Mannnn WHAT a GREAT waffle house! Typical waffle House decorum and pictures, typical cleanliness. I don't know, the food here is spectacular! It was so good, I had to order a Texas melt after my main dish. That girl behind the stove was out there whippin skillets like no other! My server, jessica, was a friggin water spider! Didn't stop moving the entire time, washing dishes, serving tables, making coffee, if you want to talk about a five-star employee, she's definitely one you want to keep on board. Their prices have came down also. Not like it was expensive before, but it's definitely more economical for the family looking for a good budget and quality meal. I had a great experience at this Waffle House. Actually, I ate there twice. Once when I arrived in town and then, on my way back home. First visit: I was pleased at the quick service, as I was tired from driving several hours. I had a cheesesteak sandwich and sweet tea. Both were yummy. Second visit: It complimented a wonderful weekend. When I entered, I noticed how well-kept and clean it appeared. I hadn't even noticed during my carryout visit. I was warmly greeted and found a counter seat. I love watching the cooks. I ordered waffles, cheese eggs, sausage and of course a sweet tea. Everything was delicious. The vibe of the visit started a beautiful day. The playlist they had on was bomb! It included some of my favorite songs. Best Waffle House in Clarksville. The cook and his wife have been working for Waffle House for over 30 years. Very clean as well

When I arrived there were two couples that already had been served. So I was the only other customer needing service. Here was the order- BLT with a fried egg, hash browns with tomatoes and onions and a bowl of chili. It was around 7pm on Monday 12/11/17. Bowl of chili was less then luke warm. Then on her way to my table she realized the egg was missing. When I finally was served, the egg was there but didn't look like anything I would eat. It was very limp for a simple fried egg, it's not hard to fry an egg properly. I took it off the sandwich. Hash browns were just that, with no tomatoes and onion and under cooked. Took me about 15 minutes to get her attention and ask her to take the charge for the tomatoes and onions off my ticket. I didn't eat the egg or hash browns but payed for it. If your not going to cook it the way I ask then why take my order? Next time just throw whatever you want on my plate so I can still not eat it. Oh, you actually did that. Cook was more interested in joking with the waitress and fixing his Mr. T necklace that he couldn't simply cook an easy dinner. Thanks very much! JAMES read more

Great place to have breakfast, in fact I highly recommend it, however..... I'm writing this at 8 pm. This place (tonight) is polar opposite from the morning. Cook and waitresses openly taking verbal jabs at One another to tables not being cleaned, we had to sit at the counter. Looking around it was very clear the floor received the same lack of attention the tables did. Furthermore, the waitress "jasmine" went out to smoke and came in and served me and others food without washing her hands, are you kidding!! Watching her smoke to serve food made it clear this is the norm and not an exception. The cook, Daniel, dropped a sealed food item on the floor and proceeded to pick it up, put it on the counter and cut it open with the same knife he uses on the food. And that is for openers. I have ate here several times for breakfast, great crew, great service, love coming here, but, tonight makes me cringe enough to strongly consider not coming back.. Sooooo much is wrong here!!! Major health risk at this location. I watched one of the employees cutting lemons while continually wiping his hands on his pants and then proceeds to cut his finger and continue cutting lemons that are to be put in people's drinks and food. I will not even start on the flies that thought they were invited to join you for a meal. Will never return to this location. read more

Honestly, I wish I could give no stars. I called in a to go order and whoever answered the phone obviously has never been trained in customer service. Then when I walked in to get my food it was sitting cold with no lid on it to keep warm. Then when I walked up to the cash register I watched people scatter like they were afraid to greet a customer, eventually a girl named Breanna rang up my ticket. Not once did she greet me or say one word during our transaction, except to ask if I wanted my receipt. I get in my car and check my food and of course it's cold. I know it's a Waffle House and I shouldn't expect five star service, however, I expect some decent customer service and I do expect my food to at least be warm. Next time I will drive the few extra miles to the Clarksville Waffle House for better service. P.S. If management reads this, do your restaurant a favor and hire people with better customer service skills; people don't want to spend money to be treated like crap. read more
