Obee credit union is terrible for military personel. They own my loan for my vehicle. I asked for…read morethe doccuments that I needed from them to ship my vehicle overseas due to a pcs to europe. I can not express my frustration in words with them. Even though no where in my contract or financial documents does it say that I would not be allowed to ship my vehicle overseas I have been told by the CLO "Dave" of OBee that I will be unable to ship my var over seas for my pcs move. The reason they provided is that they have lost countless vehicles. Obviously this is not true. Everyone knows that if a soldier stops paying on a vehicle it is fairly easy for a lean holder to recoup their money. The governmnet will just with hold that money from the soldier ontop of that soldier possibly receiving an article 15. That said, even with orders they were unwilling to budge. So I have been forced to payoff the vehicle in full, pay for my own express title because the bank doesnt have it oddly enough (every car loan ive had...many...the bank had the title in hand). I was told 8 weeks to get the physical title by standard methods and thus an $80+ tax cost out of my pocket to cover their ass so I can ship my vehicle on time. If you are military do not use them. Ive litterly had the vehicle 3 months and asked if it was ok to ship the vehicle overseas when i purchased the vehicle and I was ok then...but not now. Terrible experience. They get their money, I get to clean up the mess. Thanks OBEE, this veteran will make sure everyone knows how bad you suck.

Great experience! Super nice and efficient service!…read more Everyone was super friendly, while waiting in line noticed that several employees were especially caring to elderly and prior military customers, taking extra patience and time with them which was really nice to see. Kim specifically helped me and helped handle account issues without an appointment. Instead of waiting for an appointment Wednesday (2 days later) she was willing to multi task and helped me get all my issues handled even though it meant more work for her. She could have just handed me off to someone else another day, so this was super appreciated! Will absolutely use this branch again, also very clean. Great experience!

I am not sure what happened between 2018 and 2020 but Travis Wentworth was not at all as helpful as…read morethe reviews stated! I started working with Travis 8 months before we planned on closing, we gave him all of the information on the property (we were renting so that we could do the minor renos prior to purchasing) He was informed that the house was a 100 yo property, we had original doors off and floors were being repaired, on hold while we were hunting for matching materials which are very hard to find.. I made sure he was aware of our status the whole time and worried that an inspection would hold up closing because of the repairs... I was advised that there would be no inspection just an appraisal... the property as it sat was worth more than the amount of the loan (purchased for well under value). The appraiser came in, acted as an inspector and insisted we finished all the floors, installed all doors and installed a whole house heating system (wood stove was only heat source 100 years ago) as well as a laundry list of minor but annoying repairs needed to suit the lender (Academy Mortgage is the lender) all of this was told to us 7 days before close!!!!!!! We had to spend a small fortune and take a week off of work to make all repairs to the house that would be torn out in 6 months during final reno before we could close on our close date!!! Travis knew we were holding on the major repairs/renos until we owned the property!! Who puts in a 5000.00 heating system to a property you do not own yet??!! He could not care less about the situation he put us in and the amount of money we had to spend because of his inadequateness. I filed a complaint to the corporate office, which did result in a phone call but no follow up to the complaint!! My advice, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR TRAVIS unless you have no concerns for your time or your money!! Travis will only watch out for himself!
