The Walgreens on Park & Garth Rd was my pharmacy since 1997!. I received great personal service, and the employees were all doing their jobs well. They recently closed. I tried to pick up a prescription at the one near the St. Luke's (San Jacinto Hospital) on Garth and Birdsong. My son and I found the employees slow, few in number, and unfriendly. We walked out. Next, I went to the one on N. Alexander Dr and Ward Rd. My first few times, there were many "pan-handlers". I found it depended on the time of day. It felt unsafe. That was resolved. Then I went to pick up a prescription after they called and said it was ready. 1) I waited a long time in line, only to be told it was still being processed. I was instructed to return after 2 pm. 2) It wasn't ready then, either. 3) I went back two days later to give them time to fill it. They said it had not been filled yet!! I drove away, and called the Walgreens on Garth near the Cracker Barrel. They said my meds would be transferred and ready in two days. Now I'm without meds 7 days, but when I went to get them they were ready!!! The service was friendly and professional. It's the furthest from my house, but worth the drive!!!! I hope this pharmacy will be worthy of my business like the one that was closed just blocks from my house who served me well from 1997-2025. read more

came to ship a FedEx package, the shift leader on duty (Yaz) was extremely discourteous and forced me to purchase a product to complete my shipping package after I've shipped here multiple times and never had these issues. They always tape the labels to the box. read more

Went to store #12715 which is the 7216 Garth Rd This morning I received a call from a Manager whose name was Angelique. I sure hope I spelled her name correctly. She listened and explained why I had to verify again. Medical safety reasons. Thank you for educating me. So folks Walgreens is still okay to go to. Thank you Walgreens for listening I drove up to the window and no one was there. I rang the bell. Someone rudely or stressed out told me they'll be with me. I don't know who was talking to me. So then finally someone comes to the window and has me verify the information. Then goes to get the medication and never comes back. So I'm sitting there waiting for them to come back. Then all of a sudden 3 people come up from somewhere and have me verifying the information all over again! The Lady I had verified to was still with a new customer even though she never finished with me. She completely ignored me. She was with the main Pharmacist as well. Why he allowed this to happen blows my mind! read more

Went back for our booster vaccines today and the girl who checked us in "Cece" was very rude and incredibly unfriendly. After waiting more than an hour past our appointment time, we finally received our vaccines but to our disgust, we noticed the pharmacist never changed gloves between patients. I know this, because I waited for the gentleman behind us to come out (the vaccine takes all but 30 seconds) and I asked him if she replaced her gloves and he told me no. You'd think, if this virus is as contagious as claimed, they would be more concerned with vaccine administration cleanliness from patient to patient directly, than they would pushing mask BS on people. I do have one good thing to say about what I presume is a manager, was a very nice and friendly Hispanic lady and when she showed up back there, things started getting done. I regret I didn't get her name because she is the only good thing about that entire pharmacy. read more

If this pharmacy wasn't so close, I'd honestly probably never go back. They are extremely slow with service, it's ridiculous. No matter what you go here for it's always a crazy delay. It could even just be you in there .. they'll find a way to make the process slow. Hate it here. read more

Honestly if there were a 0 star option to choose that one would fit best. I only stop in when driving a further distance is a hassle. The issues l have with this pharmacy and store are consistent with each visit. Customer service is nonexistent all around from pharmacy to counter and medications are constantly on back orders. Last but not least, it is very irritating that you cannot keep your script on auto refill because of a flaw in the system that refills the script to early and sometimes right after a filled order. I suggest if at all possible to go somewhere else to save irritation! read more

Worst pharmacy & customer service on the face of this planet! Ayme, the pharmacist is a rude individual. I went four times to that pharmacy before they told me they didn't even have my prescription then wanted me to get in the back of a 17 person line while I was waiting for it! The drive-through only had one window, while cars were circled around the building, sick people standing everywhere! Gross, not clean! read more

Pharmacy - slowest around, being out of medication is common, terrible communication and customer service.

Alexis is such a diligent worker. I do not even have to sit there and explain myself she just knows me and my profile and gets right on it filling my medication. She is so sweet too. I cant say enough about her and the pharmacist mrs Kay I have said before and Ill say it again is so wonderful. Very compassionate and can take alot of pressure and handles herself cooly. I know because my mother was rude to her and she was so sweet about it. Thank you ladies! read more

Make sure to not use online coupons from your phone especially on the Walgreens app, because They don't work!!! Useless.

It's the same as most Walgreens as its understaffed. Used to have to wait 20-30 minutes in line to pick up a prescription that was ready , I've since changed pharmacies because of that read more

This pharmacy is a joke. Took two days to get a prescription ready when they told me it would be ready within the same day 1 hour after dropping the prescription off. Don't waste your time, go to CVS read more

Beware of pharmacist, Mr. Sun. He thinks he is a doctor. Won't fill prescriptions doctors write. Someone didn't get into medical school and now dispenses drugs...when HE wants. Stay away. There is a friendly location nearby. Won't be back! read more
