I didn't have a problem with this waba grill until yesterday. The food was so bad.. It was my first time bringing my boyfriend.. I was so excited for him to try it and maybe we can continue coming back. Unfortunately he does not want to come back at all. The chicken was rubbery, the cabbage tasted like dish soap, I didn't get carrots and the rice was mushy.. my boyfriend said his chicken didn't taste fresh and the steak tasted old and dry. I ate my bowl because I was starving and had no choice, I did not want to bother the employees at the time since they were busy. My boyfriend ate half the meat on his bowl and left all his rice. I so enjoy WaBa! But sadly disappointed with the customer service of this location. My wife and I went through the drive thru and when I we arrived home we had the wrong bowl. I immediately called and spoke with Ivan. He took my name down and said just come later today or tomorrow and we will give you the right bowl. My wife an I returned Later the same day when the heat of the day cooled down. The night manager Christina informed us that we were supposed to bring back the wrong bowl. This was never stated to us. The night manager did not believe us and wanted to see the evidence of the wrong bowl. Since we didn't bring the bowl the manager is calling the owner to see what can be done. So they want to resolve this by giving me a child's bowl. But that is not what I paid for. In short! They would not give me what I paid for! They would NOT return my money! THEY SIMPLY WOULDN'T DO the right thing in this matter! I cannot even begin to believe that a manager needs to call the owner for $7.50. I see the business has to account for every penny! This is a great place for healthy food. The bowls or plates come with an option of white or brown rice. The food choices are great and the food tastes fresh. The inside of the restaurant is clean and the service is fast (interior or drive-thru service). The price is relatively fair. Eating healthy is never cheap. Love this restaurant... Their food is always fresh, love the salad as well with oriental dressing. Coming here to order chicken and beef combo for my husband and I usually get chicken salad. It is pretty big amount and fulfilling. The store is just open so hopefully they keep it clean. read more

This is by far the worst experience I've had at a waba grill. I went drive thru and my order was wrong but I didn't see it until I got home. I called and let them know it was wrong so the worker told me to take it back but there was no way I was driving all the way back for a new plate. So I asked if I can get my money or my correct order another day and she said I'm pretty sure but I have to speak with my GM tomorrow. I never got a call back (left my number) waiting for the GM to call. I go back drive thru 3 days later and they tell me all they could do is give me a free drink.. WaBa Grill specializes in lean, high proteins with fresh veggies and nothing is cooked in oil. I got a GIANT plate of their teriyaki chicken with brown rice and a side salad. The salad was dressed enough, but not overly dressed. The chicken was amazing. It was juicy and tasty. Brown rice was, well, brown rice. You like it or you don't! I wish I would have gotten a side of veggies instead of the salad, however. They just looked SO good when they were cooking them! I am excited that new locations are opening up closer to home. Never have had a problem with my orders, always have all the condiments in stock (carrots jalapeños, onions, hot sauce, teriyaki sauce). It's also one of the cleanest I've seen too.
