I really hate to do this but Dr Pilling did some work for me pulling my teeth and the first mistake was he left a part of a root in my mouth and tried to tell me it was a bone spur but I don't believe that for a minute bone spurs don't have a hollow root feel to them. When he took it out he tossed it without even showing me what it was. Two when he did a realignment on my dentures after I healed up whatever chemicals he used burned and melted my gums yes causing me damage. He even said "it may feel like it is burning but it is not I promise" yeah well I am going report this the licensing board. He even told my father the day of my surgery after 25 years in business he was tried off his job and wanted to be done soon. He is full of himself and wants ever dollar he can get out you with his prices and for service I got he is not worth it. At first he seemed ok but now I will not ever go back to him. Now I have to find some to do may implants because he was both arms and both legs to do the implants. I would absolutely avoid this dentist at costs. read more

I was promised, twice, a free consultatio. I spent less than 10 minutes with the Dr. During that time he glanced at my mouthpiece for maybe 30 seconds and for that "limited exam" I was charged $80. Only go to this Dr if you have really deep pockets. The "free consultation" is a lie!!!!! read more

While I love his staff and hygienists, I strongly recommend avoiding this dentist. I have worked with him twice over the past 15 years and both times left with a bad taste in my mouth. Both times he helped me with a dental implant. The first time, he broke my trust by using a bone graft that we had previously agreed not to use. Unfortunately, I decided to give him a second chance. His most recent work on my implant will require follow up care (by another dentist) as it was installed in a way that will lead to chronic abscesses. I found this dentist to be rude and dishonest, even to the point of petty meanness on occasion. When the bite on my implant was uncomfortable, he said it was fine and encouraged me to give it some time, which I agreed to. When I came in for a follow up appointment to correct the discomfort later on, he was visibly irritated. After having me wait nearly an hour beyond my scheduled time, he easily corrected the bite in about 5 minutes, but then wrapped up the session by arbitrarily yanking on my lips (not part of the exam at all) leading to some painful tearing. Obviously, I will not be giving him any more chances and believe that others would be well advised to avoid this business, as well. read more

After being told I would need to wait at least two weeks to get a replacement filling, I called them up and they gave me a same day appointment! Additionally, they have a 3D printed so instead of giving me just a filling, they were able to give me the crowns I needed for my teeth on the same day! I was in and out in just over 3 hours with a months worth of work done! No waiting for crowns to show up, no hassle, and nothing but awesome service. They give you glasses, headphones, and have TVs in the ceilings as an added bonus. If I ever come back to Meridian, they will absolutely be my first choice. I've been to countless dentists and these guys are my new first choice. read more

This is my first negative review in my life. It took me over one and a half year to finally decide to post it. Dr. Wade Pilling was recommended to me by my best friend who also happened to be part of Dr. Pilling's family. I think that people should know about my experience with Dr. Piling. If I knew what I know now, I would never let him even touch my teeth. Everything what he did, wasn't right. The implant, the crowns, etc. The gum edges where the implant was inserted are not even and very bumpy. In one of the bump I could see and feel something white. When I brought to his attention, he blamed the previous dentist who extracted the tooth. He said that this is a tiny part of the tooth and at some point it should come out. When I asked to remove it, Dr. Pilling requested additional $250.00. At this point after paying over $8,000.00 for the procedures, I felt that he should just remove it to show that he cares. Well since this wasn't the worst experience and since the implant was not in the front, I just let it go. I wish I just stopped there! Well, next thing that Dr. Pilling did was a crown and after that nothing was right in my mouth. The tooth/gum had been hurting ever since when I try to eat on this side. I went back two or three times and Dr. Piling tried to adjust my bite by shaving the lower tooth. It seems that this is his "go-to" technique as mentioned in previous reviews. After that my lower tooth became very sensitive to anything and the original problem wasn't fixed. I still couldn't bite on this side. When I went back, Dr. Piling informed me that I probably would need a root canal of this tooth. He also informed me that he doesn't perform root canals. I questioned him as why did he put a crown on the tooth that needed a root canal. He said that's no big deal because the specialist can make a small hole in the crown. In the meantime, my insurance expired and I was paying everything out of my packet even the root canal. I was informed that the root canal procedure costs $1,200 but the specialist said that he would try to do something else and see if this would help. I paid something around $250 (I don't remember exactly), and it didn't help. I have been so unhappy with Dr. Pilling's work but I think it hurts more that he didn't care. He never apologized for his less than mediocre work that had been causing my pain ever since. He never showed any compassion. He never offered to lower the cost of the crown that he messed up and wasn't able to fix. On many occasions I discussed the situation with him and then Aubrey. It seems to me that they are very quick to take your money but if something goes wrong, they are not willing/not able to help. This is my opinion. Fast forward to today. I moved to another area and finally found a dentist who not only is skilled but cares. I scheduled an app but in the meantime I experienced a horrible pain affecting the same tooth that Dr. Piling worked on. Finally, it was determined that I have an infection and root canal was performed in an emergency situation. Today, finally I am free of pain after what seems like forever. I would never recommend Dr. Piling to anybody!!! I would not like anybody to go through such experience and pain. The only good thing that I experienced in this office was their hygienist. If I were to write a review for her, she would get 5 stars! I am posting this review for other people to research and check, and double check before making decisions. read more

My family has had a wonderful experience with Dr. Pillings office. Their staff is friendly and helpful, and most importantly Dr. Pilling is *very knowledgeable and does exceptional work. My daughter had complicated case. After taking her to another dentist, I left feeling unsettled about their recommended treatment. I'm *SO thankful I decided set up a consult at Aesthetic Smiles. At our consultation with Dr. Pilling, he helped us understand exactly how to proceed. He showed us similar cases he had done, explained the treatment plan and did a really great job answering all the questions we had. My kids and I are comfortable and relaxed during all of our appointments. The dentists, hygienists, and office assistants have been wonderful. Scheduling has been convenient. They always greet us with smiles, make us feel welcome, and are easy to chat with. I highly recommend this office regularly to my coworkers, family, and friends. Things went well at first, but once COVID hit, the office took zero precautions. After the mask mandate in ada course ty went into effect, the office didn't abide by it. My requests for people to wear masks were met with disdain. A phone call and several emails requesting precautions to be observed went completely unanswered. For a profession where their staff are constantly right up in people's mouths, you would think they would care about a pandemic. Subpar work that is overpriced! They make false promises and charge you the max. Their billing tactics are sketchy as well. My husband and I both got a horrible feeling from Dr. Pilling! Just filed a fraud claim against Aesthetic Smiles in Meridian for withdrawing money from checking account over and above any balance due without authorization. Do not use your check card to pay them. The tooth that I had crowned continues to cause pain but I will not go back there to have it fixed. read more

Scam artist, will over charge you. Will bill your insurance to the max possible for tooth surfaces that were NOT filled. Will bill your insurance, get paid then charge you for the remaining balance even though they have a contractual agreement with the insurance to NOT charge outside of contractual agreement. Will attempt to bully you and attempt to force unnecessary treatments and dental wear. They will do everything possible to rip you off. Cold hearted staff with no smiles absolutely no expressions. Makes sense why the office never had any other patients each time I was there. Rough, inconsistent treatments that will leave you needing more then you needed when you got there. If they get away with it once they will continue to be unethical. read more
