COVID Update: they have placed social distancing signs and tape on the floor to keep people a part. They also put the price gun in a position where you could scan your own items so no one touches them. I wish they would cancel the keypad function, but just make sure you sanitize your hands. It was sad to see all the Easter items, knowing Easter is cancelled. I hope we can get through this. read more

I don't frequent Walgreens for anything. They're super expensive, and while they take my insurance I get my scripts filled at Kroger. I did however book my two Covid shots at this location because they were offering Pfizer and were one of the only locations with appointments at the time. They are not taking walk ins, so save a trip by booking BOTH appointments online. The first shot was fine, I came in, did paperwork and got my shot 5-10 minutes later. Today I came for my second shot and I waited almost an hour for a pharmacy technician to give me my shot, not even the pharmacist. She couldn't be bothered. Nor was wearing her mask properly. The tech was super nice, patient and answered all of my questions. He did look tired but I don't blame him. Based on the pharmacy, even if Kroger wouldn't fill my prescriptions, I wouldn't come to this location. read more

Pharmacy is usually pretty busy when you try to call, especially early in the morning but when you go in they are always working hard and are very polite. For the rest of the store, the cashier is very friendly and sweet. The manager, Nate, always has a smile and is very on top of things. read more

All of the employees were very nice. Every single one said hi and asked me how I was doing! The place is very clean and well organized (except for the Takis they stuffed in the corner by the pharmacy, that one didn't make sense to me), and the bathrooms were very clean. They're a little lacking on beer and wine choices but have all the snacks in the world. There's no vitamin you've ever heard of that they don't have there. And they have enough make up to make any human look like any other human. I'm pretty sure this is how there were so many Osama Bin Ladin doubles, they were shopping at Walgreens. The pharmacy might be one of the slowest pharmacies I've been to. It shouldn't take 30 minutes to turn around and grab the bottle of whatever my son was prescribed. It's a pre filled bottle. You just have to put a label with my name on and give it to me. Also, they don't have a blood pressure machine. What kind of pharmacy doesn't have a blood pressure machine? Either way the people are nice, and it's really clean, so I can forgive the sluggish pharmacists. read more

Unfortunately the pharmacy is a mess now. Fill-in daily pharmacists so there is seemingly no continuity. Currently that issue is coupled with they are having a supply issue where they only happen to have the name brands of more than a handful pills and no eta on the generics. No other pharmacies but Walgreens seem to be having the issue as I called other ones to see. What do they tell the people who need their prescription? Nothing at all for days other than "no eta". That's not a solution for people that take meds daily or every few hours. Now onto the bathroom and their pencil whipped "clean check chart". My son went to use it and it was gross enough I told him not to touch anything. The rest of the store seems orderly. read more

The LabCorp next to the pharmacy inside this location is horrendous. You can make an appointment but walk ins will STILL be seen before you. Prepare to wait hours and hours for a 5 minute test. Unprofessional, poor time management. Not worth my time or $$. read more

The worst pharmacy of any Walgreens is this location. They let people pull up to the window and sit 30-45 for each car so don't be in a hurry. If there's 4 cars in line be prepared for an hour and a half wait. Every single time. read more

The cashiers here are really nice. But the pharmacy is a mess. I used to come here to pick up my son's prescriptions. For a few months everything was fine. Usually I drop it off, and I always make sure he has at least a weeks worth left at home just in case they need to order it. This time was no different. I dropped it off, and the pharmacy tech let me know they had to order it but it would only be a few days. Okay, no problem. I have enough to get him through. I called the day after it was supposed to be filled since I didn't hear anything. I was told they were still waiting on the medication and it should be ready by Friday. No problem, he'll still have about 3 pills left. I called Saturday to find out if it was ready. What I get is someone who starts stuttering and putting me on hold a few times. Then after she finally gets back to me I hear, "Oh, I can't see when it'll come in, only the Pharmacist is able to see that. The Pharmacist won't be in until Monday, so call back then." Uhhhh okay... So I called back Monday only to find out that the medication is backordered and they won't have it in for another month. To say I was upset would be an understatement. I'm pretty sure I yelled at that person, sorry!! I know it wasn't her fault... But why couldn't ANYONE that I had spoken with before advised me of this? Especially the person I spoke with over the weekend? I was just grateful that I always make sure he has at least 10 caps left before I drop a prescription off. He would've been screwed had I waited until the last minute. Needless to say, I haven't gone back. I've finally started using the CVS my husband has been bugging me to start using. read more

I have been going to Walgreens pharmacy for over 2 years to purchase my medication. The medication is not one that is typically in stock so the protocol is when I purchase the medication they reorder for the next month and keep it in the cabinet so in 30 days when I return it is ready for me. I took my prescription in to get my 30 day supply of medication and I was told they had to order. I said it is in the cabinet and she said no it wasn't and they couldn't get till a Monday. This means I have to go 4 days without medication because Walgreens failed me. If I would have brought the prescription in a couple of days earlier, I would have been told I can't fill it yet it hasn't been 30 days. Walgreens has put my health in jeopardy and after I pick up my prescription on Monday this will be my last time I go to Walgreens on Columbia Road in Martinez, GA. read more
