You meet the nicest people at Waffle House This location is our halfway point to Orlando. We have stopped here for breakfast several times over the years and nothing ever changes. Most Waffle Houses I've been to look pretty much the same. There is no ambiance. But we know that The coffee is hot and we like the mugs..the pecan waffles are my favorite and the hash browns covered, smothered etc ...they are really good but I should have asked for them cooked well done or else they can be served way undercooked. Another favorite is their cinnamon toast. May not be on the menu, just ask. The newest menu doesn't list other items but we were told you need to ask for the pork chop or steak for breakfast. The servers are friendly, the food is average and the prices are still fair but they keep increasing like everywhere. I am sure we will be stopping here again in the future. read more

It's right by some hotels and truck stops which is super convenient for travelers! The parking lot is open and well kept, they play music which makes for a nice setting. The food I delicious, who doesn't love breakfast! The wait staff is very vigilant and service is quick! read more

I've never been to a restaurant and was charged an extra fee for placing the order and it to go container until now. on top of that they don't know what's on the menu I asked for a double patty melt, and I had to explain to them how to make it and what came on it. They didn't even realize that it was an item on the menu. not to mention I overheard a customer come in and state he was from out of town and asked them if they could get him drugs. We eat at Waffle Houses in many southern states when we travel in our RV. The food is always delicious and prices are very reasonable. Their omelets ate the best around. They use a 50's style milkshake blender to whip the eggs. Then, they cook them in butter. So light and fluffy and tasty. Hash-browns are always cooked to perfection. Never had a bad meal at Waffle House. They have corporate training programs for their cooks to ensure consistency. Wish all restaurants would train as well as they do. read more

Thanks to my waitress she did finally get them for me correctly the 3rd time. Half way through our meal we finally got our waffles. Was not impressed at all with this location besides the waitress. She was very attentive and has no control over the cooks. She is the only reason for the 2 star rating otherwise it would've been a big fat zero. Worth the drive. After mistakingly passing the first one down the road, we made the trip to the next one without hesitation. Waffle House's in general have a great reputation on my end. I've never had a bad experience and this location was no exception. The service was lively! All the employees greeted us as soon as we walked in. We got our menus and ordered right away. A server came over and she was nice, but the cook and other server could have cared less. I understand staffing is an issue, but at least be courteous. Sit at the counter, which is a little dirty. Menus are laminated in plastic, seven bucks gets the All American special or whatever it is. They open the fridge and you can see individually pre-packaged meat being moved to the grill. I've only been to this one once, but whenever I travel, this is the ONLY place I will go. They are open 24/7 and the food is just plain good. If you can get past everything else; the DIRTY everything, it's well worth it. I always get the chicken and eggs, scrambled. Fluffiest eggs and extremely moist chicken breast. Not a huge fan of the hashbrowns but I'm not a fan of anyones hashbrowns, theirs is acceptable though. I'm not into crunchy things and theirs is fairly crunchy but the potatoes under the crust is great. I know my friends like it a lot.
