My experiences with Wagmore Pet Grooming had been largely positive until recent events involving my dog, Wilson. Wilson and my other dog Lucas had been groomed by Amanda on several occasions without issue. However, after his third grooming session, I noticed he began shaking his head vigorously as soon as we were in the car after his grooming appointment. Initially, I suspected minor irritation from ear hair plucking but became concerned when the behavior persisted for three days, leading to a veterinary appointment five days later after his grooming appointment. Wilson had no inflammation in his ears, but with further examination the vet discovered a cut on each of Wilson's ear tips, diagnosing them as likely caused during the grooming session. After treatment, which included cleaning the wounds and administering pain relief, Wilson's discomfort subsided, costing me $75 in veterinary fees. Several months later, at their next scheduled grooming, I politely requested Amanda to exercise extra caution with Wilson's ears due to his previous injuries. I also stated that I know how Wilson, can get scared and pull away when approached with devices , namely razors, or clippers. She responded defensively, insisting any cuts would have been noticeable to her at the time of grooming and even suggested, quite implausibly, that Wilson might have inflicted the injuries on himself. This response was disappointing as it dismissed the professional assessment from the vet and my observations post-grooming. During my dog's pick-up, on June 25, 2024, Amanda's customer service was markedly different; she was noticeably unfriendly and failed to complete promised services such as filing Wilson's claws. Despite the reduced level of service, I remained professional, and even left a tip, albeit smaller than usual. I want to clarify that I gain no monetary benefit from raising this issue; I did not seek compensation for my vet bill nor ask for a discount on the grooming services. Despite this, I even left a tip. It's worth noting that Amanda did an excellent job with the haircuts during this visit, which showcases her skills as a groomer. However, her dismissive attitude and the lack of acceptance of any potential fault were deeply disappointing. My concerns are solely about the well-being of my pets and the accountability of the services provided. Professionalism requires more than just technical skill--it demands taking responsibility and showing genuine concern for customer feedback, especially when it involves the well-being of their pets. Amanda's failure to acknowledge the possibility of an accident that she may not have been aware of under her care, combined with an unacceptable attitude towards valid customer concerns, has compelled me to reassess continuing my patronage with Wagmore. Unfortunately, due to the decline in accountability and customer service, I have decided not to return to Wagmore Pet Grooming. read more

I have 2 small dogs (yorkie & maltese) and after several bad experiences at a different grooming facility, I decided to try to groom them myself for the last several months. Needless to say they were in dire need of a proper cut so I decided to give WagMore a try. I had very specific requests for each dog (not typical cuts) and they did exactly what I asked for. Both Gigi and Lexi Rose look absolutely beautiful. I like that they documented their health issues, as both of my pups have collapsed trachea and a few other problems. They took extra care and attention during the whole process which was under 2 hours total. At the previous grooming facility, it would take up to 5 hours before my dogs were ready which means my pups were sitting in a cage getting stressed out for most of the day. They would come home exhausted and stressed and it would take hours until their personalities came back. When returning from WagMore they were both happy and playful. No signs of stress at all. Kym and Justin were so kind and loving to my pups and gave them beautiful cuts. I couldn't be happier! I'm so grateful I found them and I will definitely be booking future appointments. read more

I appreciate the communication efforts WagMore uses via text reminders for appointments and being able to make a phone call to make an appointment. Justin even called to let me know my pup was done. Best of all, Justin worked his magic and my scruffy Yorkie looks so handsome now! I am very pleased with WagMore and I will continue to make the hour drive to take my pup there. My poor kitty Bella, a long hair calico was a rescue. She would not let me brush her and the poor thing was getting knots all over. WagMore saved me. They bathed her, brushed her out, and she's perfect now. The staff was so caring and you can tell they genuinely love the animals they care for. I'm very impressed with the groomer I had for our little Lucy. Our dog recently went blind in a short period of time. The groomer was very reassuring to me as this was my dog's first grooming since she went blind. Lucy looks adorable and was very happy. This was very important to me.
