Nevertheless, we might get rid of some stuff to add new, but old stuff. We will see. Upon walking inside the shop, I think about how many homes these pieces of furniture traveled to. Speaking with Ms. Gordon, I found out about the possibility of donating old furniture we might not need anymore. This has been fun. I did enjoy seeing pictures of North Carolina Outer Banks before the heavy development. Lots more to explore and the prices are reasonable.

There was a note inside the glass cupboard which read something like this "take any book you like, read it and return with a note included for the next reader." I was delighted! I felt like congratulating the owner for such a wonderful idea of sharing books. Growing up reading, books have been my closest companions since I could remember. This place would def be frequented by me. Equally charming were the many antique pieces set up ever so cutely in the shop with price tags (super affordable) on them! I found my new fave vintage shop! basically heaven for antique lovers like me! i spent a couple hours sorting through everything…read moreinside and outside the building the first time i was there - bought so many cute things. though, i would space out visits to ensure a variation of goods. prepare to spend lots of money! many items were on the pricier side for antiques from what i have seen. also note that there is an equal balance from mass-produced goods to actual antiques. i enjoyed it, but just keep that in mind if you're going to look for something specific.

I did see some photos and items that caught my eye, but only three things I saw I wouldn't mind owning. These three things are all number one to me, but I will place them in no particular order. 1. The Lady In Her Room This painting gives off a very creepy vibe and less sexual if you think about it. The blurred face of her is what caught my eye. Speaking of eye, it is the one thing that is not really blurred on pn her face. She is looking at you and it is not a happy look on her face I can imagine. Furthermore, it gives me the idea of a horror story I have been thinking about, but haven't written yet. Now I see this painting and everything lines up for me. 2. The Blue Cock. There is something about this chiseled glass and how detailed the art work is. I like the shade of blue and can see this sculpture near my dressing room. This too could be used in my horror story as well. 3. The Pink Lady. Again, I like the attention to detail the artist created. I like the color of glass used and the size of the sculpture. It too will be added in to my story somehow. I would place this work of art near my bedroom. All of these peices of are were pricy, but I don't remember the actual prices right now. Hopefully I took a photo of the prices as well. The owner of the store was cool and knowledgeable about the products here. I will say the store is old so the cold wind found it's way through the closed backdoor. Yes, Fall is here and Winter is coming. It's only going to get colder, but the artwork I saw was fantastic. I do feel I will come back for at least one or two of the artwork pieces. I will also say i wasn't feeling the gold frame, but changing it out is unthinkable now that i think about it. Anyhow, if you get a chance to visit this store, I think you will find something you weren't looking for. One of these artwork might talk to you. They might say "Take Me Home With You."
