I called Pacific Tree Experts and they made the job look easy. They cut back the umbrella part of the tree and trimmed the large branches back allowing the tree to look more even on all sides. The cleanup was do very well. I have also called them after the "Kona blow" incident that occurred just before Christmas and I'm on the schedule with this company to take down a giant eucalyptus tree. Great guys! 5 stars!

His price was double anyone elses, including the organic firm that will do the work, conserve the chip and do cool things with the long tree branches...but there were more serious concerns. Pacific Tree Service does not use a chipper, so all of this excellent wood would become a problem in our land fill, rather than a solution, and Jason stands hard that chippers are too expensive for him to use. Worse, he is unvaccinated and standing hard on his decision. I didn't realize he is from LA until I saw his cell number. I find those LA folks love threats. So, over a quote and my concerns about his unvaxxed status, Jason sent me ten threatening texts summing with threats of legal action...which I'm guessing is exactly how he would handle a complaint for bad work...with aggression and personal insults. He decided being unvaxed (with small children) was more important than work for his men. So, this person? definitely no aloha, no kuleana, no kokua and thousands of dollars higher than the wonderful folks I chose.

The tree was huge and dangerously close, towering over my residence. Josiah was confident he could take down the tree without any of the large overhanging branches falling and damaging my roof. He used boot spikes to carefully scale the tree and take it apart piece by piece with a chainsaw as one of his workers below guided the branches to safety. Once the top part of the tree was leveled off, he successfully felled the tree and cut it up in smaller pieces which his crew loaded into the trailer. He leveled the stump so that it was barely noticeable. Josiah and his crew were very friendly, efficient and thorough. I was very pleased with the result and would definitely contact him again if I needed any further work done. I highly recommend Hawaii Tree Fellers! We were so delighted to drive into this absolutely beautiful nursery. Their trees and plants were healthy and beautiful. They have an incredible selection.
