My review is from the standpoint of a guest at a Thursday 5:30 wedding and reception. It took us…read moreabout an hour to arrive from our home. We ended up arriving early because we weren't sure how traffic would be coming from the north Dallas area during rush hour, so we allowed plenty of travel time. There was plenty of parking (especially arriving early!) and we found the entry signage no problem. I love all the beautiful stone work on the buildings. This venue is gorgeous!! The wedding was held outside and the photographer was taking pictures outside so we hung out in a seating area in the lobby. I noticed a rug in the center area that had two edges sticking up and I saw several people kinda trip over it. I went to tell the bartender and she couldn't care less, after she dramatically removed her ear bud (like I was inconveniencing her). She told me to tell a staff member! I never saw anyone that looked like they worked there. A little while later I noticed two chairs were moved to that corner of the rug and that appeared to resolve any tripping hazard. The rug was well worn and just needs to be replaced, if a rug is even needed at all. The ladies room, with a sitting area, is spacious and beautiful. I did see a pleasant young lady use a blower to clear all the leaves off the area where the guests would be seated. We went outside to find a seat for the wedding. It was nice that the seating area is down from where the ceremony was held at the top of the stairs, so it had a great view. Right as the processional began a freight train had their whistle blowing, so it might be good if future weddings know the train schedule! Things slowed down a little to allow the train to finish and then we enjoyed a beautiful ceremony. The sun was still streaming in through the trees and there was a slight breeze for a beautiful October outdoor wedding. Everyone was invited to hang out inside the lobby area waiting while they took more pictures outside. It was finally time for the doors to the reception area to open up. The reception area was beautiful and later when the dancing began, there were various colored lights that lit up in the overhead mini balcony sections along the ceiling area. Everyone found their table and then when it was time for the food to be served, we were summoned by table and you walk back behind where the bride and groom presided. There was a buffet line set up and you were served what you wanted by staff. The food was all delicious! We enjoyed attending a wedding at Aristide in Mansfield!

This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences my daughter and I have ever…read morehad while planning her wedding. We had no contact from anyone for months -- since August or September -- and only recently learned from Laura that she is no longer the correct point of contact. No one updated this information or informed us of the change. To make matters worse, my account was accidentally charged $2,413, and instead of receiving an apology or any accountability, I was sent a message explaining their payment policy. Not once did anyone acknowledge the mistake or the inconvenience it caused. The lack of communication and basic customer care is unacceptable. This was supposed to be a memorable and exciting experience for my daughter, but no one has made her feel special or supported throughout this process. It truly feels like the quality of service left when Laura did. At this point, my expectations for how the wedding will turn out in August are extremely low. I would caution anyone considering this venue to think twice before booking.

Planning a large event does not come naturally to me. After months of being engaged, but not…read moreplanning a lick and feeling totally stalled in where to begin, we hired All Things Planned to do the full planning wedding package. One of the first things I noticed was how well organized Amy Rodriguez, the owner of All Things Planned, was. What surprised me more was how much I enjoyed being around her. Amy is stellar at working with brides and is generally just a cool cat. Your monthly meetings with her will not only be productive, but fun. Amy is a saint. There were times when I know fully I was being bridezilla level difficult or obstinately undecided on wedding elements and she took my hand (metaphorically) and helped me navigate all and any wedding decisions. When I couldn't decide on wedding décor, she produced trendy ideas. When music had me stumped, she offered suggestions. She never once showed impatience with me. She has a very useful wealth of knowledge about vendors, which proved to be immensely helpful. Oftentimes she would be the go between with vendors and me, which alleviated much of the burden of keeping track of all the little details and payments. She exudes kindness and a love for her career. One of the many things Amy excels at is communication. She was quick to respond to emails and she or her team would thoroughly research anything I mentioned I was interested in. She made charts to compare prices and services. I always felt like I was making smart and informed decisions with Amy at the helm. One of Amy's team in particular truly impressed me with going above and beyond, all while having a wonderful attitude. Julianne took care of several of the wedding details that would have been very stressful if they had been added to my plate. She brought almost all of my wedding décor to the venue and picked up my flowers the day of. She met with me outside of her normal work hours to pick up decorations and was easy to reach when I needed something or had questions. The wedding day itself went seamlessly and nothing, I repeat NOTHING, went wrong. All Things Planned is largely to thank for this. The All Things Planned team were kind, courteous, and a source of constant positivity. They set up all of the decorations in the morning and I did not have to lift a finger. This allowed me to relax as much as I could and focus on cherishing my wedding day. During the day they made sure the groom and I were fed, had drinks of our choice, and sent the leftover cake and food home with the right people. At the end of the night they removed all of the décor as well. I had a stress free wedding day where I could take in the moment and create those fond memories because of All Things Planned hard work. For any overwhelmed bride, choosing All Things Planned is a no brainer. They are very capable professionals who you can trust with your wedding vision and to keep everything that day running smoothly! Without a doubt, All Things Planned was the best investment we made towards the wedding!

Amy helped us find our venue and the various vendors we needed to hire. She supported us in meetings with the venue and other vendors and interfaced with all of the vendors prior to and during the wedding to ensure we were all coordinated. There were many aspects of the wedding that we did not consider during the planning process and Amy brought them to our attention and helped us determine how we wanted to handle them. Amy's timeline for the wedding day was invaluable and helped us keep everyone on schedule. She and her team handled all of the vendors, oversaw the venue setup, cut the cake for us, and handled the take down at the venue after the reception. She helped us get the entire wedding party to the church on time and directed the photographers to where they could find the various parties to take photos. Amy ran the rehearsal so that everyone knew what they were supposed to do and when, and on the wedding day, she did the same thing. As the MOB I did not have to worry about anything. Amy and her assistant handled everything professionally. It allowed me to enjoy the day without worry. If you are looking for a Wedding Coordinator, you should hire All Things Planned. You will be very pleased with their support and services.
