The food was AMAZING and DELICIOUS. The waitress Kia kept an eye on me and was attentive to my order and even brought me a Togo water when I was ready to leave. I have been in Grenada for eight weeks staying at a hotel and although the hotel breakfasts are hot and good it just wasn't what I wanted. I ordered the 2 Egg Breakfast with Hash browns, toast and added bacon. I had a glass of milk with my order and now I feel like a whole new CowGirl. The restaurant was somewhat loud but since it's all over the counter, cook, cleaning it is expected. Great visit, excellent service and Magnificent Breakfast! read more

By far the worst experience I've had at a Waffle House. We walked in and sat ourselves. We were not greeted or attended to for 10 minutes, the table was wet, and there was tissue all over the floor in the bathroom. There had to be atleast 6 people working and not one said hello. Instead of causing a scene, we left. Definitely will not be returning. read more

Friendly, hot and speedy as usual. The food was spot on and the place was clean, which is nice to see.

We had a little bit of a wait when we got here due to it being a busy time of the morning. My husband got the chicken with eggs and hash browns scattered smothered covered chunked and peppered. They forgot to add the ham and questioner us like we didn't look to see if it was added we moved them around and showed no ham. We just asked for some on the side and we would mix them in ourselves so we didn't have to send his full plate back. I got the waffle and it was undercooked. It was very light like they were just trying to get the plates out and not paying attention to details. The restaurant was dirty and there were dead bugs in the window it could really use a good cleaning. Overall the food was alright but not our best Waffle House experience read more

See all

This was hands down the best Waffle House I have ever been to. The staff were all so friendly and kind an we got our food super quick. The waffle itself was perfect. It was thick and fluffy and cooked perfectly! read more

The FREEZER in that Waffle House smelled like death. The guy kept opening the door and we ended up leaving without finishing our food. Had to give them one star in order to post sad read more

Enjoyed a great late breakfast with the hubby. Food was great, coffee was kickin but the staff was everything. From the moment we walked in door we were greeted with warm smiles and welcoming comments. Sat at the low bar with Shy who took excellent care of us. She was so attentive and kind. Her sweet smile and kind spirit was so refreshing. Thanks for a great experience read more

Service was good, BUT this place is absolutely filthy. I had to look at the counter so I couldn't see the filth. read more

Waffle House - Filthy - Diners Near Me - Grenada, Mississippi

Absolutely the worst Waffle House I've ever been in!! Had to get up and walk out!! They have no idea what they are doing in there. Manager is too busy doing pape read more

So this location - in Grenada, Mississippi. It's very hit or miss with its customer service. The food is great if you can get any though. I stop in fairly often, often I ask for biscuits and gravy - they never make the gravy for whatever reason, which is disappointing, unless the district manager stops in. He is friendly and has your food out fast.. I probably will not be back after this morning. I pulled in and waited ten to fifteen minutes in an empty store not realizing the employees were in their car. I shouted to see if anyone was there and even called. No answer. It was only after I took out my phone and recorded a short clip, wondering where everyone was, that they came running into the store. Very rudely asking why I was recording, as if -I- had done something wrong for wanting service. I was respectful and told them that I did it because I thought nobody was there and had called the location a couple of times while waiting inside. The waitress then rudely asks "What do you want?" While the cook proceeds to mention that she wasn't "sitting in the restaurant and waiting for customers at 4 am" It was silent and awkward while waiting for them to finish my food - which I feel like I was over charged for out of spite. And honestly felt out-numbered and threatened while waiting. I love Waffle House. It has been a favorite since I was very young, but I have never been to a location where no matter what time of day the service is slow and often rude regardless of if anyone else is in the store or not. Nor have I felt so cornered, threatened and unappreciated as I do here because I simply wanted service. So, the ball is in your court. Please make this place the Waffle House we all knew and loved. Your employees have really run this location into the ground and I won't be back there. read more

We stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The staff was rude as soon as we walked into the restaurant. Snapped at us for sitting at table before it was cleared. Did not bring menus , asked if we really needed them. We ordered. They brought my husband's meal first, part of it anyway. When he was about halfway through he got the rest of his. My meal didn't come until he was almost done. Both our meals were lukewarm at best. The biscuit on mine was burnt. I assume biscuits with sausage gravy is either one or two biscuits but I got one and a half. It was on a small plate so every time I moved anything on my plate it was running off the plate. The waitress only checked on us once. My husband paid and he said they acted like they were glad to be rid of us. I would never recommend this place to anyone. That is saying a lot since we are huge Waffle House fans! read more

People okay and if you are starving, they will make okay food to keep you from starving. Not the cleanest place in the world, but okay. I had a juicy hamburger and hash browns, if I was starving, I would stop again. read more

We ate here after a long drive and it was the only real option for us to eat at. My wife is not a Waffle House fan, but was overjoyed with the service we received. The waitress and cook were extremely pleasant and accommodating. read more

The worst place! We walked in at 8:15 pm with 2 ladies behind the counter and 2 other people in there eating. The lady at the register watched us walk in , never spoke, looked at us several times while we were seated. Finally at 8:32 the lady at the counter says we would have to wait till 9 to order for the next shift because they had to clean up! Will never step hoot in there again! read more

Amazing food Amazing staff!!!! Im from Illinois and we definitely enjoyed this spot the one in Brandon, MS was HORRIBLE!!

Visiting family in Grenada and we went out for breakfast here. The food was as expected, tasty and made well. The place was clean. The coffee was good. And our server, Erica, was amazing. She was attentive and very nice and hit all the steps of service. Great job to her! read more

Waffle House is good food,& quick service. The staff was friendly,& It's great they are open 24 hours a day. I will be back,& eat again.

Food was good, staff and service was better than average for most waffle houses I been to

I had the worst experience I have ever had ANYWHERE!!! I also emailed the company and have received the same. Looking at their reviews, they don't have any intentions of changing anything about the situation. I won't bother returning. I will make it point to never return! read more

I wasn't expecting a lot from a Waffle House. The food was great but the service was absolutely horrible. It might have been the worst service I've ever seen. Instead of cleaning tables the employees stood around talking to each other and turned customers away who wanted to sit inside the restaurant?! There were line 7 employees and only 2 who were actually doing anything work related. It was very dirty which scares me since I consumed food there. We're going to check out another Waffle House on our trip to see if this is how the Waffle House operates or just this particular one. read more

Poor service and dirty dining area. We all received our food at different times and we all had something wrong with our order. Not to mention the dead fly stuck to the window right over my shoulder. Probably the 1 good thing was I we were greeted as soon as we entered and no one got sick. Well that's 2 things. read more

Worst customer service ever! The cook was extremely unprofessional and rude. They messed up the order and the cook said, "I ain't gonna make them another food". read more

The place is pretty dirty and the staff were pretty slow cleaning off the counter and tables. I'm not sure this staff is excited about working here. Food at Waffle Houses are all the same and that is what I like about them. read more

Website says the dine in area is open but my family and I were turned away and told to order and wait outside. That we could not eat inside. We had a disabled family member so this was quite an ordeal, to get them in, then out immediately. You need to update your website and put a notice on the front door if this is the current policy. Other people were in there waiting for their food, so it's not a strict policy apparently. read more

Absolutely the WORST Waffle House I have been in! The employees were indifferent to myself and my family members. We were never greeted!! The place was a pigsty! We could not sit down because the empty tables were covered with dirty dishes. After one family member started to move dishes we were yelled at. We were told we could not do that. Ok, we understand because of health issues, but no attempts were made to clear a place for us. One employee started to clean one booth, but returned to the work station. One family member sat down before it was completed. The employee from behind the counter yelled "you can't sit there until it's finished being clean!" No, attempted was made to finish Cleaning the booth. We realized we were not going to be waited on so we turned to leave. As we were leaving the original table was not cleaned, but a man had come in and was sitting there. Here's the thing, HE WAS NEVER TOLD HE COULD NOT SIT THERE. So, he was certainly not yelled at! Well, now you know WHY some people are just not welcome in this Waffle House!!! read more

Went to Waffle House restaurant #1822. It was late at night and the service and food were horrible. 3 employees were there sitting down, one male watching a sports game on hIs phone and the 2 girls just hanging. Didn't ask if we needed anything. Didn't bring jelly for toast or provide a single drink refill. The waffle makers were all above trays of past made waffles which were touching the newly made waffles because they were not cleaned. The food was uncharacteristically way below par for Waffle House. This location is awful in every way. read more

This Waffle House is going down hill fast! No customers, three employees and the floor looks like it hasn't been swept or mopped in two days. Tables aren't much better, not sure they even wipe them off. Service is super slow and good luck getting coffee before your meal. read more

This Waffle House by far is the best Waffle House and breakfast joint I have been to in a long time. The staff, and our waitress( wish I could remember her name) was super respectful, polite, and provided great service! I have never been a Waffle House fan coming from Toledo Ohio... But this Grenada Mississippi visit has changed my opinion completely. Superior staff and a fantastic breakfast along with a very friendly polite staff. I highly recommend this Waffle House!! Fantastic job staff!! read more
