An excellent bakery set in a cute square just next to the main Krems train station. They have a large assortment of delicious cakes and pastries, homemade marzipan, and delightful ice cream sundaes. Julius Meinl coffee completes the deal. If you're in Krems, treat yourself and stop by. read more

Mario's Romanian Brezel (Pretzel) Shop is a perfect place to enjoy some Romanian street food. And why not try the classic pretzel or Brezel or as I know it - 'the Covrig'. These are real Covrigi like you would find in Bucharesti or Braov. I love the poppy seed (mohn) topping. This little store is only minutes from the Krems main train and bus stations and right off of the pedestrian Landstraße. I wish Vienna had a Romanian Covrigi shop!
