Vaughn's completed the tree removal, stump grinding, root planing,…read more and, most importantly, the clean up of my two properties as contracted. The communication between me, as the client, with office staff and the workers went without a blip. Brian Vaughn informed me of some promotions that the company posted on Facebook that I had not been aware of. Vaughn's removed some very large trees/ bulbous roots professionally and in the time we contracted. A five star review doesn't seem adequate. I am very pleased and heartily recommend Vaughn's. For years, my neighbors have been using Simmons Landscaping for grass-cutting, leaf-blowing,…read moremulching, and other services. When a different company unexpectedly stopped mowing my grass for weeks in the late spring/early summer, I saw employees from Simmons Landscaping on my street, and I pleaded with them to cut my grass. I felt extremely thankful that they agreed to pick me up as a customer during the busy season! Even before I hired Simmons Landscaping, I noticed that their employees were always very timely and courteous in their service. They waved and said hello to neighbors who were not their customers. Now that I am a customer of Simmons, I can attest to the quality of their work. The employees reliably arrive at my house each week to cut my grass. They are very detail-oriented with weed-whacking in hard-to-access areas of my lawn, and at the end of their work, they use a leaf blower to blow debris off my driveway, sidewalk, and steps. If you live in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, then I recommend that you hire Simmons Landscaping. If they cannot fit you in as a customer this year, then maybe they will be able to do so next season.

Steve is incredibly friendly and easy to deal with. He called back within an hour, and he worked around our schedule to take care of the tree that week. He and his team did a really professional job getting the tree down safely, and cleaning up the work afterward. We had to keep the stump, as it had become a part of a retaining wall over the years, and he had the foresight to leave a really nice-looking clean cut on the stump, so the finished project looks great.

Office Staff. Truly the "face" of the company…read more Could do way better than what they have answering the phone. Wow. This was my very first time talking to a tree removal business with Arborists. The person answering the phone is not creating a welcoming feeling. She speaks is such a condescending tone. I was sorry that I called and bothered her at her job (sarcasm) She spoke very fast without any emotion and seemed so annoyed when I asked questions. She didn't even let me finish my reason for calling when she barked at me " Address., Name. " She made me feel as if she was way to busy to deal with a customer. (the reason she has this job) Then when I mentioned that I wanted them to answer a couple questions about some ornamentals, she replied "that will have to be a seperate appointment" I asked why I had to have a second appointment for just some questions. She did not reply. I just wanted to get off the phone. UGH. I have not received a call back regarding any quote appointment, etc. I will not use this company or recommend them. They should rethink how they allow office staff to speak to customers. I am sure I am not the only one that has experienced the attitude.
