My…read morehusband and 2 children stopped at this store because I needed a bathing suit for the trip we were making to a family friend's beach house nearby. When we drove by we saw the sign that notified customers that there is parking in the back, so we did. When we walked into the store there was no one to greet us. My husband took my youngest son to use the bathroom at another establishment. I have no idea if this store has a bathroom because there was no one there to ask. My oldest son stayed with me. I looked at bathing suits for about 3 minutes. After I was done looking I heard a man ask if I needed help. I told him that I was looking for a bathing suit but I did not find anything I liked. He then told me that if I wasn't going to buy anything that I needed to leave his store. I was perplexed because the reason why I was in the store was to possibly buy something. I told him this and his reply was the same, if I wasn't going to spend any money that I needed to leave and that I needed to move my car. I told him that the sign in front says that there is parking in the back to which he said again that I needed to move my car. I told him that I would gather my family and leave his establishment. I am black, so my initial instinct told me that this guy is racist. I began to get really upset but throughout the day I second guessed my instincts. I kind of told myself that this guy is just a miserable jerk. When we arrived home I checked in with my oldest son so we could discuss what happened at the store. My son said that the guy at the store said something under his breath as he passed him. The guy said "What are these type of people doing here?". My heart just sank. My instincts were right. I called the store today to speak to the manager or owner. Turns out the guy who kicked me and my son out of the store is unfortunately the owner. He said that he thought I was going to go across the street to have breakfast for a couple of hours. If I was going to have breakfast across the street, wouldn't I be across the street having breakfast? I was in his store for several minutes looking at bathing suits. My oldest son was also looking around the store for something to buy. This experience has left me really sad and hurt. He said my son is lying about what he said under his breath as he passed him. Mr. Artie Anderson (the owner) said he isn't a racist but I implore him to stop acting like one. Before you kick someone out of your store, I suggest you ask before jumping to false conclusions.

They have all equipment for boards and outfits. It's 40 dollars to rent out a board for the entire day. All the employees seem to always be doing something and keeping busy. Great cool spot.

Fortunately, Randy was still alive and well, and able to design a board for me, send the specs to the shaper, and get me my new stick, including packing and boxing it up for me within the twelve days I had before heading back to South America. I've been surfing for more than 60 years, surfed and lived all over the surfing world, and I either purchased or had Randy design boards that I'm fortunate to have in my quiver. He's a great guy, fun to be around, and Wave Front has the vibe of surf shops from back in the days when they did nothing but talk surfing and make finely crafted surfboards.

From the start, she was rude, combative, sarcastic, and unnecessarily aggressive throughout the entire process. Instead of simply helping resolve the issue professionally, I was met with attitude, condescending remarks, and an overall hostile demeanor that made the experience far more difficult than it needed to be. As a customer, I expect basic courtesy and professionalism -- especially from a company that prides itself on customer service and brand values. The exchange itself was straightforward, yet Maddie handled it in a way that felt confrontational and unwelcoming from beginning to end. It honestly left a terrible impression of the store and the company overall. After being a customer for nearly 30 years and a brand ambassador for this company, I truly never expected to be treated this way.
