After my father-in-law's accident, police had his vehicle towed to Munroe Auto Body without asking…read morehis preference. When insurance attempted to retrieve the vehicle, we were presented with charges far beyond what insurance considers reasonable, including: * $350 winch fee (insurance allows $100) * $125 fuel surcharge * $750 flatbed tow * $525 administrative fee (insurance allows $150) * $275 cleanup fee * $125 per day storage fees accumulating while release was being arranged Despite explaining the financial hardship this created, the business was unwilling to work toward a reasonable solution. Communication with the owner was dismissive and unprofessional, and the situation was portrayed as our fault for the insurance company we use. Accidents are stressful enough without facing excessive fees and unhelpful treatment afterward. I would strongly advise others to ensure they control where their vehicle is towed if possible.

I had a strange request and Val at Boff's helped me out…read more I injured my back badly at home during the few days my car was in a garage in Wexford for minor repairs and inspection. I was ordered "no driving" for several weeks. It was very difficult to schedule my 2 grandkids to retrieve it when repairs were finished, due to college schedules. After waiting 9 days of it waiting to "come home" and still no grand kids--I called Boff's. The experience was wonderful. Val in the office said they could get the car and bring it to my home. Such relief!! The kind tow truck driver, Dave, came to our house quickly to get my keys as the other set was locked in the car. He retrieved it and had it back in our driveway within a short period of time. Val and Dave represent the company well. Professional, kind and understanding. They brought calm to my stressful situation. Stating "Don't worry. " I am so very grateful for them. Dave even placed it in it's very own parking space for me in our driveway. My heroes!

After a very unfortunate motor vehicle accident, my car was towed to Critchlow's site…read more It took a few days for me to get there to empty out the car. Being a busy business, my car was moved further back in the locked area and was making friends with a lot of other totaled vehicles. Thankfully, an employee offered to assist me in emptying out my car. My driver's door barely opened. The driver side rear door was too close to next vehicle to open. The passenger side was up against a fence. I don't know how the burly man squeezed between the vehicles, opened the trunk, & passed everything to me. Very thankful for their quick response to the scene and keeping my belongings safe.
