This was the only cafe open on a Monday afternoon in late April off-season. The woman working there spoke very little English (she was however very nice) and the menu was entirely in German. Don't let that stop you though, as the pastries were absolutely delicious! We wanted something with apricot (as that is the regional specialty) even though we didn't know how to say it in german. Luckily it was easy to guess which items had the ingredient just by looking at the colors of the ingredients. Definitely stop here for a treat when you are in the Wachau valley. read more
