Absolutely terrible customer service at the pharmacy today. The employee working behind the counter was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I asked a simple question about my prescription, I was met with an eye roll and a condescending tone--as if I was inconveniencing her by trying to get my medication. I expect a basic level of professionalism and courtesy, especially in a healthcare setting. Instead, I walked away feeling disrespected and frustrated. If this is how customers are treated regularly, it's no wonder so many people are choosing to go elsewhere. Walgreens, please do better. Your staff needs serious training in customer service or better yet shut this location down. read more

I was called an idiot because they couldn't find my prescription at this location by the pharmacy. Staff called my doctor and was informed that the prescriptions were ready for pick up. Went to urgent care yesterday, needed two prescriptions filled. This pharmacy showed as 24:7. They had no staff to cover the pharmacy til 11pm. I had to come back, was in major pain. David was by himself from 11 pm on, dropped my prescriptions at 11:20 pm, had a line I was 4th, got it at 12:43am, he had said it would be a while. Just wanted to FYI folks. read more

Horrible customer service in the pharmacy. For the second time in 5 days I went to pick up prescriptions. Both times were one hour wait. Both attempted pickups involved one prescription which Walgreens had failed to fill because of understaffing, clerical error, etc. I was told to wait and in an hour the missing prescription would be filled. I complained to the manger. Totally disinterested. Pickup outside line was atrocious. I am moving all prescriptions to Costco. No wonder many Walgreens are closing. read more

You know the corporate Walgreens will just pretend this negative statements mean anything. My husband on Sep 7 went to Walgreens for a prescription that was sent to them 3 days prior. There was a long line with one employee at the counter. We wanted his medications transferred to Walmart because of the incompetence of this pharmacy. First we go to the window finally and there's only one drug ready. We asked the pharmacist to transfer the medications because we can't tolerate their incompetence. The pharmacist comes to the window and very rude mind you. I am guessing he graduated at the bottom of his class. He told my husband that Walmart has to notify him when Walmart said my husband has to call them(Walgreens). We told him no we need to have the medications transferred. He didn't bother to help and very unprofessionally turned his back to my husband. Not saying a word or anything. Who hires these people? I even read a review that he took mayor Kelly to the front of the line while others continue to wait, even an elderly lady was waiting. Why are we giving attention to political party over the poor people waiting. I don't know where this pharmacist came from but he's useless to people who are sick and waiting for meds. My husband now has to call the doctor with the prescriptions to Walmart. I am a retired nurse and the impolite employees would be fired. I am amazed of the incompetent employee, the pharmacist. Please don't come to this 24/7 pharmacy where they actually not doing 24 hours. read more

The lines to pick up medication (both inside & drive up) are incredibly long and slow. Wait time is not dependent on time or day. Last time I was here was a Sunday evening about a month ago (only 24/7 pharmacy in my area). A woman was trying to buy the maximum amount of Sudafed. The man checking her out told her a story about how to beat the system. If this woman wasn't seeking to abuse Sudafed, but now she knows how. Mr. Mayor 10/15/2022 3:50 PM My daughter had a 4:00 pm appointment at Walgreens located at Menual and Eubank, to receive her flu shot. She arrived at 3:50. The line wasn't very long (about 4 or 5 people ahead of her); people waiting for either their flu or covid shot. At approximately 4:45, my daughter was next up to receive her shot when Mayor Keller and his wife walked in and stood in line for a minute or two. Then, the pharmacist called Keller and his wife to the front of the line, passing all the people who'd had appointments and had been standing in line for an hour or so. The pharmacy staff didn't say a thing and no explanation was given. Also, one person waiting was a very elderly woman who had also been waiting a long time. She was even using a cane to assist her with walking. A couple of people, who were waiting in line, voiced disapproval and asked the Walgreens' pharmacist why The Mayor and his wife were receiving preferential treatment. The Walgreens' pharmacist gave no response. I will be sending a copy of this note to both the Walgreens referenced here, and their corporate office in Deerfield, Illinois. This is our mayor. I left urgent care today and the dr sent an rx to this store. I have never been here before but the dr said that they would have my rx and that it would be available right away. I drove the 15 minutes to the store and stood in line for about 20 minutes. Lots of people ahead of me were also having problems. When I finally was helped at the desk, the lady told me that she didn't have my rx and that it would be 2 hours until it would be ready and they would text me. I offered her my insurance card and she waved it away. Two hours later I get a text saying that my rx was delayed due to insurance issues and I was told to call the pharmacy. When I did call the pharmacy the woman who answered the phone was very rude and unhelpful and told me that I had to either fill out a form at Walgreens. Com or come in with my insurance card, I asked her why they didn't take my insurance card when I was there two hours before and she didn't answer. I am now waiting in a long line again to try and get medicine that should have been ready 3 hours ago! I hope to never ever return to this incompetent store. read more

This is by far the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. It regularly takes 20+ minutes to pick up a prescription, every single time I go in, whether there are 20 people waiting or two. I just finished waiting in the drive through, there were only two other cars, and it took 30 minutes to get my prescription. They are always friendly and apologetic, but be aware that if you need a prescription in a hurry, you'd better fill it across the street at CVS. There are usually very shady people prowling the parking lot at night, so be aware of that as well. Other than that it is clean and well stocked, but it's a terrible pharmacy so I can't give it a higher rating. read more

Does not even deserve the one star! Came in early Wednesday morning with my toddler. I originally came in to pick my prescription up. I usually go through the drive through which can take up to an hour, so I decided to come in because I also needed to get masks for my child. I decided to look @ the cosmetics because I needed to get some face creams as well. After about two minutes that's when the harassment began. First who I am assuming is the assistant manager came up to me asking if I need help, I said no. Then immediately after he sent the cosmetics worker to assist me. I literally asked her if he sent her to me & she actually replied yes! LMAO! She was like yeah he said you needed help. Wow! After telling him no he sends her. I then proceeded to tell her that I had just said no to him because I was still looking! She was so kind she said don't worry about it take your time. Which I didn't I just made a quick decision and purchased. I then walked around looking for the masks and to my surprise guess who was following me. Yep, the assistant manager, long story short the actual manager then made fun of me along with another customer because I was excited to find kid sized masks. I picked up the masks then walked over to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription l. Seems simple right? No apparently that's a no no in this store! Gif forbid someone walk around and get the things they need! I haven't even mentioned about how shitty the pharmacy service is but I'll just leave it at that! I am seriously going ANYWHERE ELSE! Called to ask a question about my daughters prescription I was on hold for an hour and 15 mins. Never got thru finally had to hang up. Message said they take a meal break at 130am to 2am . The message told me they were taking a meal break at 1045pm for 30 mins . This Walgreens on Menaul has the most horrible RX service! Only one drop off and only one pick up lane. Go somewhere else because the service here is slow. They also have the automated system call you and say that your RX prescription is ready to be picked up and when you go to pick them up and they can't find them. After I was notified the prescription filled, I called to confirm it was the correct generic and and they said yes it was. When I arrived to it up not only was it the wrong one it wasn't in stock, even at other stores. I was given lame excuses aimed at it being my fault. The entire staff is disorganized but they are great at waisting time and looking busy when they are not, and they couldn't care less about your wellbeing. The wait time was 20 minutes with only two ahead of me in line, to find they screwed up Again! I will never return for any reason! Perfect place for a night owl like myself. Living walking distance from location my entire life has been wonderful. A older women named Karen has been working here for years and is such a doll. Sounds grumpy but is the sweetest thing. You can find her in the cosmetics always very helpful and knowledgeable of all products. I order a lot of photos online to this location and they always come out wonderful. A huge plus is they have 2 red boxes outside instead of one! They are oddly located directly across from a cvs but doesn't seem to affect their business much at all. #teamwalgreens ;) read more
