO MAKE IT SO INCONVENIENT??! When I worked customer service we had to write notes in each customers file. That way the next person that was working and on duty that had to deal with the customer (either over the phone or in person) could see the most recent notes on their file and be updated and know what was going on. They clearly do not do this here. They don't even tell the person they are handing the phone to what's going on so you have to repeat your story 4x in two weeks. Very frustrated. read more
