I've been a Walgreens customer for over 20 years. My parents were Walgreens customers before me, and this Walgreens has finally made me call it quits. Last week I stood in line inside to get a prescription. I was first in line (someone at the counter) and waited 35 minutes while staff tried to work out that person's insurance issue. At one point they had 3 staff looking at the computer. Instead of pulling her aside to the consult window they ignored the line that disappeared around the corner. When I was finally seen the prescription that had been sent at 10am (an inhaler and z-pack) still wasn't ready (it was 6pm). Now I'm in the drive through line. I have been here for a full hour. I've been sitting AT THE WINDOW for 10 minutes. No one has even looked in my direction. Yesterday I came to pick up this prescription and the pharmacy was just randomly closed, without explanation, on a Tuesday. Update: At the window without acknowledgment of any sort for 12:00. It would have continued but I laid on the horn when I realized I'd been sitting in line so long I WAS STARTING TO BLEED THROUGH MY TAMPON! The irony of the sign on their window asking their staff to be treated with kindness and respect and they're making us sit for an hour in our own blood... I would give a no star. What a shame that any pharmacy can get away with one rotten egg. I had a script there that was crucial I have filled. The hospital sent it over on a Fri night. So sat I waited about 9:30 to see if it was filled. This nasty Rebecca tells me they dont have it but it will be there Monday! I say I cant wait till Monday this is an emergency I take it right away, Again with a nasty very unprofessional attitude this person comes back with~oh well like I said u can get it Monday. Well where the heck else can I get it. Again she response was unprofessional~Monday it will be here. click. I ended up going to the Emergency pharmacy which also waited a long time getting the script from her. That I had to call again to tell them this is crucial for me. Please send the script to the er pharmacy!! Shame on her. From 9:30 till 11;30 is unacceptable. read more

This pharmacy is TERRIBLE!! I don't do reviews to be honest but had to warn people about this place. My doc called my script in , business as usual right ? WRONG, It started with walking into a long line of unhappy customers,, Then an unorganized worker just showing up to work late at 5 pm couldn't tell me why my script wasn't ready at 3 like it was supposed to be , That's where it got really bad,,, This funny little man pokes his head out from around the corner and says with a smirk on his face ,, Your doctors script is invalid. I'm like , huh ? Yeah well it went on for hours , Round and round My doctor called him , Him being a rude , robotic, condescending , just plain jerk ,,, Obviously getting off on it , Literally LOOKING for any reason he could NOT to give me my script of ten years . It literally made me feel like a degenerate! Thanks pal !! Anyhow, Osco filled it in ten minutes after that , thank goodness there's humans in Billings there . read more

My husband and I got rapid covid tests at the drive thru pharmacy of Walgreens in Billings, Mt. located at 1602 Main St.. Mistakenly I had provided an incorrect email when I registered for an appointment online. This resulted in us not receiving our test results via email. When I tried to call the pharmacy to rectify the error, I was put on hold forever until someone finally answered. Pharmacy staff found our test results online however could not reveal the results to us and said they were not able to correct the email address. I was given a number to call that they indicated was the lab that processed the tests. When I called the number it was not the lab, but a clinical information line of some sort, and they could not help me. When I called the Walgreens location back, Pharmacy would not answer the phone. As a result, I was unable to receive the rapid test results. No one in the Pharmacy was willing to help. I This Walgreen location in Billings does not know the meaning of customer service at all. My impression of Walgreens is not good. I will not go back. read more

Okay,I have to use Wallgreens pharmacy for Insurance reasons otherwise, We would be long gone. The Walgreens pharmacy at Stroh ranch in Parker Colorado is the worst pharmacy we have ever dealt with. I just had surgery at the mayo clinic and asked my doctor to call in my pain meds. They did right away. I called the Pharmacy to check and see if it was ready around 12:00 noon, They told me it was out of stock and wouldn't be ready until Monday. I asked, can you transfer my prescription to another Pharmacy that has it? NO they said. They transferred my phone call to the dispensing center . I was on hold for 25 minutes then the call ended. They hung up on me. It's now 1:45. I am on hold until their meal breaks end. I need to find my own supply of meds at some Walgreens and hope the surgeon can call it in to that Walgreens. ( If the surgon hasn't left for the weekend.) Minnesota is an hour ahead. There must be a better system than this!!! Does anyone out there know of a good Walgreens pharmacy in my area. Corporate companies need to take away the contracts with wallgreens. Good lord, people shouldn't have to go through this especially in pain. its now 2:00. 3:00 in Minnesota. I hope i make it. What good is pain meds if you cant get them. read more

The customer service want as warm and friendly like other locations. Store wise same large variety of meds, cosmetics, and all those things that back in the day you found in a drug store. Hey maybe I hit it on a bad day. But the chain is my go to drug store read more

Worst pharmacy I've been to. Had an antibiotic that needed to be filled for an infection, they already had the prescription for 2 hours, told me it would take another 2 hours to fill. In my experience of filling prescriptions, it shouldn't take even close to this long. I had to take two doses of the antibiotic that day, so I transferred to another pharmacy that doesn't take 4 hours to fill a prescription for 20 tablets. Ridiculous. Need to figure out a better workflow. read more

Worst customer service ever! I went in to fill a prescription and they added several other items to the order. They would not take the items back and would not admit their mistake. I called customer service and was treated very rudely. CVS in Billings heights has a very caring and knowledgeable staff. I recommend staying as far away from Walgreens as possible. They are very rude, and don't care about their customers. read more

The pharmacy is very busy but the staff is very welcoming and apologetic if there is a delay. They have gone above and beyond to help my get last minute emergency prescriptions for my son. Sure I may have to wait more then I'd like but seeing how hard the staff is working buzzing around gives me peace of mind that they are working very hard to help customers as quickly and efficiently as possible. It's not the staffs fault for being busy so I look at the perspective on how they handle it and treat customers during this time. For that I give them 5 stars. read more

In general, I have been very happy with Walgreens. However today I had an experience which makes me never want to go back there. I went in to pick up my granddaughters prescription - which her mother had been told would be ready in 15 minutes and they would call her. This was 3 hours later. The pharmacy tech was incredibly condescending and rude - telling me the pharmacist was at lunch and I "should have looked at the door". When I mentioned the prescription should have been ready at 10:30 she replied it was done but the pharmacist had to mix it - zero apology for not calling as promised or that she was unable to fill it. Instead she went on further to say in a very rude manner that " I need to keep my pharmacist fed and happy to keep my job". Honestly, I am not sure how that was needed or appropriate, and there was not an ounce of apology or recognition this was the 2nd time someone had tried to retrieve the same prescription. I am not normally upset by rude behavior but it was the smug condescending tone that caught me off-guard. I have been a loyal customer since this store opened but will consider moving to a new pharmacy (plenty of options in a 2 mile radius). read more

I was an out of towner that needed a prescription refilled. I was there7/28/18 at about 2:30 p.m. The young lady pharmacist went above and beyond helping me get what I needed !! She had it filled in minutes after my call !! I can't remember her name, but she deserves a HUGE THANK YOU !!! I just wish they were all as efficient, professional, helpful and friendly as she was !!
