I moved here not so long ago from the West and needed a Doctor when I got here and was lucky enough to find Dr. Emmer and his staff. Not only are they friendly, but very thorough. Dr. Emmer ran the typical tests that one would for a new patient and then took the time to sit down with me and go over each and everyone with me personally. His nurse is also very thorough and gathers a lot of information regarding how your feeling, your weight, blood pressure, etc. I have been back for a couple of follow up visits and was treated the same way. Dr. Emmer and his nurse even took the time to talk to me about the current Virus pandemic and how to deal with it now, and in the future. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

New staff, new management, never seen any of these ladies before. The Clerk reiterated the sale and I pointed out that I didn't know what products it applied to, I only saw one label when I first came in. Nothing in the store on any of the shelves were labeled, with the sale, NOTHING!!! The Clerk pulled out a list of products and went through them, at least 4 pages with numerous product. I was all in!!!!! She recommended a particular product that the sale did apply to. She took the time and explained how, why when to use, where and etc. about this product. She explained to me which sizes the sale applied to and so on. 45 minutes later we are ready to check out. I have 8 items of this particular products, along with other items and the total is well over $100. The sale price doesn't ring up.... She says oh hold on I'll get my supervisor cause it shows sale, but it's not changing. Supervisor comes and says are you sure it's on sale? She says yeah, it's here on the list. She pulls out the 4 page sheet and flips the pages and points to the product. The Supervisor says we'll some stuff did drop off last night. We all are standing there looking at each other. The Supervisor then says "Sorry". I ask her so how am I supposed to know what applies? Just pick something bring it here and check the price. She tells me yes, cause they are not labeled, they haven't labeled them they are in the back or something to that affect. I say thank you, that's ok I'm good and I leave!

I couldn't get in with my stylist so I got an appointment with Southern Charm in Aiken. Natalya was my stylist. The cut I asked for was simple but she couldn't get both sides even. She asked her mom for help and then another stylist named Amber. They all said it was even and I was on the verge of a panic attack. By the time I left my hair was completely ruined. I now have to get a new set of extensions which cost 2000.00 dollars. I will never step foot in this salon again!

Once again received text that prescription was out of stock, automated service won't tell you when it will be in or available for pickup. So after days of no status update, tried calling. They don't want you to call and hope you don't wait 50 minutes on hold and will just hang up. Walgreens: Focus on being a pharmacy and customers. Pay your staff well, train them, care about them and maybe they'll care about the customers who often can't wait days for out of stock drugs and no one answering the phones.

They seem to be under staffed, no one seems to care about the patient. Many times they have only one tech working both the drive through and the counter. Do not even try to reach the pharmacy by phone or even try to talk to the pharmacist. It will never happen. CVS on Whiskey seems to be better staffed and certainly much more pleasant and helpful. I will be changing all my prescriptions to this CVS.

So you can imagine our delight when we heard that she would be able to re-open her shop this past Monday. We made a quick call and were able to both get a much needed hair session. While we used to live in Aiken, we moved to Columbia 15 years ago and have continued to drive back to Aiken for Sara to do our hair. Upon our arrival Monday, at the entrance to the shop was a basket of nice masks to wear while inside if you chose to or needed one. We each completed a short questionnaire about our current/recent health. We were then greeted by Sara, as well as Carrie and Megan, family members who also work there. The shop was spotless, as always. We were Sara's only clients at the time. Megan had a client also, but she was in another room within the shop. We felt very safe while there. Sara worked efficiently to cut two-month's growth off Sid's hair and then refreshed my color and gave me a much-needed trim. We left thrilled with our results and that it had all worked out so perfectly. It was a fun and relaxing outing for us since we had been quarantined for quite awhile.
