We fought daily/ weekly / monthly with that company for answers as to when our dream pool would be complete! We got no answers, or lies when we actually did speak with a person! It has been an absolute nightmare! Months lost, time and energy spent! Finally we had had enough, we contacted an attorney and looked into another pool company to come and finish our pool! We were given Patriot Pools ( Patrick) information along with several other companies from our bank. Patrick came out immediately and assessed our situation and came up with a plan. He is honest and extremely easy to work with ! All our questions were answered immediately. We signed with Patrick /Patriot Pools and within 2 weeks our pool was complete and filled with water! We are beyond grateful to Patriot Pools for not only taking on this project, but also for the countless hours he spent speaking with my family and providing help and direction. I hired them to open my large pool of 33,000 gallons of water. 2 workers came yo my home to open…read moreit. They removed the cover , saw the pump motor worked and checked to see the cartridges in the filter system, I was told they sweep a little. The whole process took 1 1/2!hrs. Need less to say the pool water was terrible and smelled. They said the put some shock in. First, the filtration system was not cleaning at all so I , put in an over amount of shock. It did take the smell away but still was not clean. Had my son recheck both top skimmers and found a plug was left so the water could not flow to the filter. Now after a few weeks I was able to get the cloudiness out of most of the water. Shock, the cleaning jets on the pool wall still had the plugs in them. So total plugs never removed were 6. No wonder I could never get the water clear. I paid a total of $575 because of my in-ground cleaning system , which could not work properly until I removed all the 6 plugs, which should have been done when they opened it. I was totally surprised this morning with a text from the owner of BMA pools. He had just come back from vacation and just read my text to him. He apologized for any of my inconvenience and sent me a refund of $200. If you ever get a company to service your pool , please ask how much time they will spend doing so and how much real experience the worker have doing your pool. E

They were hired…read moreto mainly properly and professionally seal the new Glen-Gery red brick pavers around the patio doors, 2 other doors and the back wall of my new deck. However, when water touches whatever the white material they used, the material just melts. They were also hired to repair the mortar between about 3 or 4 bricks, matching the existing mortar. However, after two attempts, they could not match the existing mortar, and they just spread their beige colored mortar over the existing light brown mortar. These guys couldn't even remain in the lines, spreading their mortar onto the bricks. Also, after their first attempt to repair the mortar between what was only several pavers, they instead tampered with an entire section of pavers with their mortar that did not match. They couldn't even remain within the lines, sloppily spreading mortar onto the actual pavers. When I complained about their work, Edwin assured me that he could and would match the mortar. But, on their second attempt they again did not match the existing mortar and continued to destroy other sections of the new pavers that did not need to be repaired. They were also hired to power wash the deck, the old existing pavers on the steps, the columns supporting the deck and the blue stone patio beneath the deck, but that was never done. Most importantly, they were hired to seal the new pavers, and this is when they completely destroyed almost $3,000 worth of new Glen-Gery pavers. Whatever they used to seal the red pavers bleached them completely white in some sections of the deck, and partially white on most of the pavers on the deck and the existing pavers on the steps. It's impossible to be this incompetent by accident. I chose this company because they have 59 five-star reviews on their website along with pictures of their work, displaying quality workmanship. However, this company's advertisement displaying quality workmanship has to be bogus based on the extremely poor quality of their workmanship on my property, completely destroying my new expensive pavers. If possible, I would provide pictures of my deck, displaying their horrific workmanship. I also have filed a complaint with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC).
