I have a difficult boy because he wasn't treated very well the first half of his life so he doesn't really like veterinarians. They have always been very good in working with him and understanding his issues. All of the above things I would actually expect from a vets office but this past week when my pup was really sick they went above and beyond. I called and they had no openings and recommended I visit an emergency pet hospital close by. I was upset but of course understood and hung up and started making arraignments to visit the pet ER when I got a call back that someone had cancelled and I could bring him in right away. I'm really sorry that someone cancelled their surgery but so happy that my boy was able to be seen. A couple of days later and he is on his way to being 100% and I couldn't recommend this clinic enough.

I've been trying to plan for a week-long work trip at the beginning of May, followed some time in Europe, and needed to secure boarding. Over three days, I submitted multiple intake forms (in case the first didn't go through), sent texts, and called. There was no follow-up, no acknowledgment. Nothing. The only response I received was a single text saying they weren't accepting new boarders until May 1 and to fill out a request form...which I had already done multiple times. If you're too busy to take on new clients, that's completely understandable. But ignoring repeated outreach and sending a generic, unhelpful response isn't. Communication matters, especially when people are trying to make plans with real deadlines. They may be great with dogs, but based on this experience, I wouldn't rely on them if you expect professionalism or responsiveness.

Because the staff pays such close attention to the dogs in their care, they noticed a problem early on. JoJo had been acting completely normal at drop-off, but a couple days into her stay, they sensed something was wrong and trusted their instincts.They immediately stepped up and took JoJo to the emergency vet. Mandie stayed by JoJo's side when we couldn't, acting as her comfort and protector while we cut our trip short and raced back home. Even after we returned to town and took over, Mandie constantly checked in on JoJo to see how she was doing.The most incredible part is that we didn't even really know Mandie, and we have never met her in person. JoJo had only been there for daycare and boarding a handful of times. For Mandie and the staff to treat JoJo with this level of devotion, love, and urgency is truly extraordinary.
