After pulling into a shared lot (a landscape design and build is next door), I entered the ranch style business with a central room and a couple smaller ones containing a wide variety of objects. There is a section for ladies' clothing, and lots of tables and cabinets loaded with items. In fact, even some of the shelves and cabinets are for sale too! I saw tableware, decorative pieces, items promoting Terre Haute, candles, and art pieces. The woman who was working was pleasant and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I just found out that we have a crystal shop in my home town ! (Actually, I found out through…read moreTikTok). How exciting is that ! I went with a friend last weekend and we spent 2 hours wandering around the store. The store has tarot cards, crystals, minerals, books, jewelry, and other miscellaneous items. Most of the crystals are group together by type. Some of the prices are a little steep for the items. Not all items are marked on price. And not all items are marked as to what they are. Parking is also kind of tricky since it's in a little strip of businesses with street parking. Those would be the only downfalls. The owner is super sweet ! They are there to answer any questions you may have. They also offer a crystal rewards program, which in itself is pretty neat ! I would definitely return and recommend to anyone interested in crystals who may pass through the area.

The place was very well kept and clean! The vibe of the store is hard to beat! The shop keepers were very polite and let you browse at your own pace! I felt like everything was priced well! A little history about the building this is in…read more The McGregor House was built in 1885. It is located in Brazil, Indiana. This former bed and breakfast was turned into the local YMCA back in the 1920's. In the 1940's the gymnasium was added onto the home. The gymnasium has original hardwood floors and subway tiles. They use I'd guess about 3/4 of the space for display of goods. Prices were a bit higher then I expected. They do have some beautiful pieces. I'm just not sure worth the price. The owner was friendly. She along with the two other customers weren't wearing masks. I'm going to have to start getting use to that and assume they are vaccinated and not just... Nice shop worth a visit. There are some other beautiful house to look at in the area.
