Apparently they are short staff, my Massage therapist was in and out of my session because she had to keep answering the door and assisting other customers. This took away from my 90 minute massage. My towels fell on the floor and she did not want to give me new ones. (These are the paper towels for your face). Lastly, they don't tell you the Credit card machine charges you an additional $3. The communication is poor and they need to hire staff. This was a birthday gift so overall I say a "3." I would not recommend this business due to the lack of professionalism. read more

****Racially Profiled ***** I went to this location today and the experience was horrible. when my friend and I entered the store we were immediately greeted by a wonderful lady. She just welcomed us to the store and went on her way. Shortly after, another young lady came by and asked if we needed any help. we said no and she went on her way as well. I noticed that the perfume my friend was looking for, was across the store so we went over to the other side of the store. While we were testing out the perfume, I noticed a young guy watching me. for context my friend is Asian and I am Black. He locked eyes with me and pretended to just be in the area. It was blatant that he was watching me to make sure that I didn't steal anything. He continued to hover in the area looking very obvious as he kept his eyes on me the entire time. once my friend picked out her perfume, we headed to the register. The guy noticed that we had walked away from the perfumes and he began to follow us again. I told my friend to go ahead to the register and I went another direction in the store. and sure enough he switched his stride and began to follow me. He made sure he was close enough to me to see what I was doing. Eventually I got tired of him following me so I just stayed close to him so he didn't have to work so hard in surveillance my person. I have gone to Sephora many times I have NEVER been profiled before. This young man looked to be in his early 20s, and Hispanic. it's so mind boggling when another minority decides to treat me like a thief for no apparent reason. I made a complaint with Sephora's corporate office and I will be putting this review up, anywhere that I can. I will not be racially profiled by anyone without meaning a complaint to their company. read more

I have a feeling I posted to the Sephora inside the Mall previously. ..... so previously (probably five times I received such stellar service that I raved and raved and called Sephora to gush... oh yes - I never use that word about my experiences about THIS LOCATION .... and I will tell you I will not shop at just any Sephora. I have not had stellar experiences at other locations. And that's not part of this review; however, my last experience in another state would be a two star rating. Today was not a particularly great day for me. I was feeling really bad about myself and just having an all around off day ... I really wanted to get a new foundation. Get this though... (super classy move on my part) I open the door and my shopping bag breaks and gets stuck in the door!!) of course everyone wanted to get me a new bag right away. I just wanted to get to see all the goodies!!! So... today I met the most beautiful (yes stunningly pretty..... also sincerely and utterly kind and grateful). Beautiful from the inside out. Crystal!!!! She was trained by the phenom LYLE and she made me feel uber comfortable and relaxed. Next time I want a makeover... Crystal- you're on speed dial!! We started by checking out hair product-Sephora has my needs covered Deva Curl Wave Maker to the rescue. Never knew they carried it. So yes, I found an awesome foundation and rockin' cream highlighter!!! And I must say I am so impressed with my "Fenty" contour stick. I am so happy I left with instructions also. I won't mention how many YouTube videos on contouring I have watched (oh and yes I have a board of pins all about it) I am too long winded now to get into the most incredible makeup brush ever!!!!!!! The store is always clean and organized when I go. I usually try to go in and out quickly with a list in mind. It can be hard sometimes to track an employee down for any questions. And it can be hit or miss if they're friendly. If you do find someone, there's different departments and they might pass you off to someone. This last visit was pretty awkward - I was speaking to a lady in makeup and I had a question about skincare, she tried to hand me off to the specialist who with another customer. Understandably she was busy but she shut us down very rudely. It turned out being a good thing because the initial lady was able to take someone off from the cash register who she said was more knowledgeable than herself at least. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and offered a sample for me to try. She was an older lady with short blonde and blue hair. It was refreshing to see her and another older lady with purple hair working at Sephora. They were both incredibly friendly and made for a pleasant experience. read more

I'd give their website a five, but this store a three. So I think that just evens out to a four. This store has been open around a year now! It's just like every Sephora...almost always overcrowded and loud. But they carry the products I like and when I don't have a large enough order to get free shipping, I often pop in the store and just pick up whatever it is that I need. The people are friendly enough, if you can catch one. They are often so busy that you could browse for an hour or more and never talk to a single employee. I do find that I have more luck getting service in the skin care section than the cosmetics. What offputs me most, however, is the smell. Between all the perfumes being spritzed and just the crazy amounts of smells radiating out of tester products, it can take your breath away. I'm sure that doesn't bother most people, but as an asthmatic, it's definitely something I try to avoid. So I'd go to the store if you feel like you need to browse actual products/colors or need to ask a lot of questions, but otherwise, I'd stick to online shopping with them. They give out the free samples (sometimes even better ones than what they offer in the store) and have some good promotions on their website as well. read more

My visit today was wonderful. I used the Sephora app to get a foundation match and the color was wrong I went to this location and was helped by Liz. She turned it into a very positive experience. I am a die hard online shopper. I have to say that this visit made me feel like I should consider stopping in more often. The customer service was outstanding. read more

This location refused me information because they wanted to protect the StroudMall JCP Sephora employee Nikky. She made it very clear that she was a previous employee at this location. As soon as they realized I was calling regarding information passed on to me by Nikky they said they couldn't speak on the topic and could no longer assist me. Completely unacceptable! A policy is in place for a reason and should be followed through no matter what! Not because the employee does not want to complete the task for personal reasons and makes up false policies to cover their actions. I had to call several other stores and wait an hour to speak to another representative from Sephora.com to give me the information I stated to Nikky and she turned me away. For the record there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE FROM JCP TO SEPHORA. Nikky told me that lie and added another 45 minutes to my wait time before anyone could look into my issue. This is what I am looking for when I go to a Sephora! Everyone is so nice here, even when they are busy. I went in looking for a perfume for my little sister as a birthday present. When I couldn't readily find what I was looking for a sales person standing not too far away came straight up to me to help. We were both kind of stunned that we couldn't find what I was looking for so she quickly did some research. Unfortunately, the perfume is no longer sold at Sephora, womp womp. But she was still so kind afterwards! Everyone else I've come into contact with has been really helpful about getting me samples of different products, guiding me to the right product, and assisting me to choose between brands. Honestly, most of my visits back home I make a stop here so I don't have to go to the Sephora near me locally because the service is so much better and yes, it makes that much more of a difference. read more

Not only did they not have anything I wanted, the girl working couldn't be bothered with me. I waited patiently until she finished talking to her friend and then asked if the store carried a specific lipstick and she said "if you didn't see it, we don't have it." She then walked away and started to talking to her friend again. I am incredibly disappointed (and surprised) with how unprofessional she was.
