I told her I was billed twice, she said it would probably work itself out as it was a mistake and there was new staff. She would note and let the office know. 3 days later I called my card company and NO info was exchanged. Thankfully I am a long-standing good customer, and, on my word, the double charge was deleted. The office mgr. called, finally. Excuses, excuses her day off, no apology. She said she would handle it. Seemed more concerned that both charges would be removed, I assured her only one. It's nice to know where their priorities lie. Be careful, their billing practices seem shoddy at best and their attitude, well, she wanted me to feel she was doing me a favor by correcting her mistake. This is a chain, never again

Stressful and a waste of money!!…read more We thought this was going to be our new vet and be less stressful for our pets but we were unhappy and need to keep looking. I can't get our time, stress or money back and I did try. We feel robbed. We didn't even get what we called them for. We needed rabies shots for our cats and it cost over $400 for them to come out and NOT give them the shots. We would have been fine paying that amount if they had actually given them their needed shots. The whole experience was unfortunate...I would never suggest them to anyone unless you're rich and can afford to throw your money away and don't mind delaying your pets health necessities.

Red Wing has notoriously awful hard and, possibly, contaminated water and we'd lost two male cats to UTI in the past few years. Our regular vet's office had no one available that day and that was the case for every other clinic my wife contacted, except Magnolia Animal Hospital. We're old and driving has become difficult for us, even the 50 mile round trip to Cannon Falls. Dr. Curt Nelson was well worth the drive. He carefully evaluated our cat and, after blood and urine testing, threw the kitchen sink at getting our little guy through this life-threatening situation. After our previous experiences, I didn't hold out much hope and I was WRONG. I can't recommend this facility enough. Everyone we came in contact with was helpful, encouraging, professional, and sympathetic. Cannon Falls and the area are lucky to have such a wonderful veterinarian service.

I had a very positive experience with Southview Animal Hospital recently. My wife and I were…read morevisiting our daughter and her family in California and boarded our 11 year old English Cocker Sophie with a boarding kennel we have used extensively in the past. This time Sophie was attacked by another dog at group playtime. She received two deep punctures in her left flank and abdomen. The boarding kennel took her to Southview where they treated her - cleaned her wounds, sewed her up, gave her pain meds and antibiotics etc. The kennel called our son who is our emergency contact here and he called us early in the morning in California. Of course we were shocked and worried - after all we had left Sophie in what we expected to be safe place. We called Southview and spoke with Dr Mahanke. She spent a long time describing Sophie's injuries, treatment and prognosis which was good. Sophie was returned to the kennel where she was placed in confinement and where the staff did an excellent job of caring for her. She was returned to Southview for a check and Dr Mahanke called us and gave us a positive update we also set an appointment for Sophie after we returned. Sophie came home in good spirits but wearing an Elizabethan collar which was necessary but made feeding etc very awkward and uncomfortable We returned to Southview but Dr Mahanke was ill so we saw Dr Lee who removed her stitches and the Elizabethan collar much to Sophie's and our relief. Both of the vets and the vet tech were very friendly and they obviously cared very much about Sophie's well being. My wife and I were very pleased and would consider using Southview for routine car but it is a very long drive for us.

I contacted a few people and Twin Cities Pets were the only ones that responded! I am so glad they did and here is why. First, cost for service. They stopped over prior to leaving to meet my pets and find out everything that I wanted to have done. They might do more in 15 minutes than I do in 3 hours with regards to my pets! The service is a great value. Great Service. They obviously love animals. It's nice to know that my guys are going to be with people who really care about their wellbeing. They offered to send me texts with updates, etc. When I came home, the cats looked well cared for and I think they left the litter boxes cleaner than when I left them! :) Just good people. These are the kind of people who have an instance trustworthiness about them. They are professional and friendly. Hands down - if you are looking for a pet sitter for whatever reason, you will likely be joining us on Yelp! singing praises about the quality of services you will receive. For some of us, our pets are our children. I like to know they are in good hands. I will be booking them again in the near future as well. So very happy with their services.

Our senior cat has diabetes and needs to be fed and receive insulin injections on a pretty strict schedule (every 12 hours), and finding friends who were both available for the whole weekend and comfortable giving shots proved to be difficult. We found Twin Cities Pets through an online search and were ecstatic to see that they had prior experience with insulin injections and came to your home. A lot of other pet sitting or boarding services said that they will administer medication, but not injections, so this was lucky and we were so glad we didn't have to board him somewhere, which basically sound like cat jail. Marea came over and met with my boyfriend to pick up our spare key and learn about our cat's routine. We also have a bunny and a few tortoises, and she said she was happy to check on them as well. Marea sent us email updates letting us know everyone was doing A-OK, and we were able to enjoy our vacation with peace of mind knowing that our pets were in great hands. The cost was comparable or maybe even cheaper than boarding, and I know that our cat was much happier staying in his own home and familiar environment. We will definitely be using Twin Cities Pets the next time we go out of town and I would highly recommend them to any other friends in the area. Excellent service, I wish I could give them even more stars!
