Waffle House is waffle house no matter the location so there's not much I can say. They're friendly and the service was prompt. I messed up by trying some fake cheesecake topping on my waffle but I know to never do that again. read more

Waffle House - Diners Near Me - McComb, Mississippi

After my experience at this Waffle House location, I was shocked it got 2 stars. There needs to be a minus stars available because this Waffle House location is pathetic. When I walked in I noticed that there were at least 7 tables that needed to be cleared and there were 6 employees working. They were bickering and arguing with each other. Meanwhile, there were 5 customers waiting to be seated. The waitress finally cleaned the table and sat them. She went back behind the counter and ignored them. They promptly got up and left. I would have done the same, but my dad requested breakfast from Waffle House. It took them almost 8 minutes to take my order. The restaurant wasn't crowded so there was no excuse for slow service and dirty tables. I finally placed my order and I stood and waited. During my wait, the tables still were not cleared and the loud arguing persisted until I left. As I'm writing this review, I'm reading reviews from other patrons that had the same experience. Who ever owns/manages this Waffle House needs to address the deplorable and pitiful staff they have employed. I would STRONGLY encourage anyone who is looking for a place to eat.....to KEEP ON DRIVING. This place has despicable staff and lacks any ounce of professionalism. read more

Waffle House - a cup of coffee and a bowl of rice - Diners Near Me - McComb, Mississippi

Typical Waffle House, food that is not good yet the price point somewhat makes up for it. The coffee was great, the service slow, the food horrid. I am honestly not a fan of Waffle House, but my spouse is (for some odd reason). We visited, while away for a birthday party, so went as a group of three adults and two kids. The service was slow, the server very inconsistent and half the food came out followed by the other half about 10 mins later. Just not good, stay away. read more

By far the worst restaurant of our trip. We walked in a little after 6am on a Sunday morning. There was one customer and a lot of staff. Tables were not cleaned. We sat down and it was 5 minutes until our server came over. Then another 5 minutes for our beverages. Very slow and still only one other customer. My husband ordered a breakfast combo with a waffle. The waffle was so thin .. I didn't even know they could be that thin on a waffle iron. And he said it tasted bad. Maybe it was old batter. I ordered a melt sandwich and hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were the best part. The sandwich was very greasy. We had to wait for the check. Not sure why they were so slow. read more

While on a trip to Percy Quin State Park during the 2017 snow blizarrd, we came here the next morning when the sun came out to get warmed up and some grub. Typical Waffle House. The condition of the waffle station shows they have been busy busy...as does the full seats. We lucked out and came in just as a group was leaving. Our server was friendly and knowledgable about the menu. Took the order fast and that's where the wheels of progress came to a abrupt halt. They are crowded and busy but I have a feeling our girl didn't put in the order right away. More than likely she went out for a smoke break. Or two. The food came out eventually in broken fashion along with apologies. I noticed that other tables were receiving similar food delivery treatment but much faster. Maybe their girls did not smoke. Food was good and consistent compared to other Waffle Houses so they have that going for them. read more

Worse experience ever! Do NOT visit this establishment should you travel through McComb Mississippi. After ordering the grits bowl, which had a nice pic on the menu, I received something with ice cold grits and 2 pieces of american cheese sitting atop and unbothered. I politely asked if it were possible to heat it a little more. Around 20 minutes later, some new patrons were given the same dish I ordered. Another 10 minutes went by. Finally, the server comes over and says, "something's wrong with the grits now. You want something else?" Since everyone with me was finished with their food, I said no. She passed me my bill with only my food taken off. No apology, no compensation. I finally had to ask her if she thought that was reasonable. Her answer and I quote, "I don't have the authority to compensate and the manager isn't here. You want me to take 10% off? I'm sorry you didn't get to eat." We won't be back. I'm still waiting to eat. The ratchet end. read more

This is the worst waffle house I've ever been in. Walked in was never greeted. Sit down at booth, still no waiter. One was on the phone the other acting like she didn't want to be there. Flys were everywhere so after 10 minutes we got up and walked out with still no one even saying a word to us. So take my advice if you wanna eat go somewhere else. read more

After reading some of the other reviews on this waffle house i knew it wasn't just me and my family that thought this place was awful. the air conditioning in here didn't work and i know that isn't the employees fault but it smelt like BO in there. Absolutely awful smelling. Above both of the grills they had grease build up dripping down onto the food. while the dishes were being washed an employee sprayed my little sister with water countless times. AND my mother found a bug in my 7 yo sisters drink. we got our food 30 minutes after ordering and it wasn't good. not to mention when we sat down the employee gave my mother a rag and told us to clean the bar off. we will not be back here, we have been to better and cleaner places. read more

One star! Because nobody deserves a star when the cook is in plane sight touching raw meat and bacon then grabbing, onions and everything else for that matter with his gloves on!!! Someone is going to get sick and I hope nobody does...I have called the corporate office to alert this. The staff was great, and attentive. I'm sorry I can not give more than one star though when someone is handling raw meat and pork and then touching fresh vegetables!!! I'm glad I didn't see anyone order chicken, I don't know if I could have contained myself..... read more

Came in to dirty tables, half-full restaurant, and two employees sitting at the bar doing nothing except playing on their cell phones and acting inappropriately to be on staff here. We thought that maybe they are off the clock, but nope, one just got up and checked on a table and then plopped right back down. This place is filthy, and it is evident why. This particular Waffle House is not any dirtier or cleaner than any other Waffle House I have been to. Rather par for the course. Ordered Eggs 'N Cheese this morning. This place is half full at 2:30 in the morning and it took less than 5 minutes to get my order. At $6.59 this is a better value than McDonald's and it tastes better. Waffle House claims to have served more hash browns than anyone else in the world and by the size of my portion, I believe them. Nobody goes to this place expecting a 5 star restaurant. It is what it is. A no frills place to get a decent bite to eat at a good price. Open 24 hours, even the McD's is closed right now. And more times than not at most Waffle Houses, especially in the middle of the nught, you will probably get yourself some entertainment. Whether it be some drama from the staff or some booze up customers. It's always an experience at the WH! read more

This was the worse Waffle House I have ever been too since living in the south. The owner who posted those photos on Yelp is telling a lie. Those are not from that location. I was so hungry and at 1:20pm was t many places to choose from for breakfast and I am beyond disappointed. Flies were horrible, service was horrible, the way it looked inside was horrible, floaters in my tea and the food was horrible. read more

The food was burnt to the point it was black and the service is horrible here our waitress was Kelly and when I say she moves slow I am not joking it look her 25 min while we stood up for her to wipe down a table where we could have somewhere to sit after that it took a hour to get the food because she forgot to put the order in now after being here for this amount of time we have finally getting our food and can u believe it our order was wrong it's not rocket science people all it is is being lazy read more

Great coffee, absolutely AMAZING waffles! The place was clean and Sam was very attentive.

I eat at Waffle House all over the country and this is worse one I have eaten at. The food was horrible! The lettuce was old, the tomato was very old, bread d and cold, has browns tasted funny, waffle was burnt, etc. top that off with staff screaming, singing and dropping and banging pots and plates. I know you don't go to Waffle House for cleanliness but the health department needs to go here! read more

By far the worst experience I ever had at any restaurant. Got there at 825 sat at a table. Took our order by 835. Got our drinks around 850 but it's was like watching the three stooges on display but you really don't want to see that when you waiting on your food. Was about average crowd today. Tables was dirty and the staff standing around looking lost. Finally around 930 the food started to arrive the last about 945. My wife waffle was cold and over cooked my boy burger was good and my meal was an all star special. My eggs was sunny side up they were under cooked I could see through most of the white yolk so I asked the waitress if they was cooked she said that is what you ordered that is what you got. I told her they are not cooked all the way and I picked the edge of the eggs and the uncooked part of the eggs ran across the plate. Then the waitress rolled her eyes and won't not even talk to us. Been regular customer for a while I will never go back again. The staff is a joke at this location read more

Walked in and sat down, one girl said it was going to be 20 minutes before they could serve food. That was perfectly fine with my party and I. When another girl took our order, it took twenty minutes before getting our drinks. Forgot one of our drinks. The cook had to tell the girl to give us our drinks. Then the cook told the girls to read out the orders, and though we were the first people in here our order wasn't the first order called. The waitress then had to ask two of us how we wanted our hash browns and still made our hash browns wrong... My mom ordered bacon and they didn't make it. Her first bite into the food and it was cold. Then the phone just kept ringing. Four people here and no one is answering the phone. The manager needs to do a better job hiring people here. These people have no customer service. I have never made a complaint on a company before but this is absolutely ridiculous. read more

This has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life. My husband and I frequent several different waffle houses usually with the only complaint being it's a little chilly inside but we have learned to just wear a light jacket. We walked through the door at this waffle house and weren't even acknowledged for the first ten minutes after arriving was about to walk out when our server finally came to the table her name was ella not because she introduced herself but because I read her name tag. She slams our silver ware down and wants to know if we are ready to order she never put her pen to her pad until I had completed our order so needless to say we had to send food back once it finally arrived one thing at a time. I dont think I have ever had to wait on each item to arrive separately at any restataunt. It was like each item was arriving like we were being served a seven course meal. After we finally get all of our food and choke it down I have never been so tempted to walk out without paying ad I was here. Not due to the bad service but from being ignored while standing at the register waiting to pay. My server ella looked at me standing there not 2 time but 3 times and never even said I'll be with you in a moment just ignored me and stood there watching her waffle iron to be ready finally another server who had been preparing someone's to go order comes to the r3gisyer where I'm waiting to pay and instead of waiting on me skips over me to call for her customer waiting on his to go order. When she finished taking care of him I practically had to shove my ticket and debit card into her hand to get her to check me out. ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER read more
