We went here to have our 2011 taxes done, being new to the area and waiting a bit too long to get…read moreour taxes started. We got a huge refund. I questioned the preparer about the itemized deductions, particularly the deduction for mileage traveled to and from work because I was concerned it was a huge deduction. She assured me that it was perfectly allowable since it was over 50 miles. Now it's 2012 and I brought my taxes elsewhere since I did not quite trust that whole thing, and guess what? That is a totally bogus deduction. Now we get to send in an amended return for 2011 and pay the amount we were overpaid on our 2011 return because of that deduction. And we have to hope the IRS doesn't come after us and penalize us and charge us interest for the overpayment. I would not recommend this business, they seem to do whatever they can to get you a huge refund, even if it is not allowed. I guess so you will go back again. Not me. It could end up being a very expensive mistake for us. If it is I may have to try to sue them, but quite frankly I don't even want to talk to them again.
