Staff at pharmacy and at checkout are always helpful and polite. Store and restroom is clean.

The store was very clean. However, there is never any sale products available. The sale starts on Sunday, and Monday after the store is empty. The signs posted around the store says a limit of 6 but it is that all the store manager orders for the sale! I have tried to go back and the shelves are still very empty. This is disappointing. Please do not waste your time to go get any sale products from this store on Boundary Street in Beaufort. You will be highly disappointed!!! read more

Someone is illegally using my account to purchase opiates and I have tried for hours to reach someone who care. My only other recourse is to call the police. The store is never open and when it is there are hour long lines and the drive thru is closed and no one will answer the phone. read more

My five stars are for Pharmacist Ean. I just moved to South Carolina from out of state and was initially having difficulties transferring my prescriptions here and obtaining authorizations on refills from doctors. Ean stepped up and made it happen,processed my insurance coverage and filled my prescriptions for me. Even though pharmacy was extremely short staffed,he made phone calls,verified coverages and made helping me a priority. He's very helpful and professional. Stopped in to grab one item. This store is super organized and the shelves are well stocked. The aisles are well labeled so it's easy to find what you need quickly. Easter merchandise is out. The cashier was friendly. Sign up for rewards program to receive discounts. read more

I can see that most of the negative reviews others have posted, are directed at the pharmacy. I didn't have any interactions with the pharmacy or it's staff, so my review is on the rest of the store. I thought the store was really clean and organized. Everything was in place and the Christmas section has a bunch of items I've not seen everywhere else. The staff was polite and courteous. The cashier that checked us out was particularly wonderful and friendly. All in all a good stop. The reason gave 4 stars and not 5, was due to the fact I found a few food items that were out of date on the shelf. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. This is easily the worst run store I've ever been too. What follows is typical for this store... Today at 11:00 a.m. I was attempting to check out. There was one lady in front of me and the cashier just walked away without saying a word. We assumed he would be back in just a very short time. After 8 or 10 minutes and no one came back. We looked down the aisle and there was the cashier just standing around. He looks straight at me. Started walking toward us which I assumed means he was coming to check us out but he stopped and started doing something else. He finally came and said they'll check you out down by the photo desk. I went down there and there was no one to be found. After at least 15 minutes waiting to check out. I gave up and went home. Seems like a perfect way to run a store when customers want to give you their money but have to leave because there's no one to take take it. I'll never go back. read more

The store is fine, the pharmacy is awful. Terrible hours- 10-6 everyday and closed on Sundays, on hold for over 10 minutes, and they constantly state my prescription isn't ready/isn't covered when it is. read more

I will never use this pharmacy again and I'm going to talk to the store GM or corporate. I went to pick up my wife medicine at the drive through and I arrived at the drive through at 8:53pm and the pharmacy closes at 9pm. I was ignored by the staff after I rang the bell and knocked on the window. Once 9pm came one of the staff members actually rolled up the blinds and placed a closed sign in my face. I went angrily inside of the store and the young lady working at the front called the pharmacy and one of their rude pharmacy assistance actually rolled her eyes and walked away after I told her to watch the security video because she stated that I was NOT at the drive through at 8:53pm. But after they view the footage she came back and said unfortunately they can't ring up medication at the front and I need to return the following day. I ordered photos from here through there app at 10:14 and it said they would be ready at 10:55am. My husband went inside to get them around 11 and the lady working the photo section told him the order wasn't placed till 10:55. So I double checked my confirmation email and it said it was placed at 10:14. My husband told her it said 10:55 is when it would be ready and maybe that's why she thought it said it was placed at 10:55. At which point she caught a attitude and then turned around and handed him our photos. Why she said they weren't placed and then handed them to him I have no clue but the attitude wasn't necessary. The only reason they don't get one star from me is because of the nice guy they had working the register. He greeted us both when we came in and talked to us while ringing our stuff up. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! I scheduled to have a COVID test and had to wait a day - wouldn't do it the day I made appointment. The next day I go to drive through as directed and the sign in the window says they don't do COVID tests even though I'd received several reminders of the appointment. So I go inside - the reminders all said DON'T GO INSIDE! They had the test but said they were too busy to deal with it and they don't let people know they don't do them. There was no one in line and 3 people behind the counter having a good time. Begrudgingly they did let me do the test and I suggested they should have come to the car so I wasn't infecting people in the store. That's when they told me they were TOO BUSY! They couldn't have cared less that I was sick or contagious. Please read all the reviews - mine is not the only bad one. read more

I had hysterectomy surgery TODAY and went home today, they checked me out quickly because they knew the IV meds would wear off soon, so I could (my husband rather) get to the pharmacy to get my pain meds. These are just normal medications that I imagine most people who have any type of procedure take. This was 1pm. They said they were not fully staffed and to come back at 3:30 and they would be filled. The medicines were not filled until 4:30, by which time I was in a lot of pain and having trouble breathing. My husband even explained that I had just had surgery today. I do not think this is efficient or safe practice for a pharmacy. I had to call the after hours at the hospital to find out what to do and their recommendation was to never use this Walgreens because they have a reputation for this type of thing. Incompetence has no place in dealing with medicine. read more

Never again will I step foot in this Walgreens. After I was released from the hospital I went there to pick up my RXs, There was one person ahead of me and he had a lot of questions about a service the pharmacy was suppose to provide him, the one staff member he was asking needed help with the answers, I believe it was the pharmacist or pharmacy tech said they could look into it for him, instead of the other staff member coming back to the window to help the other customers and the growing line she continued to work on this other problem with the second staff member. After about five minutes a car pulls into the drive thru pick up window, well.... yes the customers that had been waiting in line at the pharmacy were ignored while the person that had just pulled up was taken care off. When the one staff member comes back to the counter I tell her my name, I am then told that they don't have those meds, I look at her in disbelief and ask her why I was not notified, she then states that they do have two of the meds and tells me which ones they have and that if I wanted to come back in three days they would have the others. I said no thank you and took the two that they had. She then asked me to verify my address, I am told that that address is not correct? It appears that when I supplied them with my new address two months beforehand they didn't change it in their system. I was never a big fan of Walgreens, this is just one of the many reasons why. read more

If you're getting anything from the pharmacy don't be in a rush whatsoever!!! I had to call back three times by the time I waited 20 minutes somebody picked up the phone and hung up twice which therefore made me have to call back wait another 20 minutes. My sister got out of hospital and stopped to have her prescription filled. She sat there 3 hours and still didn't get it filled. She lives 30 miles away and needed before she went home. This is unacceptable and is a crying shame. I use walgreens all the time and noticed that they don't have enough pharmacist to fill prescriptions. Many say it is because of all the road construction that is maybe a part of the problem but not the pharmacy's problem. I like to use walgreens, but if someone is sick they shouldn't have to wait 3 hours, needless she will never use walgreens again. read more

Do not send FedEx at this Walgreens location. They will open and steal your items!!!!!!! I send four pair of shoes in one big box but when arrived at destination it only have three pair left. I contact head quarter to try to get to problem resolve twice and they said store manager and district manage will check into it and contact me but never heard anything from anyone. The worst pharmacy in Beaufort. Lazy, rude, unprofessional employees. Wanted to get 2 prescriptions filled. One was a refill, one was a new prescription. Asked how much it would cost for the new one. Was told it would take them 30 minutes to call my insurance to find out. That is a lie. I've had prescriptions filled at Walmart and they've always been able to tell me right away how much a new prescription would be. Just a matter of typing in the information. So I just decided to get the refill filled. Was told it would be ready in 2 hours. So I came back after 2 hours. After waiting in the drive thru for almost 10 minutes (there was only one person ahead of me) I was told my prescription wouldn't be ready for another 20 minutes. Hmm. After dropping it off over 2 hrs prior. After I'd pulled away from the window, I get a phone call from the pharmacy, that's when they told me they couldn't fill my prescription. Not really sure if they were out of stock or what. I was so livid at this point, I went back and picked up my written prescription and just took it somewhere else. Unbelievable the way they wasted my time. Unprofessional. Unacceptable. They could have let me known when I dropped off prescription if they were able to fill it, oh... but that would've required actually doing one's job. God forbid they type something in to see if it's available They didn't even want to give me a price on a new prescription when I'd requested one, it does NOT take "30 minutes to call the insurance company to get a price". So long, Walgreens. I'm sure other people will be catching on soon! I will make sure of it. read more
