I called at open at 9:05am. Spoke with Maria Ayres, branch manager. She quoted me .25 percent less on rate than the one I had quote from, I said ok but I would like to see both installment contracts. She wanted the name of dealership even though I gave her all viable info she needed. By 1pm she texted me and told me the other place had miscalculated the sales tax, I said okay, again asked for installment contracts. By 5pm I called and she had not sent them and started telling me random numbers over the phone, I said no please send them so I can look them over, she said ok. Never got them, was not happy, I drove 30 miles to step in the Twin Star and she claimed she sent them to a yahoo email, which I don't have, she agreed to screen shot and text them. To make a long story short she had called the dealership acting like she was now doing the loan and refused to give me quotes because even though she was supposidly giving me a lower rate, the payment was 14.00 more per month than at the higher rate, I asked how can this be, she says oh here and made the payments 16.00 lower, but I calculated the loans total cost, a savings of 200.00 really! She was just trying to take over the loan as still get the more money by making it look like the rate was less. Deceptive and wrong! Because of the total dishonesty I did not use her and we won't be changing our banking to them. From the branch manager no less. Beware my friends.

Obee credit union is terrible for military personel. They own my loan for my vehicle. I asked for…read morethe doccuments that I needed from them to ship my vehicle overseas due to a pcs to europe. I can not express my frustration in words with them. Even though no where in my contract or financial documents does it say that I would not be allowed to ship my vehicle overseas I have been told by the CLO "Dave" of OBee that I will be unable to ship my var over seas for my pcs move. The reason they provided is that they have lost countless vehicles. Obviously this is not true. Everyone knows that if a soldier stops paying on a vehicle it is fairly easy for a lean holder to recoup their money. The governmnet will just with hold that money from the soldier ontop of that soldier possibly receiving an article 15. That said, even with orders they were unwilling to budge. So I have been forced to payoff the vehicle in full, pay for my own express title because the bank doesnt have it oddly enough (every car loan ive had...many...the bank had the title in hand). I was told 8 weeks to get the physical title by standard methods and thus an $80+ tax cost out of my pocket to cover their ass so I can ship my vehicle on time. If you are military do not use them. Ive litterly had the vehicle 3 months and asked if it was ok to ship the vehicle overseas when i purchased the vehicle and I was ok then...but not now. Terrible experience. They get their money, I get to clean up the mess. Thanks OBEE, this veteran will make sure everyone knows how bad you suck.
