This is a convenience store, gas station, grill dive that produces one of the beefiest (at least a half pound!) burgers cooked to a wonderful perfection!! And, it is a bargain at that! You can get a burger basket with raw fries and a scoop of coleslaw for less than five dollars- and literally its big enough for two! My turn next. immediately asked for my ID, which is fine, but being extremely rude. I then said after I paid "ya know I hate my job too" to which then Tia decided it was a good idea to rip the beverage and the bag out of my hand, causing the bag to then rip. Then telling me she could decline my sale. That I already purchased. If customers aren't your thing, then don't be the face of the store Tia. I filed a complaint and hope you figure it out.

Corp. Office! My…read morefamily and I decided we would go to Columbia for the day. My 17 year old grandson decided he was driving his car and he didn't realize he needed gas and this is where all the issues started. So we pull in and he is at pump 11 and I put up ahead of him at pump 3. I didn't get gas because I never use any of refuels gas because it is just way too expensive. So I went to pump 11 and tried 4 times to use my debit card and each time it wouldn't work. So I went in and paid with the cashier $20 thinking everything would be okay. Well that is a BIG NO. Things only went downhill the pump never worked, not once we tried multiple times I'm sure if the camera footage was pulled up it would be seen. So I went into the store and let the cashier know that the pump still wasn't working. There was a black lady and an older lady (white lady) and the manager might be in her 40-50's (white with longer greyish hair). I told them I was having my grandson move forward to the next pump. I moved my truck to the parking lot in front of the corner cameras next to the drive thru. Well the manager claimed she moved the $20 from pump 11 to the next pump where he was pulled up to. Well I went to use that pump and STILL NOTHING like what is the issue. So I went back in and this is where things went south and we had to call the camden police to come. We called. the police, not the store. I went into the store and told them the pump still isn't working now mind you I had paid with my debit card inside the store and had my receipt they gave me. So I gave it to the black lady and she said it's not even showing in the system WHAT do you mean? So the old white lady looks back and forth at the computer and prints a receipt out and tells me I pumped $6.51 NO I SURELY DIDN'T then tells me I pumped $20 on the second pump NO I SURELY DIDN'T. She told me yes I did. I said how when the pump wasn't even allowing me to do anything and nothing literally was coming out of the pump she accused me saying that I did! I told her I wanted my money back and they could look at the cameras and see I hadn't gotten gas as many times as I was trying to get that pump to work. She told me to call the corp. office if I wanted my money back they don't do that WHAT? By this time my daughter, who is the mother of my grandson came in and wanted to know what was going on because we had already been at that store for over 35 mins about the gas situation. My daughter by this point requested to speak to the manager and the older lady was going back and forth between Refuel and McD's that is connected and the first time the manager told the older lady to tell us to contact the corp office about the issues with the $20! So my daughter and I asked repeatedly to either refund the $20 or we were calling the Camden police because that is literally stealing from the customers. Well my daughter wanted to speak to the manager and the older lady said she is having lunch. My daughter, being upset, already told the older lady she didn't care that the manager was having lunch. This situation needed to be fixed because no one is just giving $20 and walking away. So the older lady takes us to the McD's side and sure enough that was the same person that set the pump the second time for me so she knew there was an issue. As we tried to explain to her that we didn't get the gas we were being told we got she let us know this was her words "NOT MY PROBLEM" contact corp. office! The manager's husband/bff was sitting across from her and he giggled which was unprofessional and her response was also nasty. So my daughter told her that we were calling the police and she (manager) said I don't care. So we called the police. It took them a little bit to get there because they were on the other side of town. I am attaching a video and photos. I'm pretty sure this type of behavior makes a company look bad. So when the officer got there then the manager comes out and I had my back to her and took the photo of her her because I couldn't remember what her name tag said but figured the photo would help she started saying all kinds of stuff I just told her I'm not the one to be talking to like that I would press charges on her. So after my daughter spoke with the officer he went and started talking to the manager as she greeted him at the front of the store and told him that we got the gas and that she wanted all of us trespassed! That's right I already don't use any of the refuels. I drive a couple of times a month and drive to Florence to get gas for several years and so do the members of my family. So by her saying that she made for very bad business it just proved why I don't buy gas or anything else from Refuel. So the officer asked me do I have the receipt I did and showed him and he asked if I had the debit card that I used I said yes so upon looking they gave me someone else's receipt! But didn't like me disputing the discrepancy. I don't recommend them at all.

I tried the boiled peanuts in attempt to be more "Southern " and it's a one a done for me. I'm sure they are delicious but I prefer my peanuts encased in chocolatey goodness . So if you are a boiled peanuts connoisseur, they have regular and Cajun if you are feeling a little spicy. And they also have chicken and hotdogs and some hamburger options.. Next time you need gas, check it out.. Oh and they even told me how to split the peanut at the seam because I was making a complete mess to eat one peanut. I think I am at level one Planters peanuts level skill set, and I'm good with that.
