Went to Waffle House after leaving the casino and Waffle House never fails to disappoint in good or entertainment! I didn't get a picture of my food because I was starving but I had the waffle with bacon, grits, toast and ham with coffee to drink. Our server was so sweet and nice. Entertainment-wise, there was a group of young guys in there who were playing the juke box and singing! They were just being young guys enjoying life and it was great to see. They could have been out in the world being menaces to society but they weren't. It's on my list of places to go when leaving the casino going back to my room. read more

This one is set slightly back off the highway but can be accessed from the service road easily. It's clean and my wife said the bathrooms are clean. We came here for a lunch on a Friday during Spring Break returning home from WinStar back to Denton County area. Have to mention this so I can one day look back at this and laugh but there was an up charge of 50 cents per egg on each plate. Still seems so strange we actually have an egg shortage to the extent we have to pay a premium....LOL... The team here is very fun-natured, even goofy....dancing and singing to song while working and giving each other grief for missing orders or forgetting about tables. They were not busy, but when walked in the the waitress didn't even turn around said " sit anywhere be with you in a minute " thought nothing of it and went and sat down again keep in mind NOT BUSY she continued to mess with the coffee maker, smacked it and took someone's order, barely called it to the cook. Well she then went to do something Else and by this time 10 min had passed by. She then acted liked she was coming out way turned around and while again never saying anything went back to coffee maker and then went to chat with others now 25 minutes has passed by, and not even a drink order?!?! Me and my little sis went in last Tuesday for dinner. We got greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces by the cooks and waitresses. Our waitress was great about being on top of drink refills. Food was fast and tasty! We ordered our food and got it in less than 5 minutes. Grits, waffles, grilled cheese, and hash browns were absolutely perfect.
