I've heard horror stories about this pharmacy, but the primary pharmacist is even worse than I could've imagined or have ever experienced. Unless you visit in person, expect 1-2 hour waits on-hold, being hung-up on, and an unfathomable amount of disregard and apathy. She very clearly dislikes her career and helping/fulfilling her duties as a pharmacist (and is quite unsanitary, as her incessant open-mouth gum-chewing and handling was nauseating). read more

The pharmacy at this Walgreens has been very helpful - professional, knowledgeable, and timely - in filling prescriptions and having them transferred from out of state. They do sometimes have an issue with things not being in stock, though they can get them quickly. They have also been great for doing walk-in flu shots and COVID boosters. read more

Nobody bothered to call me (my phone number was provided on my prescription), nor did they inform the urgent care so they could reach out to me/an alternate pharmacy. By the time I found out that they were unable to fill my prescription, the urgent care was already closed for the rest of the weekend. They will not hear my message requesting to send my prescription to a different pharmacy until Monday. I AM LIVID!!! read more

Kelly working 4/7/24 an after dinner shift on Sunday was the most helpful employee I've encountered in a very long time and should be promoted. He helped me find a hard to find item but he didn't get much help from the Walgreens site he used with no aisle number it's not helpful. He had lots to do restocking, cashier, helping customers doing it all. an elderly women with the rest of her bill before I had my own wallet out. When I asked if I could reimburse him he said it's again store policy. read more

My husband, who has MS, went to Urgent Care yesterday on Bainbridge Island and was told he had bacterial infection of his foot and she prescribed an antibiotic for him. We waited for the call for 5 hours that it was filled at Walgreens to no avail. My husband called them and was put on hold for 50 minutes and he finally hung up. He went there this Saturday morning and they are closed for two days. My husband was told by the doctor that if he didn't get results from the antibiotic after a few days, he would have to go into the hospital and get IV therapy. So now it will be 3 days before the antibiotic RX is even filled! We will never go to Walgreens again. This is totally unacceptable! read more

Very disappointed went there to pick up a product and told by an employee that they don't WANT to put it out because of something called a reset... basically in stock in system but doesn't want to put out Incase she has to do her job and relocate product. Had an experience at the Pharmacy and we are going someplace else from now on. Came to pick up some important meds for my daughter and had to wait until 2pm until they got off their 2 hour lunch break. Finally talked to someone and they told me the meds weren't ready yet and to come back in a half hour...our doctors appointment was first thing in the morning, so why it wasn't ready at that time is a mystery to me. Anyways, my wife comes back to pick it up 3 hours later and it still was not ready. She didn't have time to wait for the clerk to come back and had to drive away. Another hour later we come walk in and we're told that it's still not ready and that one of the items may be out of stock. Called in on the way to get them moving on it and nobody answered after 10 minutes. It's not worth coming here. read more

This is THE slowest Walgreen's I have ever been to. I was notified that I had 2 scripts ready for pickup, I paid with the "express" pay (a misnomer) in the app and thought "I'll run to get those real quick" but no. I pulled into the drive through where there were two cars ahead of me...27 minutes later it was my turn...5 minutes later I pulled away. 32 MINUTES, 3 customers helped! Thank god for express pay and pickup. I will go elsewhere in the future. read more

My mother is recovering from cancer and was recently exposed to COVID and needed to get tested. I set up an appointment for my mother and her husband to get PCR tests. I got a call an hour before the appointment from a Pharmacist who was rude from the get-go. Instead of putting Ronald, I put Ron in the sign-up form; everything else was correct. She said she canceled the appointment and that there was no way to edit it or for me to reschedule it for the same time. There obviously was a way, and she was just didn't want to be helpful and enjoy that moment of power. If my mom didn't need the test so desperately, I would find another location for her. Avoid, there are so many other great options on the island. read more

App hasn't been able to do refills for a week. Supposed to call the pharmacy. Unfortunately, Walgreens is chronically understaffed, so just make this even less convenient. We have used this Walgreens pharmacy since the store opened. I'm an RN, I understand medications and their usage. The pharmacists and staff here are professional and more importantly accurate. My family have all commented on how easy it is to fill prescriptions. I wish the general public understood being a safe, careful, legal dispenser of medications is not like selling alcohol at the liquor store. read more

Summary: This store does not honor its service hours, receiving their order with all employees but one is more important than the customers. Full Story: This was my first visit to this Walgreens since moving to the Island. I was in need of a passport photo and called previously to confirm that they had the service available. I asked when was a good time to come do it and I was told any time was a good time. Come errand day and I arrived twenty minutes before the store opened, but didn't have the option to come back later as I had many more errands to do before returning home. I thought it would be nice to pick up a couple of other items while there, like a father's day card. When I arrived up front to pay for these items, I asked about where to go for the passport photos and was asked to come back an hour later since the employee that does the passport service was in the back helping to unload a shipment. It was not my finest moment as I complained I'd already waited a while for the store to open, but the clerk's service went from standard to awful in seconds. The older asian woman manning the front of the store immediately sassed me by saying she hasn't seen anyone waiting in the lobby for twenty minutes, that she'd been there the whole time and I only just showed up. I was stunned and corrected her that I meant I'd waited 20 minutes for the store to open, I was expecting the photo department to be open at 9am like the door and websites said but I couldn't even say that because she was talking over me about how I hadn't been waiting and the employee was busy. I then went on to tell her about how I was told on the phone that any time was a good time during store hours and she returned to repeating that the order was being brought in. Honestly, I could easily have accepted 'I'm sorry, the employee for that isn't available right now' and I would've sucked it up that this errand could not be completed today, but basically calling me a liar about my wait and insisting that the order being unloaded was more important than honoring the store's service hours was offensive to me as a specialist in customer service myself. I would advise the store to alter their photo department hours on days when that employee is needed to help in the back or consider letting that employee return to serve their customer on the rare occasion someone arrives during that time. That would certainly make things smoother for those planning their days as I do. Not necessary, but helpful. What was unacceptable was that this woman at the front counter escalated to derisive sass at the first hint of discomfort. She lost two sales for this store this morning, and perhaps countless more in the future because I will avoid this store at all costs from now on. In fact, I now plan on driving over an hour to get my passport photo done elsewhere when I have the time to do it. read more

Wow! All these negative reviews! I, for one, have had nothing but great experiences at the pharmacy. I never have to wait in lines and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A big plus is the fact that Walgreens texts you as soon as the prescription has come in and is ready! read more

Nice new store in a great location. But I just tried to transfer an Rx and the pharmacist barely acknowledged my presence and seemed more interested in her coworkers than engaging with me. She didn't listen to my question and would barely look at me, seeming almost irritated that I was there. All other employees seem great (nice welcome when I walked in the door!). I will come back for seasonal and everyday stuff since I just moved within 1/2 mile of this store. But I will be taking my prescriptions to a different pharmacy as having a friendly engaged pharmacist is super important. read more

I don't know what these other two reviewers are talking about concerning the "female Asian pharmacist" and "pharmacist barely acknowledged me" comments. I have received friendly, competent service from all pharmacists when using the inside counter and the drive up window. These women handled my transfer from another pharmacy quickly and accurately. They have enabled me to receive 90 day supplies of meds to make my trips less frequent. My old pharmacy told me this was not possible. They communicate with my doctor to keep everything accurately updated and refilled. I call in my scripts and they are always ready unlike the other service I was using. I also feel a disappointment that someone would even mention anyone's ethnicity because it sounds racist and ethnicity has nothing to do with how a person does their job! read more
