I'd been struggling to find a decent hairdresser in Berlin that didn't cost a fortune so I made an appointment when I came home to see my mother. My hair was in horrible condition from trying different horrible salons and finally giving up and trying to dye my hair myself. I really appreciated the honesty from Wendy and her suggestions for what I could do with it without completely destroying it with bleach. I left happy and with much better looking hair. Corrective color is not cheap, but I don't want someone doing a cheap job on my hair again. The cost was reasonable and much cheaper than I paid for professional color in other US and European cities. I'll make an appointment every time I come home to see my family now.

My cousin needed to get some stuff for herself and her hubby as well so we stopped by after lunch on our first day to get it out of the way. They have pretty much everything you'd find at any other beauty supply store from nail polish to wigs, braiding hair and satin bonnets. I found a twisting sponge that I picked up for my son and I needed some braiding hair to add to my crochet style that I rushed to complete before our trip. The owner is nice and I believe they have someone on sight to help you pick out a wig so you're not left to your own devices. One note to anyvm female with a pulse; it's a guarantee that walking past that barbershop next door will have you inundated with ogling, comments and a feeling of uneasiness. Just an FYI.

What they are telling you on automated services doesn't equal what they do in practice. I understand running out of product, but 4 trips here to fill 1 prescription is sad. Walgreens said they would contact Dr to get the refill extended. Never happened. After I called Dr, text said ready- trip #1, not ready! Husband went back a second time, he got 5 of 90 and no one told him it was partial fill and they were out of stock. No follow up to get the remaining order. I had to call in another refill on weekend, requested Mon at 9am because I would be out by Tuesday morning. Went at 1:20pm, they said come back, causing over 4 trips to get a single 90 day script filled. Where is the inventory management? Customer service? If you don't have to use this pharmacy, I wouldn't!

On Wednesday, June 11th, I made the nearly 50 mile round trip to pick up my prescription which was for 9 days of prednisone. When I arrived, I was told repeatedly by the pharmacy tech that the cost for the pickup was $54, despite the fact I had two insurances. After telling them twice that could not possibly be correct, and them insisting it was, I told them I didn't want the script and left. When I got home, I told my wife about my interaction and that I left without the prescription. My wife called and asked for a supervisor. After the supervisor looked it up, it turns out the cost was $0.54 cents. She asked if I could still pick it up and they said yes. Today June 12th, I made the nearly 50 mile trip again, only to get home and discover that the instructions on the label complied with my Dr.'s instruction to take the medication for 9 days but the bottle only contained enough medication for 5 days. The number of pills identified on the label did not match the number of pills in the bottle. Now, after 2 days of attempts to get the medication and 96 miles of driving, I'm just going to be done with them. I have no other choice but to call my Dr., ask for another prescription for 4 days and have it called into any pharmacy in Camden EXCEPT this one.
