This same shop had also provided a winter floral arrangement for my Father's funeral the same week, so I was comfortable that they would provide another nice arrangement. A gentleman even walked me back to the cooler and showed me a pre-made example of what he had in mind to create for me, and I stated the price I had in mind to spend. He told me to return in a few hours, and he would have an arrangement ready for me. I returned at 4pm and the centerpieces were ready as promised. There is a driveway you drive into that is between 2 houses and there are 2 greenhouses in the back. It certainly truly feels like a family-run business. I like supporting small business and this place is currently serving the Attica area.

We have been losing people left and right! Three in the last week alone. Most have been unexpected,…read morethe work of a single moment, others just a matter of days. It feels suddenly like people are in a hurry to exit the planet and it is overwhelming us. This is one funeral we, as well as a few other members of the family, are not able to get to. I called Anker as they are located in the town where the funeral is held. I apologize, I do not remember the names of the women who assisted me. First phone call she knew about the funeral and had other arrangements for the service which gave me a sense of 'being in good hands' and one less thing to think about. She offered me suggestions on types of flower arrangements and price ranges and I told her I'd pass on the information to the other family members and call back. Choices include a wicker basket filled with live plants and fresh flowers for the family to take home, a bouquet in a vase to take home, or a cemetery bouquet that is left graveside. After conversing with family, and realizing many people attending are coming in from out of town, we chose the later. I called back and a second woman assisted me with style (cemetery), price point, reminded me of taxes and delivery fee (thank you!) and color preference. Both these women were *very* patient and sympathetic and so very helpful. I can't thank them enough for helping us. I saw here on Yelp they would send a pic and so I asked if they would text me so that I could share it (here, and) with the family. We are so pleased with this beautiful bouquet. The florist used a variety of symbolic 'funeral' flowers and it is a colorful celebration of life. I am very happy to recommend Anker Florist. The staff are so helpful and the final product beautiful.

The arrangements are a solid value: they've always been delivered on time (out to a not-easy rural location, too) and they've always been pretty. One more thing as to value, Mom particularly carries on about how long the flowers from Rubia's last (sometimes I'm pretty amazed). One small downside: they're closed on Mondays. Rubia's is our first go-to in the area, but on a Monday (as just happened a minute ago) they lose out to the other big outfit in town.
