After waiting the requisite 72 hour waiting period I washed my hair. I had asked Sarah to do the treatment so my hair wouldn't stay stick straight forever. After washing, my hair is more wavy than curly which is what I wanted. It is also less frizzy and more manageable, not as knotty. After a few weeks with it, it is still soft and wavy, but not crazy curly like it's been in the past. It is easier to wear. I am happy with it!

After being cut by the drill three times, I asked about the disinfection process, but Stephanie was unable to clearly explain it. Her response did nothing to reassure me about the cleanliness of the tools, which is extremely concerning--especially when my cuticles were already bleeding. Beyond the hygiene issues, I have never encountered a nail technician as incredibly rude as Stephanie. At first, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, assuming she was having an off day. However, after multiple visits, it became clear that her dismissive and unprofessional attitude is just how she operates. I made every effort to be polite despite her continuous rude remarks, but after waiting over an hour past my scheduled appointment--one I booked two weeks in advance--her response was, "If you didn't want to wait, you could have seen someone else. Most of my clients don't mind waiting." That was actually one of the less offensive things she said to me. I can't begin to list every condescending comment she's made in my last few visits, but I can confidently say I will never be returning. I will also be warning others about her unprofessionalism and the salon's questionable sanitation practices. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of behavior in a professional setting.
