When trying to put in your loyalty number at the pump to get your discount on fuel for being part of the inner circle, it does not work. The fountain drinks are decent but beware on what they charge you. It is supposed to be $1.07 for a new one and $.74 for a refill. The lady charged me $1.07 for my refill. When I pointed that out she said that's not how it is. After scanning the barcode on my inner circle account I showed her right on the Circle K inner circle advertisement the price is supposed to be $.89. She would not change it, I gave her two dollars, she gave me $.75 back. So she charged me $1.25 for a drink she said was $1.07 that's supposed to be $.74. It's only a few cents., $.33 difference, not including the $.18 she stole from me, but if she does that all day, she could pocket herself a good amount of cash. Beware of this store.

It still serves it's function for bare necessities, but that's literally it. It's a little cleaner inside, but has less to offer. Either way, it's your standard fare convenient store in a rural area, so I'm glad it's there.

I had the Chorzio breakfast taco that I paired with their habanero salsa and the bacon on paired with the green salsa. I only needed one but I ate the second with no regrets. But then can you ever go wrong with a small, hole-in-the-wall taco place adorned with Mexican flags? The chorizo packed a kick, but it was a good slow burn. Spicy and delicious. The bacon was a little more laid back but equally delicious. And with that, I'm full for the rest of the day. But I'll probably still stop on my way back to Austin.

When we visited her this was the 1st place on our list. The restaurant is right next to convenience store next door. The place is quaint and cozy. I loved the plaid table cloth and decorative coke signage. I ordered the catfish plate and it came with either hush puppies or french fries. The batter was rather bland, which was unusual per my friend's comment. She also found out that the usual chef was not working at that time. Overall, the service was alright, and the place was clean. The food could be better for our visit.

It's a good place to stop if you're on a road trip and need to fill up on gas and get some snacks for the road I guess...

They are currently selling the limited edition cup of the cumbia queen. On Etsy the cup sells for about $20 and eBay for $14.99. At Stripes, the same collectible cup costs $3.99+tax. The store is a treasure trove of snacks, beverages, and well, stuff. I enjoyed just browsing around. For those of you who've never heard of Stripes, it's a chain of convenience stores located in Texas and Louisiana.
