A lady with black hair (Svetlana?) that I spoke to at the drive thru window said they would call my doctor's office for authorization to fill my script. I asked her if they were going to make the call THAT DAY. She said yes. Of course, when I checked with my doctor's office in Georgia the next day, they had not been called. The physician's assistant said if they called her right then, she'd be by the phone to authorize it. So, I called CVS and spoke to a pharmacy employee named Britney (sp?). Not only did she sound pissed off to be on the phone, but she was also completely void of any phone etiquette and made it clear I was wasting her time. When I told her my doctor's office said they were ready for the call, she said, "THEY have to call US." Luckily, the physician's assistant was willing to do that, and I got my prescription filled. It's not like I was trying to get a big bottle of morphine or something. I needed an antidepressant that I can't function without. I'm tired of people in customer service thinking they can treat me any which way they want. Somebody, please give the folks in the pharmacy a refresher course on being decent human beings.

At the moment I was on the app looking at the next available appointment which was 2:30pm. I had no problem making the appointment but I didn't want to drag him back out if they couldn't proceed with the testing. If this location does not provide the test, why does your system allow customers to schedule appointments there? This caused unnecessary inconvenience and confusion. I looked up another store and called to avoid the same issue. I will find a new pharmacy because there was zero compassion or clarity while I'm standing there with a sick child.

It may be a lack of proficiency from the rest of the staff as well. At the end of the day, i can confirm that the team at the front counter didn't even check online to see if my wife was in the system. They took a printout, confirmed her name wasn't there and treated her like someone new. I addressed the leadership and they did NOTHING for us. I had to confirm that she was referring to me. When I addressed the issue, she attempted to justify calling me "whoever." That is dismissive and unprofessional, especially in a healthcare setting. New systems do not replace basic customer service, courtesy, or respect. Staff should properly address patients and wear identification. Please do better.

They did not see the prescription in their system, went back just before closing and they still did not see it and seemed not to care. The prescription was for a common antibiotic and I showed them in MyChart that the doctor had input it as well as the doctor's name. No concern they would not do anything. I asked for one pill for the evening as prescribed and the problem could be resolved in the morning. No to doing that. Had it been a narcotic they certainly should not do it but no excuse for not doing it with all the information available. CVS culture is not what it use to be.

My youngest daughter was diagnosed with a severe UTI less than ten minutes before we arrived at your pharmacy. As soon as we entered, she frantically asked where the restroom was. (She had JUST went before we left the doctors office) The staff member behind the counter politely told us there wasn't one available for customers. I understood -- she was simply following policy, and I didn't argue. I told my daughter I didn't know what to tell her wasn't being mean I was being honest with her. She'd have to hold it. I was overwhelmed but I understand policy. While I was speaking with the pharmacist about our prescription, my daughter was still struggling to hold it. The pharmacist said it would take a few minutes and mentioned we could go across the street to find a restroom while we waited. Unfortunately, in that short exchange, my daughter had another accident right there in the store. I was overwhelmed, embarrassed for her, and trying to hold it together. I told my daughter we'd have to go sit in the car since I didn't have another change of clothes, this is when the pharmacist told us we could go across the street as it would take a few minutes so I went to Food Lion so she could clean up. Thankfully, they allowed us to use their restroom, and I was able to dry her clothes under a hand dryer so she wouldn't develop a rash. After about ten to twelve minutes, we came back to pick up her prescription. A different employee asked for our name, which I gave, and while waiting, I overheard staff chatting casually. In the middle of that unrelated conversation, one staff member suddenly said loudly, "Hey -- as a mom in Kershaw County, don't you know where all the restrooms are?" Another replied, "Oh yes, I do -- they always seem to go right when you sit down somewhere." That comment was clearly about me and my daughter. It was cruel, condescending, and completely uncalled for. It wasn't about policy -- I accepted your restroom policy without complaint. What I can't accept is being mocked and mom-shamed by employees for something that was already distressing and humiliating. We're new to Camden -- just over six months here -- and I've only used your pharmacy a handful of times, preferring to support local businesses. We haven't had a chance to explore this town and I still use GPS to go anywhere.... I had planned to transfer all of our prescriptions here from my home delivery service.
