This is the slowest Walgreens around. They only open one lane and now they close the pharmacy for lunch so it's even slower and less efficient than ever! They have also mixed up and or can't find more than one prescription of mine. Even after getting a text it's ready they can't seem to find it... they also often don't have the medicine ordered ...they need to get it together! read more

I have been using the Cary IL Walgreens for 15 years mostly with the same medications. In the last 9 months this Walgreens has under filled my expensive prescriptions incorrectly. If I accept this error and go back to get the balance they tell me it is not covered by my insurance and want to charge over $600 for an error they made. After being told 4 months in a row they have fixed the issue it happened again on the 5th month. This is total incompetence. Any pharmacy in the area is better than this read more

If you are looking for a placebo or want a few days to moodily ponder whether or not to take a prescription in a boring indie film, this is the pharmacy for you. If you have an actual illness in need of actual medicine you will surely succumb before these folks will fill your prescription. I like to think it takes a week to fill a common antibiotic prescription because they fly a brave and dedicated pharmacist into a far away rainforest to harvest ancient plants needed to brew each ingredient in a painstaking, but spiritually rewarding process. If that's not what's happening then they are kind of buttholes for taking so long. Otherwise the employees are friendly, and the store is clean and well stocked at all times. read more

The Walgreens in Cary is the worst pharmacy... it is quicker to drive to a Walgreens a half hour away and bring your prescriptions there.

This Walgreens is one of the worst in this area. Since this is less than a mile from our home, we frequent the location. The manager of this location is downright rude to customers. I've seen her belittling a customer trying to purchase formula with her WIC card (how do I know it was WIC? Bc the manager was loudly making a big deal out of it in front of many customers). 1-Hour Photo is not 1 hour at this location (despite what your confirmation email states) and it's clearly an inconvenience to place orders as the manager was very annoyed we came to pick up our photo order 3 HOURS after it was supposed to be ready, and it still wasn't ready. We will go to CVS in Fox River Grove. read more

I've never written a review but this place deserves one. If I could give negative stars I would. I just moved to the area and transferred all of my scripts here, and i've never experienced a pharmacy as disorganized as this one. I've never been able to pick up my medicine without a wait. I had to wait 42 minutes exactly to pick up my medicine today. If you call to talk to someone, same thing. You're lucky if they even pick up the phone. This place is a major yikes. read more

This pharmacy is a nightmare! I wish I could give this place negative stars. Natalie, the manager of the pharmacy, was incredibly rude and condescending to me over the phone 2 days ago. I told her I was in customer service, and I would never treat a person so rudely, and I just had a simple request. I've had issues in the past with this location dispensing expired medication to me as well, so look at your expire date on all meds filled from this Walgreens. It is sad that corporate Walgreens hasn't revamped the management and upped the inventory control at this Cary, IL location. I live in this town, and will never step foot in it again. read more

The pharmacy staff is great! We moved my dad from Florida a couple months ago and transferred his prescriptions to this pharmacy. They have been so helpful and friendly throughout the transition. Not only do they know my dad by name but my sister and I also. They've answered questions, contacted the doctor for us and even offered to drop off a prescription to my dad (he lives close by). I can't say enough about the superb customer service they provide! read more

Worst Walgreens I've ever used. The pharmacy will mess up your prescription on a regular basis (a very simple, frequently used medicine). I've reported incorrect medicines and mislabeling issues, but they don't seem to care. I've started using a pharmacy in a nearby town and the difference is amazing. Trust me, drive an extra 5 minutes and use another location. read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. The head pharmacist doesn't care and is incredibly rude and condescending, they are a total mess, employees aren't managed well, their inventory control is awful. Their customer service is awful, partly because their inventory control is awful, and if they are out of a prescription, they should be able to tell a patient that at time of drop off, not waiting for four hours for the customer to call back to check. Even the staff at my MD's office has nothing good to say about this location and this pharmacist. It is incredible that a company like Walgreens would allow this to happen. read more
