My original appointment was rescheduled with another technician without asking me. I asked my friend and she told me that that particular lash tech was good also. So I didn't make it a big deal. Then the day before my appointment, I received another text telling me my appointment was rescheduled, again, with Another lash tech and the appointment would have to be pushed back half hour. No discount offered. Again, I was ok with it and tried Not to be "Karen." I was still looking forward to it. But then... I arrived on time. The lash tech "Tori" was 17 minutes late. She did not apologize nor being friendly. She led me to her room and we brief discussed what I would like to have. When it was done, I gave her a generous cash tip like how I usually do for cosmetics techs/stylist. She did NOT thank me at all and took it as if it was part of the payment. Like, she EXPECTS people to just give her that kind of money. LOL. Then, when I went home and looked close, she left MANY Glue lumps all over the lash and they looked as if I got lice on my lash! Just AWFUL!! My daughter saw me and asked me how much I paid for it? When I told her the charge and the tip thing, she laughed and told me I was being way over charged with the amount of lash she put on my eyes even for just Classic set. It is certainly awful to feel that I overpaid some rude lash tech plus tips for ugly lashes... I am sure other ladies there are nice but be aware of "Tori". DO NOT USE HER!

What a wonderful experience…read more I've had what I'd describe as a subtle raised sun spot (semi wart) on my chest for many years, not sure exactly how long. Since it was benign and not too large like skin tags/warts typically are, I didn't give it much thought. But finally decided to see if it could be removed without scarring. Looked online and there weren't many places that focus on that type of procedures with a lot of reviews, but ultimately choose Dr. Bartels, because there were a couple reviews on Google (all 5 star), conveniently located, and good website/contact form. Reached out asking for details and heard back with answers to my initial questions as well as scheduling an appointment. They noted, if the consultation was successful they can do the procedure at the same time, which I opted for. It's located at a complex of offices that can be a little confusing but they provided detailed instructions prior so didn't run into any issues. Arrived and was greeted right away. Completed the paper work, and then immediately was greeted by Dr. Bartel and his registered nurse Ms. Dozois. Like the coordinator Katherine, they were all very friendly and welcoming. Answered some initial questions with Ms. Dozois and then was quickly seen by Dr. Bartels. who confirmed I was good candidate, and after light numbing agent started the procedure. The initial shot was virtually painless, and due to the location felt nothing doing the procedure which was done in under 10 minutes. While I wasn't nervous at all, I didn't expect it to be so easy, which was a great surprise. The doctor and staff all have a great bed side manor and we chatted after about post procedure steps including an ointment included and scheduling a followup appointment. The process of course is not cheap, especially if you have multiple items needing to be removed, but you get what you pay for, and certainly a great value compared to attempting home remedies or from less experienced professionals. I'll try to remember to post a follow up on the results in a couple months but over confident it will turn out great, and while I can't comment from experience on any of the other services offered, if it's anything like the service I received, then I imagine they will go splendidly as well. Highly recommended and may take a look at a few of their other services down the road. Dr. Lee and Carly Matthews, his PA, explained every detail of what could happen in surgery, good and bad, in a way where I didn't feel I needed to pull out a medical dictionary. He reiterated at the pre-op appointment and on the day of surgery exactly what he would be removing and re-implanting during the procedure from start to finish and I knew I was in good hands which is always a plus before you entrust a surgeon to make that first cut. I received first rate care from everyone I interacted with starting on the day of the initial consultation at his office as well as with the coordinator who scheduled the surgery, the nurses and Anesthetists on the day of the procedure at the River's Edge 1-Day Surgery Center and then back at the office for post-op care. My husband is in the medical field and looks for faults with providers and their staff but couldn't find any flaws with Dr. Lee and his team.
