If you visit at the correct time in the evening, sometimes you can find an apple tart or cake up for sale for 10p! I've always liked visiting here, it has an underground car park, lifts and small kid trolleys. Some things can be slightly expensive, but I prefer this shop to many other supermarket chains. Usefully, it is opposite a B&Q, a Halfords, a Mothercare a Dreams and an Office Outlet. May I mention, if you are parked in the retail park opposite and decide to walk across to Morrisons you may get a fine from the parking attendants. Overall, this shop is excellent.

Aisles well spaced with plenty of room to zoom past the dawdlers, fruit and veg can be a bit hit and miss, but with prices so low, its barely worth complaining. Definately worth a visit, can save a fortune here.

Stress free shopping on a budget. The only gripe i have is there are no baskets, only trollies which you need a £1 coin to use.

They have a number of offers all year round that even Tesco can't beat like 4 pint milk for £1. They offer a home delivery service if you spend over £25. This is great for those that don't drive or want to carry on shopping elsewhere without the shopping thawing out. It's not really possible to do a weeks shopping there but Tesco is only opposite to get the things they don't have.

The non frozen items can sometimes be a bit pricey compared to Tescos, which is opposite the store. So i recommend it for frozen food but check tescos first for the non frozen items. A relatively small store with narrow aisles - if possible avoid going round with a pram/buggy as it can be a bit restricted. Not enough various product to do a complete weekly shop really, but you'll certainly fill your freezer with nice food for a good price. Opening hours are 9 am ish to 5/6 ish - no late evenings or early mornings.

My favourite small supermarket…read more The store is located in the middle of Langney Shopping centre. It caters well for all goods and is the same prices as the big Tesco stores. They have a Tesco Direct pickup point in store and have recently added more clothes and electrical goods. There is plenty of parking but the car park at Langney isn't great. The store is open until 8pm most days and 9pm on Fridays. The store is also open on Sundays. At peak times the store can be quite busy. They have a small number of self-service quick tills but even these can have a sizeable queue. There is a cash machine in store and is handy as the only cash machine in the centre is located outside, so it's good when it's raining!

On the other hand, I generally find the quality good (especially for fruit and veg) and the staff here were very helpful on my visit. Pay your money and take your choice, I guess. My one real downer on this location is that they could have made the building a bit nicer - it's a posh version of a brick-encased shed, and it rather detracts from the architecture of the Old Town, including the 12th century church and pub nearby
