The employees are very rude and not willing to help. The one woman employee actually said "that *ucks" on the phone to me.

Pharmacist is rude. Not helpful and judges everyone. Most of the staff is good. Clean store.read more

I have been picking my medications up at this CVS for a year. I have had some more minor issues…read moreover the past year, both related to the customer service and the way meds have been filled, but nothing that left such a bad taste in my mouth like what happened yesterday. The closest thing that comes to this is when I called them last summer for clarification on a med and the same pharmacist I'm going to speak about later was extremely rude, easily frustrated, and ended up hanging up on me mid conversation. Anyways, fast forward to present time. I am on a transdermal gel medication. The instructions my doctor gave stated apply 1 packet to each arm once a day. However, the pharmacy was insistent that a 1 month supply would be 30 packets. Since the instructions stated "each" I took this to mean 2 packets a day (1 per arm). When I initially pointed this out to the pharmacy using the CVS messaging app I was told that wasn't clear and I would need to contact my Doctor to send a clearer prescription. Messaged my doctor, she messaged me back and said I was correct and it should be 2 packets a day. I got an alert a few days later that my prescription was ready. When I went to the pharmacy to pick up the updated prescription, they gave me 80 packets but stated that would be a 2 month supply. When I clarified that I did get confirmation from my doctor that it should be 2 packets daily, the pharmacist took me away from the pharmacy tech I was initially speaking to (She is lovely, by the way. Somewhat older white woman with tattoos. She has always been super kind). He started by saying that your instructions were wrong and the fact that they say "each" arm does not imply 2 packets. I asked him to read the instructions he saw on his computer to me and he refused. I also tried showing him my doctor's message on my phone and he wouldn't even move his eyes. He started getting combative, and he said my boyfriend and I were being aggressive (I really dont think we were). I asked him for the box back so that I could reach the instructions myself. I knew my doctor had updated something to make it clearer for them, but I wasn't yet sure what that was. When I pointed out that the updated instructions say "1 packet to each arm for a total dose 40.5 mg daily" and each packet has 20.25 mg (it says that on the box), he refused to acknowledge me and said that doesnt matter. He said if I left with the two boxes they would not refill for 2 months, even if my doctor sends updated instructions. He then continued to say we were being aggressive when we were simply trying to clarify or point out the total mg required daily that was CLEARLY written on the instructions, and he started stating that he was refusing to speak to my boyfriend, telling him to shut his mouth, and speaking over him to continue speaking rudely to me. I was so upset by this situation, but I had been out of my meds for a week now and I couldn't just leave with nothing, so I took my 2 boxes and left. Now I'm left with either running out a month early or applying every other day so I make it through. I'm so upset by this situation and the way he spoke to us. I'm truly not an aggressive or combative person, but I also will not stand there and take disrespect. I will be switching to a different CVS. I'm not sure if anything can be done so that I receive a refill in 1 month rather than 2, but I cant keep going to this CVS regardless. I've read through a lot of the other reviews here, and I do believe a lot of us are talking about the same pharmacist given the quotes some of you provided. He is a middle aged black man and I believe he's the only older man that works in the pharmacy. I called 1 (800) 746-7287 to file a complaint with CVS against him, and I encourage many of you to do the same. I was told the district manager would be speaking with him. After I spoke with her, my doctor also called and the pharmacist told her that he refused to fill this medication for me ever again. Good riddance.

Service is very proficient and prompt…read more However, from day one I had an issue with their Tech /customer service representative. Who yes never said anything wrong but always rushing to give you any information with an attitude. I always let go didn't pay attention- giving her excuses working in pharmacy myself for the past 12 years may be she was busy/ had a bad day or this is just how she gets through the day trying to be speedy as much as she can with her interactions/calls. Until I asked for a refill for my medication and upon asking her what would be the cost for 1 month versus 2 months. I was surprised I was told it's so much cheaper than the first time. So, I used the repeat back method to make sure I have heard her correctly apparently she knew her info; yet, she wasn't paying attention and she quoted me for a much less value by mistake not listening attentively to my question and rushing like before. Upon pickup, I was quoted for the correct price about what I was thinking. So, when I tried to just clarify to her I wasn't told so. She started raising her voice /tone talked with an attitude on how she knows her medicine and pricing and how long she has been dealing with these medications. And that there is no way she quoted me for something else. It's seriously, not a big deal and even if I was the wrong one who forgot or didn't pay attention- I just try to fix the issue. I never spoke to my patients in such an attitude and when I tried to tell another tech she has an attitude. I was told she is my mom so. I was silent not because I couldn't complain further; yet, It wasn't worth my time it was a hopeless case. Since, when we address family connections at work or take it into consideration. So, it wasn't worth it to me because she will of course defend her mom and not pay attention to how she really talks. Also, me being there in the waiting area and hearing the daughter talking about me in a condescending way and how she knows her mom and not respecting even I was still there was more unprofessional. It's sad because the pharmacy is great; yet, if I ever need such special medication again I would rather drive and not have to deal with such customer service /attitude!

Rude front desk staff- Need learn some manners. They literally act like their doing you a favor…read morepurchasing something there.
