This is a medium-sized Waitrose, albeit with a small out-of-town style car park, situated on the High Street in the Old Town area of Eastbourne. The car park entrance is around the corner in Moat Croft Road, and there's a bus stop right outside, so access is good for an urban location.
It has everything you'd need for your weekly shop - whether it's for you or not depends on whether you're prepared to pay more for your shop compared with some other supermarkets, although they do have offers and have just introduced a cheaper essentials range.
On the other hand, I generally find the quality good (especially for fruit and veg) and the staff here were very helpful on my visit. Pay your money and take your choice, I guess.
My one real downer on this location is that they could have made the building a bit nicer - it's a posh version of a brick-encased shed, and it rather detracts from the architecture of the Old Town, including the 12th century church and pub nearby read more
