This is one of those awesome Ice Cream Parlours that lets you try any and every flavour you want to before committing to one (or two, or a few)! After sampling a couple of the sorbet flavours, I opted for peach sorbet scoop along with an incredibly indulgent scoop of the dark chocolate, with strawberries on top. I expected it to come in a little bowl (seeing as I ordered a "2 scoop" bowl for £3.79 + 49p for fresh strawberries) and was pretty blown away when I was greeted by magnificent lookin' thing! My peach and dark choc sorbet dessert cost me less than £4.30 in total, which I think is fairly reasonable as a treat. Jojo's Gelato would make a super cute place to go for a date, to catch up with old friends (like I did) or take the kids as a special treat! My (non Vegan) friends got incredible looking waffles with ice cream, fruit and whipped cream! I struggled to finish mine and couldn't even consider looking at the waffle dishes for too long, let alone eating them! The only thing I didn't enjoy about this place is that it was quite nippy, we were sat in there for about 1.5 hours so I really felt the chill.

However, during a recent visit with my family (4 adults and 4 children), we were seated indoors due to bad weather and then unexpectedly asked to leave. First, we were told the table was reserved -- but then the staff admitted it was not. We were instead told the children were "too noisy," though they were simply playing quietly, as children aged 3-7 do. We felt humiliated and singled out, especially since other families were allowed to stay. When I asked to speak to the manager or get the staff member's name, I was refused both. We left and were welcomed warmly at another local restaurant, where the children were offered crayons and treated kindly. This contrast made our experience at Marrocco's even more disappointing. I have contacted the restaurant for a formal response and expect a written apology, a review of staff conduct, and clarification of their policy on children and families. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to other families.

It was a small space and hot as well as cramped. Upon entry I was told there was a 20 minute maximum time inside because of the size. This is understandable but something I had not encountered before. The staff was really lovely and helpful in my purchase of a Hello Kitty London bag and my coffee and cake. The reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the quality of the food. It was not bad by any means. But it was just "ok." I don't think I finished either of the items I purchased. But you know what? It doesn't matter! This place is all about the aesthetic and photos. I simply cannot give it a 5 because there is so much good food including pastries in London and I think they could have done better. Also side note: I was up all night after drinking the coffee lol!
